Happy St. Patrick's Day! Did you know Montreal has one of the longest running parades?

.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I hope everyone is well and ready to enjoy a great time and I just thought I'd share this before heading off to party with friends at Cold Tea. According to arguably the world's most popular encyclopedia Montreal has one of the longest running parades going strong since 1824. There's more fun stuff at the link, plus I thought I'd throw in a classic song with a St. Paddy's Day party to boot. Enjoy! :)

Cheers,

BK

Quote: Eminem - No Apologies

.

Eminem - No Apologies

.

IMHO, doing stuff helps feeling stuff, good luck, stay up and stay in touch, the song of the day...

.

[Verse 1: Eminem]

In my mind I'm a fighter, my hearts a lighter,
My soul is the fluid, my flow sparks it right up,
But arsenic writer, author with arth-r-itis,
Carpel-tunnel, Marshall with start sh-t-itis,
Hard-headed and hot-headed,
Bull-headed and pig-headed,
Dick-headed a prick, a big headache I'm sick,
Quick-witted for every lyric spitted,
There are 6 critics who wait for me, to slip with it,
So quick, this dynamite stick, bury the wick,
It's gonna ex-plode any minute, some lunatic lit it,

And its not Nelly, do not tell me to stop yelling,
When I stop selling I'll quit, so stop dwelling,
I am not failing, you f--kers are not ready,
Cause I got jelly, like Beyonce's pot belly,
This is destiny, yes money,
I'm off running, so get off of me,
I'm not slowing or softening...

[Hook]

No apologies, nah suckers I'm not sorry,
You can all sue me, y'all could be the cause of me,
No apologies, y'all feeling the force of me,
No remorse for me, like there was no recourse for me,
No apologies, not even acknowledging you at all,
'Til I get a call that G-d's coming,
No apologies, laugh f--kers, its all funny,
I can spit in your face while you're standing across from me,
No apologies...

[Verse 2: Eminem]

My head hits the pillow, a weeping willow,
I can't sleep, a pain so deep it bellows,
But these cellos, help just to keep me mellow,
Hands on my head, touch knees to elbows,
I'm hunched over, emotion just flows over,
These cold shoulders are both frozen,
You don't know me
I keep saying it, I can't stress it enough,
So keep playing it, and stand next to the subs,
I choke mics like asphyxation,
When I'm strangling my own throat masturbating,
F--k yeah I'm a basket case,
And I mastered this rap sh-t till my a-- gets wasted,
'Til my assassination, 'til I'm slain cuz of some f-gs infatuation,
.44 Mag's and fascination,
A taste for disaster, and if that's the case then...

[Hook]

No apologies, nah suckers I'm not sorry,
You can all sue me; y'all could be the cause of me,
No apologies, y'all feeling the force of me,
No remorse for me, like there was no recourse for me,
No apologies, not even acknowledging you at all,
'Til I get a call that G-d's coming,
No apologies, laugh f--kers, its all funny,
I can spit in your face while you're standing across from me,
No apologies...

[Verse 3: Eminem]

This song isn't for you it's for me,
A true MC, it's what he'll do,
Just to see, if he still has it,
And if his skills mastered,
He's able to spill raps long after he's killed, that's a,
Real MC, got you feeling me,
Whether willing, or unwillingly, you still agree,
As long as there's still this hunger, and will in me,
Then expect a longer life expectancy,
I'd be a savage beast,
If I ain't had this outlet to salvage me,
Inside, I'd be exploding, soaked in self loathing,
And mourning, so I'm warning you, don't coax me,
It's silly, I’m really a sheep in wolf's clothing,
Who only reacts when he gets pushed, don't be,
Fooled, the press blows up this whole thing,
It's stupid, they don't know cuz they don't see,
That I'm wounded, all they did was ballooned it,
I'm sick of talking bout these tattoos Cartoon did,
That's why I tuned it out, I'm sick of duking,
They can suck my d-ck while I'm puking, and you too you can,
Expect no sympathy, from me,
I'm an MC, this is how I'm supposed to be,
Cold as a G, my hearts frozen it don't even beat,
So expect no apologies,
Expect no sympathy, from me,
I'm an MC, this is how I'm supposed to be,
Cold as a G, my hearts frozen it don't even beat,
So expect no apologies...

Courtesy of Ms. Brave: "An Evolved Man Has Depth..." or... "What Evolved Women Want..."

.

FYI, this is a re-posting on Facebook that I think is especially important for men and women to help them get along better and respect each other more today. I'm re-posting my initial response too.

.

Agreed babe and I'm glad you're posting this stuff. I find it's more in style these days for girls to just talk and make you listen as opposed to ask questions and make you entertain them like we used to be encouraged to as part of the privilege of hanging with hotties. I think this is causing social constipation and urban PTSD, or Pussy Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is making people more frustrated, nervous and sketchy. It's also in style to text nonsense and force guys to respond over and over again, or disrespect someone until you think they like you, which is just nutty and I've broken off a couple of dates because me and my balls won't play ball, though I try to be nice about it and frankly I like it when confident chicks get to talkin' with my help, I just want more balance in the force. I also noticed it recently with a couple of hot bankster broads I was partying with and I just met an actress at the Starbucks and the same thing happened, or they politely spoke about what they were up to with little curiousity about what me and/or my buddies were up to or thought. I don't know if they're afraid of what we'll say or just not interested or just waiting to judge it, but I know this is a major paradigm shift over the last 10 years that I've noticed and know other guys notice it too after talking with them about it. This will also make it harder for women to trust men whether it's casually or intimately. After all, how can you trust someone who you don't let talk enough to know? Finally, keep in mind I'm hardcore pro-chick, I just think they need to have some guys they respect to hang out with so they feel respected too. Otherwise they're stuck doing nothing with nobody instead of something with somebody, and if anybody knows me they know somebody's busy and something better be worth it. On that note Ms. [redacted], aka Ms. Brave, thanks again for being lovely and smart and eggsy and posting, this stuff is a big boost coming from a beautiful and brainy babe! :)

.

FYE, or For Your Entertainment, here's a funny song with some smart stuff that breaks down how I thought about the relationship-game years ago and I think it still stands up today, perhaps more than ever. Right after I recorded it at the Justice League Records studios a half-dozen rappers in the room immediately started scribbling and wanted to jump on a remix which is floating around somewhere. To all you lonely single people out there, here, you're welcome and good luck! :)

WHAT CONSCIOUS WOMEN FIND SEXY IN A MAN

Women are not as hard to please as men think. We just crave a depth of character and soul that requires a man’s awareness and effort. Every woman wants a man who cares about being the best version of himself he can possibly be - THAT'S what's sexy!

Even if a man strives for his potential and doesn’t actualize it but TRIES and does the best he can, THAT IS HOT TOO!

It’s the men that don’t try, the men that don’t care, and require someone to whoop their ass into gear that are just as sad as Country Songs on repeat.

Evolved Women know what we want and don’t want. We’ve spent countless years and relationships figuring it out. So, let’s talk about the good stuff. Let’s talk about what Evolved women REALLY want in a man!

1). PRESENCE

The greatest gift you can give a woman is your presence. Presence is different than attention, it means your WHOLE BEING is engaged. Your heart and soul are in your eyes, emanating through every fiber of your being. A woman never has to wonder or ask where you are, she knows. She can feel you. You are right there, connected to yourself, nature, your masculine and the feminine, both within yourself and women. When you have presence you show up, drop in, invest and give of yourself.

A man with presence is connected to his soul and his heart and it shows. A man who has presence has so much presence that even when he is not with you, you know he’s with you.

2). HUMOR

Is there anything better than laughing until your sides hurt? A man who has a good sense of humor, who doesn’t take himself or life so seriously is a great asset to a woman. Life is full of heavy demands and things that weigh you down.

Humor allows a woman to see your wit, your take on life and the things that amuse you. The more you share your inner muse with a woman and let it rip, get her giggling and light, your dynamic will prosper. LET YOUR INNER COMEDIAN OUT.

3). R-E-S-P-E-C-T

A man who understands respect knows how to communicate and LISTEN. He operates from a place of respect for himself and is able to extend his respect outward to others more easily than a man who is not respected or feels threatened.

A respectful man is not ruled by his own selfish impulses. He is not afraid and he is able to act in a way that doesn’t violate a woman’s boundaries. If a woman asks a respectful man to honor her request he will without question. A man who respects himself doesn’t need to demand respect. He already has it.

4). PURPOSEFUL CONFIDENCE

When you are a man who embodies his warrior’s spirit you don’t whine when your ego gets bruised. You don’t blame and shout, “Well, what about women? What about all their flaws?”

When you embody your inner warrior you are a MAN who has harnessed his animal spirit and knows the sacredness of protecting the earth, women and children. A modern man who displays a Warrior Spirit is an Awakened Man.

When you are a warrior you are at peace with nature. You LOVE and HONOR women. You do not compete with women. A warrior fights for what is fundamentally right and doesn’t waste his time with nonsense arguments that only serve to sustain EGO.

A Warrior is a MAN of TRUE HONOR and INTEGRITY. He exists in every single man on this earth, but only a few have the COURAGE to activate the WARRIOR within. Women will stand next to Warrior’s till the end of time and will never stop looking for the Warrior in MEN. A warrior is a TRUE MAN.

5). SPIRIT & VISION

A man with vision wants to be the best version of himself and has a sense of pride in what he does. Women love men with vision because they care, they try and they're always working towards a better version of themselves.

There is nothing like a man who likes to have a good time, who wants to live a big life and craves adventure. A man with an adventurous spirit will get a woman out her comfort zone and dancing with the natives.

Life can get so monotonous and ordinary, but eventually it lacks the level of passion and intrigue you all seek to feel ALIVE. A man with an adventurous spirit is impassioned by life and experience, which bodes well for a woman who likes to live and taste the extraordinary.

6). WISDOM & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

A man with a mind and the ability to FEEL and articulate his emotions is the SEXIEST MAN ALIVE. A man who can self reflect and see a greater reality beyond himself is AWAKE. A man with an emotionally intelligent mind has vision, ideas, dreams, ambition, and drive.

These desires come from his heart and less from his head. A man with a mind is far more likely to be reasonable and intriguing. A man who talks and thinks, and wants to unravel and unearth things is magnetic and intoxicating to listen to.

7). ATTITUDE

Attitude is EVERYTHING to a woman. No matter what a woman throws at a man, if he’s got a good attitude he is less likely to be reactive and more like to get to the bottom of what is really going on. He doesn’t bark back like a baby, he tries to understand what is what and process the situation. He reads in between the lines and doesn’t take things as personally as reactive short tempered men.

Men with a good attitude typically have good style, taste, and they are NOT CHEAP. These men don’t cut corners. How they do anything is how they do everything and THEY KNOW IT and TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT AND HOW THEY DO WHAT THEY DO.

8). HE'S HANDY

A man who can fix it is SEXAY! A man who might not be great at something but tries anyway, or a man who might have far to grow but is willing to accept adversity and challenge and overcome obstacles is a CAPABLE MAN. Capable men are cat nip to women.

A man who can fix the most random things, or a man who knows how to create something out of nothing is like a magician. Fixing things is masculine and for some reason women find irresistible. A capable man who shows that he doesn’t need to be nagged to know what he must do is virtually irresistible.

9). HE HAS AN EDGE

Let’s face it, no one likes boring. No passion, no edge, no fire, no spice might as well be a cardboard cut out of a man. A man with no edge is like a wet towel on your fire. Women like men that keep them on their toes. A man with edge is up for anything. He’s not just some bump on a log on the couch night after night.

This one is no doormat. He’s the guy who is chasing you in the rain at 2 in the morning. He’s the guy who will get you to skinny dip anywhere. He is the kind of man that keeps it interesting and mixes it up. A man with an edge is strong willed and will take you to the ends of the earth.

Biggie Smalls Death: Notorious BIG Remembered 17 Years Later

By Jack Phillips, Epoch Times | March 9, 2014

Biggie Smalls, known as The Notorious B.I.G., was remembered on Sunday–16 years after his death.

Biggie, born Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in Los Angeles on March 9, 1997, after leaving an after-party hosted by Vibe magazine.

On Twitter, his death was remembered Saturday.

“Happy Biggie day to all the believers,” wrote one person.

Added another: “Exactly 17 years ago the world lost a genius. Rest in piece, Biggie Smalls.”

“R.I.P Biggie Smalls. You’ll always be one of the greatest! Rest in peace dawg. Your legends lives!” wrote another person on Twitter.

He achieved commercial and critical success with “Ready to Die,” considered a hip-hop classic.

Biggie was shot and killed while he was in a GMC Suburban with his entourage waiting at a red light. A black Chevrolet Impala SS pulled up next to the vehicle and the driver fired shots at the Suburban, with four shots hitting Biggie.

Biggie’s autopsy was released to the public in December 2012. According to the report, three of the four shots that he suffered weren’t fatal. However, the fourth bullet proved to be the one that killed Biggie, hitting several vital organs.

It’s unclear who shot him. He was 24 when he died.

BTW, song of a the day, a friend sent this to me and it's awesome, by Shannon Brown, the producer of India.Arie and others...

Producer Shannon Sanders Wants You to 'Man Up' (Full Video)

.

FYI, as a quick-thinker and fast-typer, these responses don't take me as long to write as you'd think.

.

On Facebook possibly banning gun-related pages...

.

Yeah, this is classic modern online censorship technique, or get a bunch of people addicted to your site along with all their friends in one of the places they hang out the most, then start subtly and overtly telling them what they can and can't tell each other. This ranges from what and how much you should post to make sure it's appropriate for the medium to outright banning things that people can choose to care about and share, heck I'm not even sure if this sized paragraph is appropriate for Facebook, I only know it's appropriate for humans to express themselves fully to make sure they feel heard and understood. Either way, as good as FB can be, this is mui sucky. On that note, for those who still believe in modern notions of gun control or even outright bans, including banning even talking about it, here's my 2 and 4 minute takes on the topic to open their minds to at least the idea that allowing people to discuss the issue on Facebook and elsewhere is a good idea...

And if that didn't getcha, here's another rhyme-salvo...

.

On CNN saying the world's $40 trillion in debt, "Who the f—k does the world owe? Jupiter?"

.

This is hilarious, but it's also a sign that the global bankster mafia are revealing themselves more openly after inculcating us with the idea that "debt" is "normal" in a majillion ways, from home loans to the magical US govt "debt ceiling" they've breached over and over and over again which is only a "crisis" when they want to sell us on one. While many people know about this especially by now, for years on my radio show and elsewhere I've spoken to people about this stuff. While many Canadians will acknowledge that we're around $500 billion in debt as a country and think we should pay it back, including hearing the PM's Throne Speeches where he pledges $50 billion a year or so towards it, most don't know "who" we owe the money to, nor about the idea that we have our own publicly owned Bank of Canada that can loan money to municipal, provincial and federal governments interest-free while backed by the resources of the country and good faith and credit of its' people, which is how we funded most of the country's infrastructure and more until Trudeau started borrowing from the international banksters in the 1960's. Stories like CNN's are just like most others in the sense that only bits of it will stay in most of our minds and habitualize us towards accepting long-planned austerity measures to cut costs and pay it back as is happening more aggressively in Europe and elsewhere, and as has happened in the Third World for decades after IMF/World Bank loans. Or, they'll say we're in debt and take most of our stuff as payment or collateral, then give or sort-of sell it to big corporations to manage and use it since banks don't really do anything but move money around. There's a great film by Stephanie Black called "Life & Debt" about what happened to Jamaica right after the Queen of Frikkin' England granted them independence, or they were immediately told they were broke and needed to modernize, then after being denied loans from everywhere else for what may be shady reasons, were forced to use the IMF/World Bank to borrow money, then forced to spend it in certain ways that benefited big banks and corporations more than the country, including taking rotten deals like buying a ton of rotting chicken from a US company that wanted to save money on throwing it out. Fascinating stuff, enjoy the film and looking into this stuff as you'd like since knowledge is power and we could all use more.

.

On women used by corporations and how to help them transcend their menial positions...

.

Interesting read D and for the most part I can agree, plus add my own take from stuff I was taken with that others shared. I even discussed this with a buddy last night. While allowing for exceptions and intelligence and strength and equivocacy and whatever the hell anybody else wants to think and say, generally speaking most women have been raised to be more concerned about doing things right than doing things different or better like most men are more culturally allowed to, which makes them more suited as shut-up and do-it-right labour in a variety of places that won't call bullsh-t even when any human should, often because they just don't do it as well or as often as men can, or could and used to back when men were less beaten down by social engineering and more scrappy. This may be why most of Ottawa's bureaucracy is women and the city is 70% chicks, who are fun and friendly by the way, so it's a great place to get laid and I highly recommend it, though the guys are eerily quiet as f--k just like we're all getting everywhere else. If he exists, or an uber-rich consortium of some kind, then it seems like "The Man" wants to put women in charge because they're easier to control and can in-turn control men so fewer humans are likely to call bullsh-t and fight back against any takeover, or for our rights, freedoms, money, families and more. While I can name 50 great modern female activists who are scrappier than most men and who I admire greatly, as my buddy and I said last night, you can count the historical "Joan of Arc's" on one hand while it would take a block's worth of hands, feet, fingers and toes to count the number of men who've been as iconoclastically scrappy. While this may be changing as more women get more opportunities, fundamentally they're just not as scrappy as men are for a variety of reasons, plus most prefer men who can kick their ass but don't and instead are happy to kick ass for them. Or, strong women need strong men or they don't feel so strong anyway. It seems like "The Man" is putting chicks in charge of the household in different ways than before, or no longer by using their charm to get their men turned on and turnt-up to do and get stuff for them, which leaves them charmless and us frustrated since they can't argue like us and more often blame us for making them feel bad or stupid, which leaves men kind of powerless and stuck. The same thing happened on the American black slave plantations where they put the women in charge of the families to keep the biggest and strongest black guys they could find in Africa and buy for $5000 each from deciding to go "screw this" and gang up and take a chance on kicking the ass of the old white guy on a horse with a gun and a whip miraculously controlling 10 of them or so, which they might do even if they calculated a couple might get killed trying since guys'll do that math easier when faced with being whipped, beaten and worked to death or that. Don't get me wrong in any way, I'm totally pro-women and like initiatives to educate and empower them, I'm just saying they could use some men to hang out with to make them feel better or else men look lost and women look stressed and both of us get sketchy and depressed. Anyway, I know what to do about this so holla if ya hear me... :)

2Pac: Holler If U Hear Me

.

On the growing prison industrial complex worldwide as a modern form of slavery...

.

Agreed D, it's been and is still getting nutz, especially with the privatization of prisons and shareholders demanding quarterly profit increases and bigger dividends every 3 months for packin' em in. I even heard about a judge who got $3 million in kick-backs over a few years for throwing juveniles into jail where the prisons could profit, or selling kids out just because he could. I also have problems with terms like "cheap labour" being used to disguise the real term of "cheap people", or people paid poorly for labour so corporations can get richer by enslaving them and enslaving us in being beholden to their goods while also destroying our value systems and demoralizing us by training us to accept this paradigm, which we have to if we want to "keep it happy" or "positive" all the time and never say anything negative, save for bitching about bits'o bullsh-t which only narrows our frame of reference and weakens us further. I've head the over 50% black prison population (despite them being 10% of America's) was a planned and cheaper replacement for slavery and even did an interview on it for CKLN where prison rights activist Connor McCollum explained how the Canadian system is very similar and how many big corporations from travel agencies to Starbucks use cheap prison labour and pay pennies on the dollar for the same labour they'd get outside the system. Here it is and as a follow-up I'm including a song I wrote years ago warning us to knock it off and grow a pair and grow up since we've "Gotta take the bile, outta bitchin' bout bullsh-t..."

Here ya go, for people getting too petty about their pissy lil' problems to stand themselves or for anyone to stand them and getting beaten down, a simple solution over beats...

On cops as tax-collecting parasites, or people with jobs to do like the rest of us somewhat parasitical types...

.

I don't exactly agree with the term "parasite" since I just see a man with a job to do even though it sucks sometimes like everyone else's. However, I do agree that unless they're called cops generally shouldn't get involved, including giving out speeding tickets from a quarter-mile away with a high-tech radar gun.

... and ...

Agreed Bruce, it's a mess top-to-bottom, especially when we're taxed over 50% of our income if you add 'em all up. I'm not saying there aren't parasites in the system, but if you expand the principle far enough we're all parasites in some way when it comes to a parasitical system, so I just pick and choose who to call what with an honest critique and eye on potential allies. Even when it came to something like the G20 Summit/Martial Law protestors in Toronto, while I respected their passion and intentions of making a difference, I was also on my radio show and elsewhere screaming "When the government invites you to a fight with the cops -- don't go! Pool your resources and share info with normal people for the short time you have to while the media is making them interested in this topic instead of just yelling "We're Really Mad!" and "We Already Know!" and getting beaten up and looking stupid on TV while everyone else hates you and the people you're fighting with!" Or, let the 20,000 cops get paid $50 bucks an hour to show up or lose their jobs do so, just don't play the game the chessmasters at the top are playing on both of us. Here, I even wrote a song screaming about it since I was mad as hell about scar it ripped into my city...

http://www.reverbnation.com/blackkrishna/song/4198837-black-krishna-f-k-a-protest

... and ...

Yup, no call no cop, unless it's completely obvious, but otherwise they should just float around and keep an eye on things. Heck, if we had more men and more guns we wouldn't need 'em, or at least not as many, plus we'd feel better and handle more 'ish too.

.

On a buddy who likes my music and who's putting it in and playing it in his iPod...

.

Thanks a lot brother, that's great to hear and I'm glad you like 'em. As I said to a buddy the other day, you'll just have a convo with your buddy if it's just some stuff you feel strong about, like a break-up and "Don't Cry" (Original or Alternative Version) by Guns'n'Roses for example, but music you make and put out for everyone to learn from, feel and enjoy too. I've been listening to more of my stuff since I'm getting back into rapping and singing and trying to remember my lyrics and working on new stuff too, and while I can find and cringe at some flaws, I have to admit I'm still my biggest fan and like it too, so hopefully my balls to love, hate, understand, feel and beef can help others. Or, as my buddy Padrone says, "You can't trust a man's love songs unless you can trust his fight songs, and you can't trust his fight songs unless you can trust his love songs", so hopefully we work on an appreciate both sides of a man trying to express himself, or woman for that matter, with whatever they're up to and whoever they are... :)

.

Excelsior! :)
