Why did they choose the headline: "DeLay Lawyer Has Beaten DA Before"

Because they want us to expect him to beat the charges?

Because they want us to see that as a reasonable outcome?

Because they want us busy people to remember the headline and nothing else?

Because they just installed a gay-tool faking being a "Good Christian Husband and Father" as Supreme Court Chief Justice by instructing him to avoid answering any questions that may suggest his own controversial opinions; and are so damned corrupt that they're going to re-rig the Supreme Court that installed Bush as President on a 5-4 decision in the year 2000 to ensure a dismantling of the U.S. Constitution and legally to enable a Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State?

Incidentally...

Remember Rovegate?

Plamegate?

Wilsongate?

Whatever...

The bottom line, if memory serves correct, is that the entire 2+ year investigation is set to expire in October, meaning that when it expires whoever hasn't yet been indicted won't be: including Karl Rove.

Tom Fitzgerald has thus far played it close to the chest, he hates the press, and yet has still been sold by them as a hard-nosed investigator who's fair as hell, and a demon in handing out deserving indictments across party lines to get to the the only thing he cares about as a man of integrity: the truth.

That was a lie.

DeLay Lawyer Has Beaten DA Before

By SUZANNE GAMBOA, Associated Press Writer Fri Sep 30,11:18 PM ET

AUSTIN, Texas - U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay's indictment sets up a rematch between a Texas prosecutor and an old rival who has beaten him before.

High-profile Houston lawyer Dick DeGuerin was pulled into the DeLay defense team as it became clear he would be indicted Wednesday. DeLay is accused of conspiring with two political associates to use corporate donations to support Texas legislative candidates.

DeGuerin quickly reminded the public he had been down a similar road with Travis County District Attorney Ronnie Earle.

"I represented Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison 12 years ago, and to me this seems like what Yogi Berra said: `It's deja vu all over again,'" DeGuerin said. "That was a political prosecution. This is a political prosecution."

Earle indicted Hutchison in 1993 after investigating whether she misused state employees and equipment and destroyed state documents while serving as Texas treasurer. Hutchison was acquitted of official misconduct and record tampering charges when Earle abruptly dropped the case in 1994.

Earle said then that he gave up the case because the trial judge would not rule in advance whether prosecutors could use evidence obtained in a controversial raid on state treasury offices. Hutchison's defenders contend his case failed because he didn't have one.

DeGuerin said he wants a trial by the end of the year for DeLay, a Sugar Land Republican who has stepped aside as majority leader because of the indictment.

DeGuerin is no stranger to the national limelight.

He represented David Koresh, head of the Branch Davidian cult whose members died in a fiery blaze at their Waco compound, which was raided by the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. DeGuerin attempted to negotiate a peaceful end to the 1993 siege of the compound after authorities tried to arrest Koresh.

DeGuerin last year won acquittal for millionaire Robert Durst, who was charged with the 2003 murder of a neighbor in Texas whose body he admitted dismembering. DeGuerin argued that Durst killed the man in self-defense.

Peter Jennings leaves estate of over $50 million

Sat Oct 1, 1:32 AM ET

NEW YORK (Reuters) - ABC News anchor Peter Jennings, who died of lung cancer in August, left an estate valued at more than $50 million, most of which was willed to his fourth wife and to two children from a previous marriage.

Jennings, 67, signed the will on April 21, 2005, 16 days after announcing on his World news Tonight program he had been diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. He died on August 7 in New York.

His will, filed for probate this week in New York's Surrogate Court, lists $50 million in personal property and $3.5 million in property in New York.

Besides leaving his widow, producer Kayce Freed, 50 percent of the "net marital estate," she also got their Central Park West apartment.

Jennings has appointed trustees to handle the distribution of funds for his two children, Elizabeth, 25, and Christopher, 23. Both children were from his third marriage to author Kati Marton, which ended in divorce.

He also left assets valued at $1 million to the Peter Jennings Foundation, a charity he founded in 1998 that gives money to fight homelessness, drug addiction, illiteracy and hunger.

Besides stock and real estate, Jennings' assets included ownership of a race horse, Channel's Gate and another horse, named Cabin Fever.

BONUS: Gorgeous George vs. The $7 million Man...

A 'Good Night' for Clooney & O'Reilly to bond

George Clooney and Bill O'Reilly remain the best of enemies.

Media-dog watchers worried that the long-running feud between the actor and the Fox News scourge had cooled last week when O'Reilly was invited to a VIP screening of "Good Night and Good Luck," Clooney's movie about the 1953-54 clash between CBS eminence Edward R. Murrow and Communist-hunting Sen. Joseph McCarthy.

The two combatants were seen chatting pleasantly at the event, which drew the likes of Walter Cronkite, Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather, Brian Williams, Morley Safer, Harry K. Smith and Andy Rooney.

"O'Reilly actually said some nice things about the movie," Clooney told us Friday at the opening night of the New York Film Festival.

This comes as high praise indeed, considering that the movie's archival footage of McCarthy reminds some people of the "No Spin" pundit. The U.K.'s Guardian newspaper wrote, "You don't have to squint too hard to recognize O'Reilly — who makes it his business to shout down and then de-mike his guests on the air — in the hectoring robot-voiced McCarthy."

Clooney thinks O'Reilly is untroubled by comparisons with McCarthy because "he sees himself as "Murrow, like a lot of broadcasters."

And, in fact, Clooney thinks it unfair to compare O'Reilly and McCarthy.

"Unlike McCarthy," a broadly grinning Clooney told us, "O'Reilly was never elected to public office. What's more, Joe McCarthy was never accused of telling one of his female staff members she should use a vibrator" — one of the sex-harassment claims former Fox News associate producer Andrea Mackris made against O'Reilly, who denied her allegations. A Fox News spokeswoman said that O'Reilly would have no comment on Clooney's latest tweak. But we feel one of his "Back of the Book" commentaries coming on.

Fuckin' off cash that I make,

Bustin' niggas out the door,
Pick my money off the floor,

Starin...

Niggaz is callin cops, people shot, nobody stop,
I wonder when the world stopped caring, last night?
Two kids shot, while the whole block, staring?

First they try, to murder me,
Then they lie to me, product of a dying breed,
All my homiez trying weed,
Now the little baby's crazed, raised off Hennesey,
Tell me will my enemies-
Flee, when they see me?
Believe me,
Even Thugs gotta learn to take it easy...
Listen,
Through intermissions, search your heart for a plan,
We turnin' Bad Boys to grown men, it's on again,
I give a holla to my niggaz, in the darkest corners,
Roll a perfect blunt, and let me spark it for ya,

Army Faces Worst Recruiting Slump in Years

By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer 2 hours, 44 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - The Army is closing the books on one of the leanest recruiting years since it became an all-volunteer service three decades ago, missing its enlistment target by the largest margin since 1979 and raising questions about its plans for growth.

Many in Congress believe the Army needs to get bigger — perhaps by 50,000 soldiers over its current 1 million — in order to meet its many overseas commitments, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Army already is on a path to add 30,000 soldiers, but even that will be hard to achieve if recruiters cannot persuade more to join the service.

Officials insist the slump is not a crisis.

Michael O'Hanlon, a defense analyst at the Brookings Institution think tank, said the recruiting shortfall this year does not matter greatly — for now.

"The bad news is that any shortfall shows how hard it would be to increase the Army's size by 50,000 or more as many of us think appropriate," O'Hanlon said. "We appear to have waited too long to try."

The Army has not published official figures yet, but it apparently finished the 12-month counting period that ends Friday with about 73,000 recruits. Its goal was 80,000. A gap of 7,000 enlistees would be the largest — in absolute number as well as in percentage terms — since 1979, according to Army records.

The Army National Guard and the Army Reserve, which are smaller than the regular Army, had even worse results.

The active-duty Army had not missed its target since 1999, when it was 6,290 recruits short; in 1998 it fell short by 801, and in 1995 it was off by 33. Prior to that the last shortfall was in 1979 when the Army missed by 17,054 during a period when the Army was much bigger and its recruiting goals were double today's.

Army officials knew at the outset that 2005 would be a tough year to snag new recruits. By May it was obvious that after four consecutive months of coming up short there was little chance of meeting the full-year goal.

A summertime surge of signups offered some hope the slump may be ending. An Army spokesman, Lt. Col. Bryan Hilferty, said that despite the difficulties, recruiters were going full speed as the end of fiscal year 2005, Sept. 30, arrived.

"We have met the active Army's monthly recruiting goals since June, and we expect to meet it for September, which sends us into fiscal year 2006 on a winning streak," Hilferty said. He also noted that the Army has managed to meet its re-enlistment goals, even among units that have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

But there are compelling reasons to think that Army recruiters are heading into a second consecutive year of recruiting shortfalls.

The outlook is dimmed by several key factors, including:

• The daily reports of American deaths in Iraq and the uncertain nature of the struggle against the insurgency have put a damper on young people's enthusiasm for joining the military, according to opinion surveys.

• The Army has a smaller-then-usual reservoir of enlistees as it begins the new recruiting year on Saturday. This pool comes from what the Army calls its delayed-entry program in which recruits commit to join the Army on condition that they ship to boot camp some months later.

Normally that pool is large enough at the start of the recruiting year to fill one-quarter of the Army's full-year need. But it has dwindled so low that the Army is starting its new recruiting year with perhaps only 5 percent "in the bank." The official figure on delayed entry recruits has not been released publicly, although Gen. Peter Schoomaker, the Army chief of staff, has said it is the smallest in history.

The factors working against the Army, Hilferty said, are a strong national economy that offers young people other choices, and "continued negative news from the Middle East." To offset that the Army has vastly increased the number of recruiters on the street, offered bigger signup bonuses and boosted advertising.

Charles Moskos, a military sociologist at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill., said in an interview that the Army would attract more recruits if it could offer shorter enlistments than the current three-year norm.

As it stands, the Army faces a tough challenge for the foreseeable future.

"The future looks even grimmer. Recruiting is going to get harder and harder," Moskos said.

1986: Coal mine canaries made redundant

More than 200 canary birds are being phased out of Britain's mining pits, according to new plans by the government.

Modern technology is being favoured over the long-serving yellow feathered friend of the miner in detecting harmful gases which may be present underground.

New electronic detectors will replace the bird because they are said to be cheaper in the long run and more effective in indicating the presence of pollutants in the air otherwise unnoticed by miners.

The gas detectors will be hand-held and carry a digital reading which appears on a screen alerting miners to the extent of the gases.

The birds' replacement will be introduced gradually next year.

Miners are said to be saddened by the latest set of redundancies in their industry but do not intend to dispute the decision.

The removal of the canaries will end a mining tradition in Britain dating back to 1911, since when two canaries have been employed by each pit.

Signs of distress

They are so ingrained in the culture miners report whistling to the birds and coaxing them as they worked, treating them as pets.

The canary is particularly sensitive to toxic gases such as carbon monoxide which is colourless, odourless and tasteless.

This gas could easily form underground during a mine fire or after an explosion.

Following a mine fire or explosion, mine rescuers would descend into the mine, carrying a canary in a small wooden or metal cage.

Any sign of distress from the canary was a clear signal the conditions underground were unsafe and miners should be evacuated from the pit and the mineshafts made safer.

Experts Say IRA Has Criminal Empire

By SHAWN POGATCHNIK, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 2 minutes ago

BELFAST, Northern Ireland - The Irish Republican Army may no longer want to fight the British, but detectives say it's still in business — as owners of pubs and clubs, smugglers of fuel and cigarettes, bank robbers by night and property investors by day.

Throughout the past 35 years of conflict over this British territory, the IRA has built a sophisticated criminal empire throughout Ireland and beyond, laundering profits through legitimately owned businesses and properties worth more than $400 million, anti-racketeering experts say.

Now that weapons inspectors have announced the IRA's disarmament, the political focus has turned to whether the underground group will renounce crime, too.

The British and Irish governments say political progress depends on reports being published in October and January from the Independent Monitoring Commission. Both governments formed the four-man panel — which includes a former top CIA official — chiefly to publicize IRA activities.

If these experts rule that the IRA is withdrawing from criminal activity, Britain and Ireland say negotiations should resume to revive the cornerstone of Northern Ireland's 1998 peace accord: power-sharing between the British Protestant majority and Sinn Fein, the IRA-linked party.

Even the most ardent advocates of power-sharing say the IRA's criminal power has become the new deal-breaker. But IRA experts warn that the group is not about to cede control to common criminals.

"The IRA's criminal activity will be hard to hide but easy to deny," said Ed Moloney, author of "A Secret History of the IRA," who forecast that IRA racketeering "may even intensify."

Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, a veteran IRA commander who denies ever being a member, has repeatedly said IRA activity cannot be described as crime. At his most recent party conference in March, Adams said Sinn Fein would "refuse to criminalize those who break the law in pursuit of legitimate political objectives."

Irish Justice Minister Michael McDowell, who is regularly briefed on IRA activity by the anti-terrorist and anti-racketeering branches of the Garda Siochana, Ireland's national police force, called Sinn Fein's line on IRA crime "a massive lie of Orwellian proportions."

Other politicians fear that Sinn Fein, growing rapidly in both parts of Ireland, derives an undemocratic advantage from deep IRA pockets. They note the party's ability to produce exceptional volumes of literature, posters and campaign workers at election time.

Sinn Fein says it negotiates better deals on printing, has an army of unpaid volunteers and publishes financial statements showing party coffers in the red.

Some analysts do not buy this.

"Using the proceeds of that IRA empire, Sinn Fein has a plan to buy its way into power in Ireland," said Kevin Toolis, author of "Rebel Hearts: A Journey Into the IRA's Soul."

Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau, the United Kingdom Assets Recovery Agency and the Police Service of Northern Ireland estimate that IRA rackets generate more than $20 million annually.

Those assessments exclude four massive Belfast robberies last year that police chiefs, the British and Irish governments and the Independent Monitoring Commission blamed on the IRA.

In December, a hostage-taking gang stole the equivalent of $50 million from the Northern Bank — a theft so colossal, at a moment of such relative peace, that IRA crime became a dominant political issue for the first time.

Police in February arrested more than a dozen IRA suspects, lawyers, accountants and loan sharks during raids across the Irish Republic. They seized more than $6 million worth of British bank notes.

Two detectives in the investigation, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the press, said they suspect the IRA tried to plow Northern Bank loot into property in Britain and Bulgaria with guidance from Phil Flynn, a former Sinn Fein vice president and labor-union boss who most recently was chairman of the Irish division of the Bank of Scotland.

Flynn openly admits pursuing investments in Bulgaria on behalf of the man caught with most of February's money. Although Flynn resigned from several prominent business and government advisory posts, he denies any wrongdoing.

The difficulty of bringing the IRA to justice is personified by IRA chief of staff Thomas "Slab" Murphy, who has never been convicted of any crime. Prosecutors offered police surveillance and forensic evidence in several trials they said showed that Murphy's South Armagh unit constructed and delivered most of the IRA's biggest vehicle bombs.

For two decades, Murphy has run a fuel-smuggling business from his farm straddling the Irish border. A 1999 best-seller, "Bandit Country" by Toby Harnden, described Murphy's smuggling techniques, which include fuel tanks on both sides of the border connected by pipelines.

When an Associated Press reporter drove past Murphy's farm last week, one oil tanker had just driven to the gate, while a second was parked beside his home.

Customs officials' probes have repeatedly fizzled out, partly because Murphy has repeatedly founded and folded companies — and partly because nobody dares testify against him.

Murphy in 1998 lost a libel lawsuit against a British newspaper, The Sunday Times, that reported on his IRA and smuggling exploits. Eight months later, the pivotal witness against Murphy, former IRA member Eamon Collins, was clubbed and stabbed to death, his face butchered beyond recognition.

Murphy, who has never given an interview, could not be reached for comment.

Police say while the IRA has cleared out its major weapons dumps, it has retained at least 100 handguns shipped from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Ireland in 1999.

Anthony McIntyre, a disillusioned ex-IRA member, says his IRA neighbors in Catholic west Belfast have no intention of disbanding, and will use their small arms to fend off unwelcome competition from criminal rivals.

"The IRA will continue to function," McIntyre said. "Not militarily against the British state, but as a militia to give muscle to Sinn Fein and as an organ of intimidation."

Senate Confirms Roberts As Chief Justice

By JESSE J. HOLLAND, Associated Press Writer 15 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - John Glover Roberts Jr. won confirmation as the 17th chief justice of the United States Thursday, overwhelmingly approved by the Senate as the jurist to lead the Supreme Court through turbulent social issues for generations to come.

The Senate voted 78-22 to confirm Roberts — a 50-year-old U.S. Appeals judge from the Washington suburb of Chevy Chase, Md. — as the successor to the late William H. Rehnquist, who died earlier this month.

All of the Senate's majority Republicans, and about half of the Democrats, voted for Roberts.

Underscoring the rarity of a chief justice's confirmation, senators answered the roll by standing one by one at their desks as their names were called, instead of voting and leaving the chamber.

Roberts is the first new Supreme Court justice since 1994. Before becoming a federal judge, Roberts was one of the nation's best appellate lawyers, arguing 39 cases — many in front of the same eight justices he will now lead as chief justice.

He won 25 of those cases.

Roberts watched the Senate vote on television from the White House's Roosevelt Room.

He and his wife Jane, were to have lunch with President Bush and first lady Laura Bush, followed by a swearing-in ceremony with the president at the White House, so Roberts could take his seat in time for the new court session Monday. Justice John Paul Stevens was administering the oath.

Under Roberts, justices will tackle issues like assisted suicide, campaign finance law and abortion this year, with questions about religion, same-sex marriage, the government's war on terrorism and human cloning looming in the future.

"With the confirmation of John Roberts, the Supreme Court will embark upon a new era in its history, the Roberts era," said Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., whose 55 GOP members unanimously voted for the multimillionaire judge. "And for many years to come, long after many of us have left public service, the Roberts court will be deliberating on some of the most difficult and fundamental questions of U.S. law."

Twenty-two Democrats opposed Roberts, saying he could turn out to be as conservative as justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, the Supreme Court anchors on the right.

"At the end of the day, I have too many unanswered questions about the nominee to justify confirming him to this lifetime seat," said Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid of Nevada.

Anti-abortion and abortion rights activists both have their hopes pinned on Roberts, a former government lawyer in the Reagan and first Bush administrations. While Roberts is solidly conservative and his wife, Jane, volunteers for Feminists for Life, both sides were eager to see how he will vote on abortion cases.

Roberts told senators during his Senate Judiciary Committee confirmation hearings that past Supreme Court rulings carry weight, including the Roe v. Wade decision that legalized abortion in 1973. He also said he agreed with the 1965 Supreme Court ruling in Griswold v. Connecticut that established the right of privacy in the sale and use of contraceptives.

But he tempered that by saying Supreme Court justices can overturn rulings.

During four days of sometimes testy questioning by Democrats, Roberts refused to hint how he would rule on cases.

"If the Constitution says that the little guy should win, then the little guy's going to win in the court before me," Roberts told senators. "But if the Constitution says that the big guy should win, well then the big guy's going to win because my obligation is to the Constitution."

Over and over, he has assured lawmakers his rulings would be guided by his understanding of the facts of cases, the law and the Constitution, not by his personal views. "My faith and my religious beliefs do not play a role," said Roberts, who is Catholic.

Roberts' confirmation brings the number of Catholics on the court to a historic high of four. The Roman Catholic Church strongly opposes abortion.

Democrats, even as they complained about his Reagan-era opinions and the White House's refusal to release his paperwork from the George H.W. Bush administration, acknowledged his brilliance and judicial demeanor.

"I've taken him at his word that he does not have an ideological agenda and he will be his own man as chief justice ," said Sen. Patrick Leahy (news, bio, voting record) of Vermont, the top Democrat on the Senate Judiciary.

Republicans showered praise on Roberts, and said the justices on the court like him too. "There have already been indications from members of the court about their liking the fact that Judge Roberts is going to be the new chief justice," said Judiciary Committee chairman Arlen Specter, R-Pa., who shepherded the nomination out of his committee on a 13-5 vote.

Roberts has the potential of leading the Supreme Court for decades. Not since John Marshall, confirmed in 1801 at 45, has there been a younger chief justice.

Roberts also will hold a record of sorts — nominated to succeed two different Supreme Court justices within seven weeks. Bush originally named him to succeed retiring Justice Sandra Day O'Connor in July. Rehnquist's death led to the second nomination on Sept. 6, and Roberts now will be confirmed as chief justice while O'Connor remains on the court until the president selects a new replacement.

Democrats already were warning the White House not to nominate a conservative ideologue to replace O'Connor. Bush was expected to announce the nominee soon.

"While this nomination did not warrant an attempt to block the nominee on the floor of the Senate, the next one might," Sen. Charles Schumer (news, bio, voting record), D-N.Y., said.

Roberts is married to lawyer Jane Sullivan Roberts, and has two adopted children, ages 4 and 5.

He grew up in Long Beach, Ind., working summers in the same steel mill where his father was an electrical engineer. After graduating with honors from Harvard University — both as an undergraduate and in law school — he clerked for Rehnquist on the Supreme Court.

Bohemian Grove Employee Blows the Whistle on Inside Events

Infowars | September 29 2005
By Steve Watson & Alex Jones

Yesterday Alex Jones was joined on air by a guest who worked inside Bohemian Grove and got up close and personal with the macabre rituals of the elite and their homosexual tendencies. These new revelations have been heard nowhere else.

"Kyle" has worked at the Grove for their Spring Jinx for the "neophytes", the newcomers or outsiders, and for the official fifteen day Summer encampment festival.

The Grove is a private 2,700 acre redwood retreat on the Russian River in Sonoma County, California. Described as the "Greatest Men's Party on Earth," the members of the Bohemian Club and international elites have been gathering in their redwoods for over 100 years. Regular visitors include the Bushes, Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Newt Gingrich, whilst past luminaries have included Former Presidents Regan and Nixon, together BEFORE they had even taken office..

The most famous ritual that occurs at the Grove every year is the Symbolic Pagan Worship of Molech–the ‘god’ of Child Sacrifice. A bound effigy is burned in a "Cremation of Care" ceremony under a 40ft Stone Owl. Remember that political figureheads from around the world attend this sacrifice ceremony. German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt wrote of his fondness for the Grove ceremonies in his Biography "Men and Power". If your neighbours were doing this in their back yard wouldn't you be slightly concerned? These people are making decisions that have global repercussions.

The Camp at the Grove is riddled with imagery of death, sacrifice, skulls and Owls, as is the Club's Headquarters in San Francisco.

LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT THE OCCULT PRACTICES AT THE BOHEMIAN GROVE

This all sounds bizarre and incredible, you couldn't make it up. Yet we have seen again and again how elite figures are obsessed with these kinds of activities. We have a full archive and Alex has infiltrated and made a full length feature film on the occult rituals that take place on an annual basis at the elite hideaway at the Bohemian Grove.

There are many offshoots of the Bohemian Club, The most famous US branch is the "Brotherhood of Death" known as Skull and Bones, members of which include Both Bushes and recent Democratic nominee John kerry.

In the past members have bragged about how far reaching plans are hatched and policies set within the grove, such as the Star Wars defense initiative and the Manhattan Project.

"Kyle" went on record as saying he witnessed Colin Powell, Justice Clarance Thomas, Governor of New Mexico Bill Richardson all in attendance at this year's encampment.

The most honored guests reside in one of 119 camps known as Mandalay and rarely venture down to the dining circle of the Grove. Even other Grove members are not allowed to go near this camp without an invitation.

"Kyle" entered the Grove, without knowing anyone else in there, after an interview at the Grove in April. Immediately he took the chance to sneak around by driving in beyond the security gate which was at the time unattended. At this point the security was not overwhelming as there were no luminaries inside.

"Kyle" then described driving up to the lake area and getting a close up view of the 40ft Stone Owl.

Upon returning to begin work at the annual "Spring Jinx" "Kyle" witnessed the extensive use of biometric scanning equipment. Employees now have to hand scan to gain entry and to leave the Grove. It seems that security has been stepped up since Alex Jones infiltrated over five years ago. The members are able to forego this scanning and simply have ID cards.

Alex snook in through the undergrowth before the main entrance to the grove. "Kyle" stated that there are now motion sensors all over that area to prevent any new would-be intruders.

"Kyle" described how the employees at the Grove are segregated in separate areas and have to wear different color coded badges.

He then went on to describe how as one of the younger men in there, he was approached numerous times by men in their 50s, 60s and 70s and asked if he "slept around".

LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT THE OCCULT PRACTICES AT THE BOHEMIAN GROVE

We have previously exposed how members of the grove have both male and female prostitutes and even gay porn stars flown in for the Summer camp. Former President Richard Nixon is on record questioning the activities at the Grove, making reference to the debase, decadent attitude as well as the homosexual activity there.

"Kyle" went on to reveal how as well as containing lots of Satanic themed imagery, the Grove is also very Pagan in nature. There is a large statue of the Godess Diana, the main Circle is named Diana, there are buses named Diana, Old Druid and hamadryad (From Greek/Roman mythology - A wood nymph who lives only as long as the tree of which she is the spirit lives or a King Cobra) which is one of the high priests in the Cremation of Care ceremony.

Cremation Of Care Ceremony

"Kyle" described how he managed to find the building in which garb for the main Cremation of Care ceremony was housed. He filmed inside with his small camera with two hands but was so on edge that you can see he is physically shaking.

"Kyle" described how he saw multiple "effigies" for use in the Cremation of Care Ceremony in addition to the one inside the Hollow Stone Owl. There is a body that they drive in on a hearse, one that is rowed across the lake by the grim reaper and a third that is burned in the Molech Owl.

He also described how prior to the ceremony he managed to get inside the Owl and witnessed electrical equipment presumably for use during the ceremony for fireworks or to light the fire and burn the effigy.

According to "Kyle" the Cremation of Care ceremony has altered only slightly since Alex caught it on video. There were some new effects and a different voice over for "care". Previously the voice had been reported as Walter Kronkite, yet "Kyle" reported that Kronkite, one of the "Hillbillies" along with the Bushes was there but was not in good health.

"Kyle" has managed to get around five hours of video and 50 photos in the Grove with the use of a pen camera. This footage will be included in a re-release of Alex's Dark Secrets Inside Bohemian Grove. The first showing of this will be at the Downtown Alamo Drafthouse in Austin on the 9th of October, with a follow up the day after.

Plan BK: The Solutions - "Fuck Tha Police"? Fuck You: We NEED the police who live in our communities on our side RIGHT NOW.

"Fuck tha police!"

- NWA, "Fuck Tha Police"

"I shot the sheriff..."

- Bob Marley, "I Shot The Sheriff"

"Woop-woop!
That's the sound of da police!
Woop-woop!
That's the sound of the beast!"

- KRS One, "Sound Of Da Police"

"Watch the police, coming straight from the underground,
Watch the police, Murder got it bad cause I'm brown,
Watch the police, if you a teenager (Watch, watch)
Watch the police, nigga, better goal, and a pager..."

- C-Murder & Trick Daddy, "Watch the Police"

"Cop killer, better you than me!
I'm a Cop killer, fuck police brutality!
Cop killer, I know your family's grievin'
(Fuck 'em!)
Cop killer, but tonight we get even..."

- Ice-T, "Cop Killer"

(...)

"I ain't sayin' I hate cops-
'Cause that's-
Bullshit!

But when they step outta line-
We push 'em back-
A bit!"

- Black Krishna, "When You Ride With The Justus League"

(...)

No disrespect to the artists above, and all the others who've hated-on police throughout history, but I got my own shit.

While I haven't taken my fair share of beatdowns yet, I know we all certainly know what type of corruption they are capable of: Hollywood even makes MOVIES about it for Godssakes!

(See: Training Day, Serpico, Biggie and Tupac...)

But, I'm sorry hip hop, I'm sorry art, activism and literature...

It's a new day: and a new danger.

In a violation of Posse Comitatus, the 1878 law entrenched in U.S. Constitution that expressly forbids this as a safeguard against tyranny: the military are taking over domestically for the police.

(...)

What does that mean?

That means they can drag a soldier over from Guam who doesn't give a crap about the city or community or country, has no ties to it, no friends, no family, no kids in school, no nothing, and who's been patiently hunting local darkies like dodo's and just killing time until the big putsch...

NOW.

(...)

In New Orleans...

FEMA cut a local sheriff's office communications lines.

He put them back up.

FEMA cut them again.

He put them back up.

He then posted armed guards to keep FEMA from getting near them.

(...)

"Fuck tha police?"

Tha police are fucked.

(...)

The fact that we don't "know" or rather "believe" it (same shit when it comes to watching the news anyway) is key to how capable they are of carrying out a martial law takeover of America: the big prize, the big enchilada, the biggest military in the world ready to pursue endles wars for global domination.

Or just blow everything up.

Honestly, I'm not sure.

Better ask the Big Owl at Bohemian Grove.

Or the Skull and Bones at Skull and Bones.

Or the One-Eyed Monster of the IlluminaTommyLee.

(hee-hee!)

(...)

Whatever...

It doesn't really matter whether you believe that these assholes are getting their direction from the Secret Societies they belong to.

That doesn't matter.

What matters is what the members of those Secret Societies are doing to us.

That we can see clearly: this planet sucks.

In fact...

In over a year of absorbing insanity like a Big Brown Bounty, I haven't heard yet that "the first black President", Bill Clinton, that ol' po'boy classless ghetto-cracka' raised in a whorehouse, is in fact a member of any of them.

I wouldn't mind checkin' his new crib in Harlem to make sure.

Hmph.

Maybe he can email me my ghetto pass and we can go mack chix at the Apollo...

(...)

And in fact...

As investigative journalist (and my hero! swoon! :) Seymour Hersh said: "You know, I like Bill Clinton better than the other guys, and really, he was the first President since World War II to bomb white people."

(In Kosovo. Yugoslavia? Remember? Bueller?)

And I mean, c'mon...

The planet didn't suck as hard back then...

...irrespective of whether or not Monica did.

(...)

So: while all Presidents will kiss military-industrial-complex ass a bit to avoid getting JFucKin' killed, we can clearly see that bombing Kosovo (vs. Afghanistan), the Sudan (vs. Iraq), Oklahoma (vs. New York), and letting Rwanda (vs. Sudan) kill itself isn't quite as bad as the Neo-Continuity of endless wars and domestic enslavement planned by the current bright-eyed and Bushy-tailed badasses in charge.

I see the total body count using acts of aggression as less than 100,000 people, not bad at all for 8 years of an American Presidency.

Clinton slowed the game down: Bush is making all of us play.

(...)

So, what about the police?

Well, the slave-shit we've been beefin' on has been fomented for a while now, and ever since we let Officer Friendly turn into Officer Deadly, we've merely endorsed their ability to fracture communities.

Really, if you live in the same place you shouldn't beef with your neighbors on anything more than yelling at them to scoop up their dog-poop or return your lawnmower.

Or whatever.

That type of crap.

But...

Training cops to racial profile while decreasing their personal presence in and loyalty to their respective communities has us whining like slaves and scared shitless. These are "people" or "humans" we once would invite into our houses for a cup of coffee to discuss a donation to The Policemen's Ball and that rascally Peeping Tom.

Maybe I'm idealizing a bit...

But...

We've still got a trump card: most of them live here.

Wherever your "here" is, the cops who run the block are probably off-duty chillin' in trackpants while drinkin' a beer and barbecuing.

And their friends are there.

And their wife.

And their kids.

And it'd be crappy not to take 'em to soccer practice...

(...)

I've talked to cops in my 'hood on this tip, and my city for that matter, without going into specifics so far. You can flex how you wanna, but at the end of the day the only ties to powerful local security we have are those with our local police forces: they are trained to "Serve and Protect"; the army is trained to "Kill People and Break Things" (Alex Jones).

We've got to re-establish ties with the police on a massive scale.

Just say "Hi!", just say "Thanks!", just randomly re-establish a HUMAN connection with them irrespective of whether or not you believe it at the time: you'll feel better just because they treated you well and you didn't get shot.

(Note: If you get shot, I sincerely apologize.)

(...)

People are completely nuts.

A buddy's wife (a friend of mine too) said about New Orleans: "It's not even worth it to fix it with all the damage and how much it costs, they should just leave it."

Once I mentioned that if our city was busted she'd want it fixed, she quickly quieted down.

(...)

Get to your city now before it's busted and militarized, and get to your cops now before they have no public support for letting them do their jobs and telling the military to butt-out.

This is not giving them carte blanche to continue bad-policing: the process itself will lead to re-establishing closer community ties, better policing, and a better world.

(...)

Saying "Fuck Tha Police", as catchy as it sounds, hasn't worked to finish fixing the problem.

"Find Tha Police", and see what you can do.

BONUS: Or move to Guam, whatever...

Martial Law: Police State America - We're So Close Now

Special Report:Katrina/Rita Fallout Part One

Infowars | September 27, 2005
By Steve Watson

For years we have warned that the police state is coming, how Martial Law will become the norm, how ancient laws, rights and freedoms are being overturned and replaced with repressive mechanisms of control.

For years we have presented the evidence, the Army War College documents, the domestic military takeover drills, the draconian legislation, officials left right and centre calling for more centralized military control domestically.

For years people refuted the evidence, or passed it off as being intended for something else, or simply refused to believe it. Now everything we warned you about is happening.

In the wake of the recent natural disasters on American soil, dangerous precedents have been set. We have been forced to watch how in times of crisis we must submit and follow the orders of Federal Commanders, no matter whether they deny us basic human rights or not.

Whether it be a state attack, a terrorist attack, an accident or a natural disaster matters not anymore, the outcome will be the same. We are just one event, ANY event away from Martial Law.

MARTIAL LAW is HERE!

Getting rid of Posse Comitatus - Setting the precedent

“In a police state the police are national, powerful, authoritarian. Inevitably, national governments yield to the temptation to use the military to do the heavy lifting….once the military is used, however minor initially, the march toward martial law … becomes irresistible.” - Representative Ron Paul of Texas - June 25 1997.

The Posse Comitatus Act is a recognition that the framers of the Constitution had a deep distrust of centralized power, particularly centralized military power that might be used against the people. State militias were preferred over a national army. In times of major disaster or emergency, it has been state governors - not the president - who call out that state's contingent of the national guard.

We have witnessed over a long period of time how Posse Comitatus is systematically being erased. After 9/11 this was particularly accelerated. All the so called "experts" were calling for changes to long standing laws, in order to "protect" us. This led to scores of lower level Government officials pleading for exactly what the criminal elements higher up wanted all along.

Take the following AP report from November 2001:

"Our way of life has forever changed," wrote Sen. John Warner, R-Va., in a letter last month to Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. "Should this law now be changed to enable our active-duty military to more fully join other domestic assets in this war against terrorism?"

So let's get this right, "terrorists" attack us because they "hate our freedoms" and the answer is to get rid of our freedoms?

Here's another mainstream report from 2002 documenting a senators call to abolish Posse Comitatus and let troops arrest US civilians.

Here's former Homeland Security dictator Tom Ridge saying the same thing. And here he is saying it again.

But before the war on terror it was clear that there was preparation afoot for such eventualities. Nothing is under review, this has always been the agenda. They were erasing Posse Comitatus 14 Years Ago. In 911: The Road to Tyranny Alex Jones presents footage of troops training to put Americans into Concentration Camps. This footage includes interrogations and a retired Marine admitting that in 1988 he was kicking down doors in Norfolk, Virginia. The Marines would be ordered to the local Police station where they would don Police uniforms. They would then go to the local gun shop or dealers home and "Take Them Down."

In Alex Jones' feature Police State 2000 he covers Operation Urban Warrior where actors posed as American citizens who were Unconstitutionally seized from their homes by the military and police. These Americans: were rounded up and confined behind barbed-wire.

The actors were told to demand to be let free and state that they had rights. They were also told to demand food and water.

The troops in turn were taught to ignore them and to order them to behave in an orderly fashion. "Civil disobedience will not be tolerated" was one of the many disturbing statements heard to emanate from the military's loud speakers.

Over the years there have been countless drills of this nature. The media simply reports them as training for dealing with foreign enemies, yet the volunteers and the participants are always told differently.

Here's a report on another urban warfare drill entitled "The Millennium Challenge 2002". This drill was conducted secretly across 26 States in 2002.

Earlier this year details of just one of many Military operations on American soil was exposed in the run up to Lord Bush's coronation. A secret counterterrorism program code-named Power Geyser. A small group of super-secret commandos were hidden among 13000 police and troops and "stood ready with state-of-the-art weaponry to swing into action.".

There have been literally hundreds of these kind of operations in the planning and going on for years now. Many designed to use the military on the streets of American cities in direct violation of Posse Comitatus. The Pentagon has a full Command in operation working on these activities, the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

MARTIAL LAW is HERE!

Whilst Studying US COIN (Counter Insurgency) doctrine at University I was subjected to weekly showings of videos where military operations were carried out in purpose built mock American towns and cities. We were also informed of how future Counter Insurgency would be predominantly conducted from Military bunkers as they had developed the technology to map out entire cities to pinpoint accuracy from satellite images. The cities in the prototypes were of course all American cities.

I remember asking the lecturer what the point was in developing this technology for use in foreign insurgency wars in places such as the mountains of Afghanistan, and why were the drills and testing of the technology being carried out purely in American towns and cities. The answer was of course that in the event of a major terror attack on US soil these types of things would go into operation. The Pentagon does indeed have "War Plans" drafted in the event of any type of terror attack, which would be coordinated by Northcom in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and would involve Martial Law and thousands of troops on the streets.

According to respected military affairs analyst William Arkin, Northcom has defined three levels of operations, each of which triggers a larger set of authorized activities.

The levels are "extraordinary", "emergency" and "temporary". During emergencies, the military can provide similar support, mostly in response to specific events such as the attacks on the World Trade Center. It is only in the case of extraordinary domestic operations that the unique capabilities of the Defense Department are deployed. These include not just such things as air patrols to shoot down hijacked planes or the defusing of bombs and other explosives, but also bringing in intelligence collectors, special operators and even full combat troops.

But as Arkin's article makes clear, Northcom is doing more than mere coordinating. "Under the banner of 'homeland security', the military and intelligence communities are implementing far-reaching changes that blur the lines between terrorism and other kinds of crises and will break down long-established barriers to military action and surveillance within the US."

He also said the Pentagon reviewed the Posse Comitatus Act and determined that it would not be a violation to deploy the National Guard to protect critical infrastructure in some circumstances. He said he expects more presidential directives in the future to expand the military's homeland defense role.

Then of course we have General Tommy Franks stating that a major terror attack on US soil would mean the Constitution will likely be discarded in favor of a military form of government.

MARTIAL LAW is HERE!

Some say this is nothing new. In a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations in January, former US senator Gary Hart said American founders "created such an army and called it the militia: citizen-soldiers under the immediate command of the various states that can be deployed in times of emergency. Since the late 19th century these militias have been known as the National Guard, and they were created and given constitutional status as the first responders and the first line of defense in the case of an attack on our homeland".

This is clearly an alteration of reality. The reason why the founding fathers employed militias and later created Posse Comitatus was that they knew a centralized national army could be used in a future environment to take over the country and take away the rights of everyone.

Police State infrastructure - Already in place (and in use)

We have further exposed how the infrastructure for a Martial Law Police State is already in place, and in many cases is in use. We have a whole archive on the revelations that FEMA has Concentration camps set up and ready to go in the event of any emergency that is deemed suitable for their use. As we have also seen recently, these camps need not have barbed wire and observation towers, they can simply be well guarded sports stadiums.

Detention centers are common features of any public protest event now, as we recently saw at the Republican National Convention and G8 protests.

We have also exposed the development of police State weapons that make Tasers look like water pistols. See this article on The Pentagon's Secret Scream Sonic devices that can inflict pain--or even permanent deafness. These type of devices that are routinely used in Iraq have recently been in use in New Orleans in the Katrina aftermath.

The use of Unmanned drone aircraft has also been documented recently in New Orleans. Again, such weapons are being used not only in foreign reconnaissance but also domestically for spying on "citizens" and controlling crowds. Industry representatives are enthusiastic about the drones' potential.

"I believe we will see Predator and Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) watching over major events, such as the Olympic Games and the Super Bowl, in the not-too-distant future," Brad Brown, then-president of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International wrote earlier this year.

Alex's most recent film Martial Law: Rise of the Police State also documents the use of huge corporate sponsored surveillance blimps. The Department of Homeland Security is developing 900 ft long so called "Super Blimps" for surveillance, intended to fly about 65,000 feet, well above commercial airliner traffic.

We have also documented the rise in use of the national guard to break up public events. On multiple occasions we have carried stories, photos and video of tanks and armed troops on the streets of America. We saw earlier this year how such deployments are used not only to break up protests, but even something as insignificant as a rave in a field.

Future technology under development includes robot police that have the ability to run. Its like we are living in the Twilight Zone or in a futuristic dystopian film. Yet when you mention these kind of things to people they either don't believe you or simply laugh at you. Well here's a wake up call, IT'S THE YEAR 2005, not 1955, and these things are real.

Reviewer: Black Krishna - 5 out of 5 stars - August 2, 2005

Subject: Amnesty Intellectual - "Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th..."

President George W. Bush spoke to the World before the UN General Assembly on November 10, 2001:

"Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September the 11th, malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists themselves, away from the guilty."

Throughout the corridors of power around the world, a clear message was sent: shut up.

It disseminated from The White House, then corporate media, and now there's peer pressure to deny any other possibilities.

It's crazy how much credibility one gets from just saying: "Well I'm not one for conspiracy theories..." no matter the nonsense or sins of omission that follow. Our herded gullibility buys fake credibility, and even after Fahrenheit 9/11 recently showed millions the media lies to protect the government from the people, we still fight like hell to defend the half-truths we learned against concerned citizens with a wealth of evidence.

(sigh)

So: I present my all-purpose argument for anybody to tell everybody...

THE TOP 10 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH IT

1) All information we receive is based on editorial decisions. Here, footage, interviews, and and documents from hundreds of mainstream news sources is very real, including live slip-ups or great stories that got buried. The documentation using "news" makes this "news", not blind theorizing.

2) The militarization of security everywhere is troubling, especially when they don't tell us about it. This movie shows where society may be going, and whether it gets there or not this establishes clear intent. Widespread information may provoke public outrage, it'll be impossible to stop otherwise.

3) "Qui bono" is latin for "who profits", and this film establishes the money to be made from their actions. The rich are making billions of dollars off increased security, and this film is being given away for free by the people who care to expose it.

4) They rip Michael Moore: just in case you thought they were Left. And Communists.

5) They rip Republicans: just in case you thought they were Right. And Rednecks.

6) They've gone after the crimes of Clinton and Bush equally hard, while recognizing that military-industrial complex initiatives are accelerating under Bush.

7) What exists? We don't know anymore: there is no universality. This movie is not just a matter of taste: it's critical information about the people who have the most power over everyone else, and how they're getting much more control. The bias is simple: this is bad, here's proof, and there's an objective morality being violated in how people are being treated.

8) You can believe what you want: belief and disbelief require an equal measure of proof. Don't set the bar higher than for anything else and I guarantee you'll like it, and don't think just because you haven't heard it yet that it's not true. We often believe anecdotes from anybody, this movie at least provides proof.

9) It's snapshot of current events from a different angle starting at the Republican National Convention in New York last fall, and serves as a deeper sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11 with a different timeline and similar impact: Why didn't we see that? Where was the press?

10) People's reactions are priceless, both those on film and your own. Check the logic used to dismiss info, and ask why you fight to avoid revising an opinion. Our thoughts are not entirely our own, there is a "normal", safe, shrinking and inclusive knowledge-base that forms common opinion about what we are supposed to know. This makes everything else "crazy" for no good reason: these are just "people" trying to tell us something for God's sake!

Our distrust of all media based on the massive failures of the corporate media is leaving us all hopelessly ignorant.

So: "Qui bono?"

With the best sources of alternative media: we do.

Peace, (NOW!!!)
BK

Bush offers Pentagon as 'lead agency' in disasters

Insight Magazine | September 27 2005
By Bill Sammon

President Bush yesterday said he wants Congress to consider putting the Pentagon, not state and local agencies, in charge of responding to large natural disasters in the future.

"Is there a circumstance in which the Department of Defense becomes the lead agency?" Mr. Bush asked members of a military task force participating in Hurricane Rita relief efforts in Texas.

"Clearly, in the case of a terrorist attack, that would be the case, but is there a natural disaster of a certain size that would then enable the Defense Department to become the lead agency in coordinating and leading the response effort?" he added. "That's going to be a very important consideration for Congress to think about."

The remarks came 10 days after the president first floated the idea during an address to the nation from New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Having been sharply criticized for the federal government's slow response to the storm, Mr. Bush called for increased powers for the White House and Pentagon.

"It is now clear that a challenge on this scale requires greater federal authority and a broader role for the armed forces -- the institution of our government most capable of massive logistical operations on a moment's notice," he said.

That would require a change of law, since the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 forbids the military from performing civilian law enforcement duties. Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld is investigating possible reforms to the act, which Pentagon officials consider archaic.

Sen. John W. Warner, chairman of the Armed Services Committee, said the president and defense secretary should be given "standby authorities" to respond to natural disasters.

"I believe the time has come that we reflect on the Posse Comitatus Act," the Virginia Republican said on the Senate floor earlier this month.

Mr. Bush's push for greater consolidation of federal power in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita mirrors his successful implementation of the Patriot Act in the wake of September 11. The act, which gives law enforcement officials greater authority to pursue terrorists, has been called overly intrusive by critics.

Similarly, critics are already warning against repeal of Posse Comitatus.

"Washington seems poised to embrace further centralization and militarization at home," cautioned Gene Healy, senior editor at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank. "That has the makings of a policy disaster that would dwarf Hurricane Katrina."

Putting soldiers into peacekeeping roles will degrade their war-fighting skills and imperil the liberties of civilians, he said.

"When it comes to domestic policing, the military should be a last resort, not a first responder," Mr. Healy said. "That reflects America's traditional distrust of using standing armies to enforce order at home, a distrust that's well-justified."

Sen. David Vitter, Louisiana Republican, said the Pentagon should replace the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as the primary coordinator of disaster relief.

"I'm not talking about superseding state authority or local authority," he told CNN. "But I am saying when a disaster is as big as at least Katrina, and you have this full-scale mobilization, food and water and ice and rescue efforts, I believe the proper entity at the federal level are the uniform services to be in the lead of that, not FEMA. And so I think we need to go to that model in the future."

Sen. Mary L. Landrieu, Louisiana Democrat, said: "The military has a very strong role to play, but so do our governors and our local elected officials."

White House press secretary Scott McClellan emphasized that federal authority would be invoked only in "really extraordinary circumstances," such as a Katrina-size hurricane, a terrorist attack "or a disease pandemic, like an avian-flu outbreak."

Yesterday, several military officials urged the president to develop a national plan to coordinate search-and-rescue efforts.

Beauty is Skin Deep: "The beauty products from the skin of executed Chinese prisoners" (The Guardian Unlimited - UK)

[Ed note: This insane Guardian article pimp'd courtesy of an email from a noble warrior, The Great Samurai, Sir Spensei...]

(...)

This is what happens with Fascism: instead of helping China reform through trade and negotiations, we are endorsing their Fascism and tyranny and enjoying the cheap slave-labor force that supports our lifestyles.

There is no "stasis" in this arrangement, not with capitalism: there is only building on the flawed principles of seeing human beings as a massive means to the ends of a few. We're not even talking about health care products here (e.g. organ donation), but rather "make-up".

The ramifications are much greater with each incremental allowance of these actions: along the supply chain people become dependent on this business model for jobs, then justify it's existence, then an extension of the base vile principles it's built on for growth, and then complain they're absolutely miserable.

We've already seen it: This. Is. The. World.

The irony is that in the fastest-paced era in history, we assume things aren't going to change while also saying things are getting much worse than they used to be.

Confusing?

Exactly.

But...

They're just dead prisoners!

Sure...

But dead prisoners in a country who's legal system is at best "flawed" and at worst "evil", and that likely includes the bodies of many good people (dissidents? terrorists?) who were trying to change it and their country for the better.

Not that we in the West can talk, with 12% of America's population African-American and 50% of America's prison population African-American, there are clearly systemic issues at play. (Or you're a freakin' racist). With the largest prison population in the world and a President famous for executing minorities, juveniles, women, and the mentally challenged as Governor of Texas, it is no surprise that America's leaders keep endorsing more "free trade" with China irrespective of the cost in human life.

(...)

In fact, "free trade" is a lie, and the anti-globalization people aren't "crazy" as they're sold on television: they're correct.

Basically this is simply the new model for creating "banana republics", and the drive to promote "free trade" was based on an assesment of how to capitalize on current global inequality at the highest levels of political and economic leadership.

The First World can sub-segment countries into specific feeder-relationships for Western lifestyles - and more importantly corporate profits. This ensures countries are merely seen as suppliers of product-lines that can be replaced after they are robbed blind and squeezed dry.

Trade barriers allow domestically diversified industries to develop and mature, and can make the whole world a better place by contributing unique, inexpensive and often superior goods (like Honda and InfoSys), including products specifically designed for regional interests that help grow local business.

This maturation process also adds a natural competitive evolution to keep inflation down, and maximize the diverse skills that a population-base of diverse people (even of the same color!) inevitably hold and want to express - in lieu of being politically suppressed for the interests of those living thousands of miles away.

Unfortunately, thanks to corporate-fascism masquerading as sound economic policy, that won't be allowed to happen: the politically astute middle-class are being taught that "free trade" is an economic Godsend, and don't really understand it.

This makes no sense.

People always say "diversify your portfolio!", and really, when it comes to retirement savings plans that is the most important and obvious advice ever given to ensure the safest return on investment. Most other players use that (patently obvious) advice as a nigh-religious principle even though they are often just playing with some disposable income as gambling money.

So: why do WE expect entire countries to "unify" their portfolio?

To gamble their entire future on whatever products they squeeze their labor force into producing the cheapest under the most dangerous conditions?

To force their populations into a handful of job opportunities that often relate very little to advancing local interests and maximizing any individual's potential?

To eventually be beaten by their own success at creating a middle-class that won't provide slave-labor anymore; and losing business to a starving country that will?

To be at the mercy of the fickle whims of the Western World's political and economic leadership who spent years screwing them with brutal colonialism?

And then years screwing them with brutal IMF and World Bank loans?

And then years teaching their youth that a Third World country's economic growth into a First World country that includes generations of poverty is perfectly "normal"?

And still doing that despite the fact that it rarely or never happens?

Man: WE are such pricks.

The beauty products from the skin of executed Chinese prisoners

· Cosmetics firm targets UK market ·

Lack of regulation puts users at risk

Ian Cobain and Adam Luck
Tuesday September 13, 2005
The Guardian

A Chinese cosmetics company is using skin harvested from the corpses of executed convicts to develop beauty products for sale in Europe, an investigation by the Guardian has discovered.

Agents for the firm have told would-be customers it is developing collagen for lip and wrinkle treatments from skin taken from prisoners after they have been shot. The agents say some of the company's products have been exported to the UK, and that the use of skin from condemned convicts is "traditional" and nothing to "make such a big fuss about".

With European regulations to control cosmetic treatments such as collagen not expected for several years, doctors and politicians say the discovery highlights the dangers faced by the increasing number of Britons seeking to improve their looks. Apart from the ethical concerns, there is also the potential risk of infection.

MPs on the Commons select health committee are to examine the regulatory system and may launch an investigation and question ministers about the need for immediate new controls. "I am sure that the committee will want to look at this," said Kevin Barron, its Labour chairman. "This is something everyone in society will be very concerned about."

Plastic surgeons are also concerned about the delay in introducing regulations to control the cosmetic treatments industry. Norman Waterhouse, a former president of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, said: "I am surprised that we are taking the lead from the European commission, because this is bound to delay action on this important area which is increasingly a matter for concern. It seems like a bit of a cop out to me."

It is unclear whether any of the "aesthetic fillers" such as collagen available in the UK or on the internet are supplied by the company, which cannot be identified for legal reasons. It is also unclear whether collagen made from prisoners' skin is in the research stage or is in production. However, the Guardian has learned that the company has exported collagen products to the UK in the past. An agent told customers it had also exported to the US and European countries, and that it was trying to develop fillers using tissue from aborted foetuses.

Traditional

When formally approached by the Guardian, the agent denied the company was using skin harvested from executed prisoners. However, he had already admitted it was doing precisely this during a number of conversations with a researcher posing as a Hong Kong businessman. The Press Complaints Commission's code of practice permits subterfuge if there is no other means of investigating a matter of public interest.

The agent told the researcher: "A lot of the research is still carried out in the traditional manner using skin from the executed prisoner and aborted foetus." This material, he said, was being bought from "bio tech" companies based in the northern province of Heilongjiang, and was being developed elsewhere in China.

He suggested that the use of skin and other tissues harvested from executed prisoners was not uncommon. "In China it is considered very normal and I was very shocked that western countries can make such a big fuss about this," he said. Speaking from his office in northern China, he added: "The government has put some pressure on all the medical facilities to keep this type of work in low profile."

The agent said his company exported to the west via Hong Kong."We are still in the early days of selling these products, and clients from abroad are quite surprised that China can manufacture the same human collagen for less than 5% of what it costs in the west." Skin from prisoners used to be even less expensive, he said. "Nowadays there is a certain fee that has to be paid to the court."

The agent's admission comes after an inquiry into the cosmetic surgery industry in Britain, commissioned by the Department of Health, pointed to the need for new regulations controlling collagen treatments. Sir Liam Donaldson, the chief medical officer, has highlighted the inquiry's concerns about the use of cadavers for cosmetic treatments. "Cosmetic procedures are a rapidly growing area of private health care," he said. "We must ensure we properly protect patients' safety by improving the training and regulation."

The DoH has agreed to the inquiry's recommendations, but is waiting for the European commission to draw up proposals for laws governing cosmetic products. It could be several years before this legislation takes force.

Meanwhile, cosmetic treatments, including those with with aesthetic fillers, are growing rapidly in popularity, with around 150,000 injections or implants administered each year in the UK. Lip enhancement treatments are one of the most popular, costing an average of £170.

Some fillers are made from cattle or pig tissue, and others from humans. The DoH believes that there may be a risk of transmission of blood-borne viruses and even vCJD from collagen containing human tissue. Although there is as yet no evidence that this has happened, the inquiry found that some collagen injections had triggered inflammatory reactions causing permanent discomfort, scarring and disfigurement. In their report, the inquiry team said that if there was a risk, "action should be taken to protect patient safety through regulation".

While new regulations are to be drawn up, the department is currently powerless to regulate most human-tissue fillers intended for injection or implant, as they occupy a legal grey area. Most products are not governed by regulations controlling medical products, as they are not classified as medicines. They also escape cosmetics regulations, which only apply to substances used on the surface of the skin and not those injected beneath it. The Healthcare Commission is planning new regulations for cosmetic surgery clinics next year, but these will not control the substances used by plastic surgeons.

Hand transplants

A number of plastic surgeons have told the Guardian that they have been hearing rumours about the use of tissue harvested from executed prisoners for several years.

Peter Butler, a consultant plastic surgeon and government adviser, said there had been rumours that Chinese surgeons had performed hand transplants using hands from executed prisoners. One transplant centre was believed to be adjacent to an execution ground. "I can see the utility of it, as they have access and no ethical objection," he said. "The main concern would be infective risk."

Andrew Lee of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, who has visited China to examine transplant techniques, said he had heard similar rumours.

Manufacturers of aesthetic fillers said they had seen Chinese collagen products on sale at trade fairs, but had not seen any labelled Chinese-made in the UK. Dan Cohen, whose US-based company, Inamed, produces collagen products, said: "We have come across Chinese products in the market place. But most products from China are being sold 'off-label' or are being imported illegally."

In China, authorities deny that prisoners' body parts are harvested without their consent. However, there is some evidence to suggest it may be happening.

In June 2001, Wang Guoqi, a Chinese former military physician, told US congressmen he had worked at execution grounds helping surgeons to harvest the organs of more than 100 executed prisoners, without prior consent. The surgeons used converted vans parked near the execution grounds to begin dissecting the bodies, he told the house international relations committee's human rights panel.

Skin was said to be highly valued for the treatment of burn victims, and Dr Wang said that in 1995 he skinned a shot convict's body while the man's heart was still beating. Dr Wang, who was seeking asylum in the US, also alleged that corneas and other body tissue were removed for transplant, and said his hospital, the Tianjin paramilitary police general brigade hospital, sold body parts for profit.

Human rights activists in China have repeatedly claimed that organs have been harvested from the corpses of executed prisoners and sold to surgeons offering transplants to fee-paying foreigners.

Dr Wang's allegations infuriated the Chinese authorities, and in a rare move officials publicly denounced him as a liar. The government said organs were transplanted from executed prisoners only if they and their family gave consent.

Although the exact number of people facing the death penalty in China is an official secret, Amnesty International believes around 3,400 were executed last year, with a further 6,000 on death row.

What is it?

Collagen is a major structural protein found in abundance in skin, bones, tendons and other connective tissue. Matted sheets of collagen give skin its toughness and by winding into molecular "cables", it adds strength to tendons.

What is it used for?

Collagen injections are used in cosmetic surgery to plump up lips and flatten out wrinkles. After botox, collagen injections are the second-most popular cosmetic operations in Britain. Collagen does not have a permanent effect and several injections are often needed.

What else is it good for?

Collagen was being put to good use as far back as the stone age. Neolithic cave dwellers around the Dead Sea are believed to have used it as a primitive form of glue some 8,000 years ago. More recently, researchers have developed a form that can be poured or injected into wounds to seal them.

Where does it come from?

A number of sources. Some companies extract it from cow skin and treat it to minimise the risk of allergic reactions or infection. Others collect it from human donors or extract cells from the patient before growing the necessary amount in a laboratory.

Is it safe?

Collagen can cause allergic reactions if it has not been treated correctly, and there is a theoretical risk of disease being passed on. A small amount of collagen is often injected into the skin a few weeks before treatment to test for possible allergic reactions. Earlier this year, Sir Liam Donaldson warned that collagen injections could spread conditions such as hepatitis and variant CJD, the human form of mad cow disease.

U.S. Court Hears Chinese Media’s Role in Torture

Epoch Times | September 24, 2005
By Tracey Zhu

HARTFORD, Conn. – On a sunny Thursday morning in a packed federal courtroom, the audience heard how the state-owned media in China has furthered a campaign of torture against Falun Gong adherents in China.

Zhao Zhizhen, a CCP official and the former Director of Wuhan TV Station in China was served with a summons in July 2004 when he was visiting New Haven. The lawsuit was filed by Falun Gong practitioners under the Torture Victim Protection Act a statute passed by Congress in 1992 to give courts jurisdiction over perpetrators of torture abroad. It was also filed under the Alien Tort Statute; a 215-year-old law that allows foreigners to sue in the U.S. over human rights abuses committed anywhere. The Thursday hearing addressed the defendant’s motion to have the case dismissed on the grounds that it’s about speech and not about torture.

The defendant's attorney, Bruce Rosen, told U.S. District Judge Robert Chatigny that his client is not responsible for the persecution of Falun Gong in China, as it is unrelated to the Defendant’s television programs, website and other activities. He characterized the case as a “libel case” and characterized the Defendant’s television programs as like 20/20 and 60 minutes.

But Terri Marsh, Plaintiffs’ attorney compared the defendant’s speech to that of Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels. She said that Zhao is intricately linked to the perpetration of a campaign of torture and genocide waged against Falun Gong in China. She said that the Defendant is responsible for the material broadcast on the WRTB television station he managed as CEO and for the material displayed on the China Anti Cult Association (CACA) website as one of the founders of the website and a member of the board. The television station and website displays include direct calls for the eradication of Falun gong, as well direct orders to “punish [Falun Gong] without mercy,” and to “shoot them once confirmed.”

Attorney Marsh also explained that in China “propaganda” substitutes for a “rule of law.” In the United States, one may not be deprived of one’s liberty or life without due process (including a trial by a jury of one’s peers). In China, the Communist Party first labels a person or group as “an enemy of the state” and secondarily has them arrested and tortured. As the CACA website says, “lets call them terrorists, then whatever measures we use will be justified.”

This is exactly how the persecution began: Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP called Falun Gong an enemy of the state to justify the persecution he initiated in July of 1999. According to Amnesty International, the persecution has caused thousands of deaths and severe torture to practitioners of Falun Gong in China.

Marsh said that Zhao knew that the material he produced, aired and displayed on through these media were likely to incite, inflame and further the unlawful arrest and torture of practitioners of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Outside, plaintiff Chen Gang, 34, said a movie made by Zhao was shown over and over inside the labor camp where he was sent in 2000 for being a member of Falun Gong. He said that type of propaganda led to beatings and other torture.

“Before the suppression started, the media comes out and says these guys are bad,” Chen said. “That gives them the excuse. Some crimes are hidden. If you give someone the knife and say, 'That guy is bad,' it makes what happens worse.”

Outside the courtroom, one Falun Gong practitioner said “Here in the U.S. we are filing the suit for those who are responsible for the killing and torture of practitioners because we want justice.”

Judge Chatigny said he would rule soon on the motion by Zhao’s attorney to dismiss the case.

London Bomber Mastermind Was Working For MI6

New Criminologist Magazine | September 26 2005

Haroon Aswat – the man British Police believe was behind the London bombings – was working for MI6, it has been confirmed by leading U.S. and French intelligence asset/agents.

RELATED:
7/7 Mastermind was working for British Intelligence

Now an FBI agent in Seattle – name removed for security reasons, but can be published at the drop of a hat – has demanded that former USDA federal agent, Dr Janette Parker, stop talking to the British media about how the FBI obstructed their own top terrorism investigator, John O’Neill in his enquiries.

Dr Parker, who worked alongside O’Neill, although not in an official capacity’ is fearful of her life.

“Janet is a highly-professional and honest person. She is very brave,” says Christopher Berry-Dee, publisher of TNC. “But, now the cat is out of the bag, and we have ensured that she will be protected by circulating her information to leading British newspapers and the media.”

Dr Parker writes: “The American press can be silenced but not the British press. MI-5 and MI-6 and not happy about the intelligence failure on the American side of the Atlantic, especially withholding information about Haroon Aswat’s intention for additional bombings and his fund raising in Seattle area in March 2002 (after 911).”

Haroon Aswat is the primary suspect as the mastermind of the London Bombings 7/7. The FBI can assert that Haroon was not in Seattle on March 6, 2002, but British intelligence had him under close surveillance and they know whether he was in England or not.

Dr Parker, who is supported by many other FBI agents and John Loftus (see: http://www.newcriminologist.co.uk/news.asp?id=1124824797) adds: “You can fool some of the people some of the time, all the people some of the time but not all the people all of the time.”

By trying to discredit Dr Parker, she claims:

“The effort of the FBI to hide their own internal problems has now made it impossible for me to expose the corruption and fraudulent documents at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. There were 40 doctors involved and 8 departments. Two doctors pled guilty to Medicaid billing fraud and obstruction of justice charges. The FBI had been conducting an investigation into the medical billing fraud but did not get indictments against them.”

In verified documents, sent to TNC and the British media, Dr Parker’s explosive investigative results cover far-ranging matters, from terrorist training camps, money laundering for the extreme Islamic terror campaigns, FBI cover-ups, prostitution and brutal homicide, threats to her own welfare, physical abuse and intimidation, to include possible phone taps and email interception.

With the events, unfolding in Chicago, (see: http://www.newcriminologist.co.uk/news.asp?id=1529297048 ) even a blind man can see that the current U.S. administration is rotten thru-and-thru, and this corruption has long spread to the UK – where British citizens should be demanding of Prime Minister Blair why SIS/MI6 was using Haroon Aswat as an agent, and why, as John Loftus claims, was Aswat – who was on the British security services ‘Watch List’, allowed to leave the UK, when the British Police were desperately searching for him?

Pinning down Aswat’s movements – as all of the movements of the London Bombers – prior to the bombings is crucial, claim New Scotland Yard.

“Dr Parker’s information IS crucial,” says TNC. “Her knowledge of Special Agent John Neill’s work in counter-terrorism, could make her a very valuable asset if the Met really mean what they say.”

The 911 disaster ( of course the U.S. emergency services hotline number) could have been prevented, as could have the London Bombings.

As a deeply embedded intelligence source recently told TNC:

“Bush and Blair are just puppets. Their strings are tugged by money, corruption, ego, by the Intel services. You don’t even want to know the truth.”

In a chilling observation, our source, who has been verified as having carried out executions on behalf of H.M. Government, and MI6, and a man who has served 25-years for terrorism offenses, added:

“The Northern Ireland Bank Robbery…the Dublin Art theft…the stealing of millions of pounds of UK Government Bonds – two in the name of Mark Thatcher – has all been covered up…MI6 would order me to commit murder, then the SAS would try and shoot me because I knew too much.”

“International terrorism is VERY BIG business,” our source confirmed. “The U.S. and UK trade in terrorism like it is some kind of off-the-shelf commodity. Forget the destruction of lives to normal people, women and children. I have been there and done it all. Your Dr Parker has done the right thing. Like me she is cladding herself with insurance – like a Kevlar jacket, and I wish her all the best.”

In a strange twist, an FBI agent emailed TNC, saying: “We wish you all good luck, and I personally hope that something good comes out of all of this.”

The people of the U.S. should be very proud of Dr Parker. And those of us who are concerned about terrorism in the UK should salute her.

DA SOURCE, DA SOURCE, OF COURSE, OF COURSE...
