that "you're crazy" stuff is just cheap'n'lazy fascist psycho-babble dood, and i've heard if from others who want to feel smugly smart without thinking of anything smart to say.

it's historically ugly stuff since fascist governments use it to get the people's support for locking innocent critics up, and as you see (or write), it works.

it also comes from liars who want to use you to stifle dissent instead of having you use your brain to figure out why people bother dissenting. it just keeps you from using your brain to come to conclusions logically, which is a skill you'll eventually miss.

(or not, you might not know it.)

you get a little chemical "rush" and feel smarter for confidently and ignorantly rejecting learning anything new, hardcore bush supporters are the same way, so you can't tell me you're smarter than they are for approaching friends with information like this.

you can get old-school and say "burn her - she's a witch!" too, but that doesn't make her a witch, or if she's a witch, that didn't prove she's dangerous and deserves to be burned. we understand the world is dangerous, so understanding the dangers seems perfectly normal to me - whether i'm a witch or not.

i'm also the most mature person i know for trying to make the "world" a better place instead of just my "living room", so the complainstapo yuppies who all robotically say they feel "great!" while secretly seeing therapists can bite me.

we're being turned into dumbass robots because we keep watching the same media we criticize for dumbing other people down. we're like animals in a trap licking our own blood until we die because it's so nice'n'salty, and we are idiotically laughing at each other for doing the same thing we're doing.

the fools paying a fortune for a lightbulb or for exhaling "co2" and thinking their kid is going to grow up in a better world are a joke, and they're not being responsible parents. we have screwed-up kids thanks to parents who trust what they learned in the media, and we have a lot of screwed-up kids.

if your media sells you crap and you believe it, don't say you weren't warned when it's not true. also, don't say you didn't know you were trusting liars again and again, and don't say you didn't believe there could be negative consequences - it's obvious.

like i said, i factored in getting smarter with lots of practice, but i didn't factor in my friends going fascist.

ugh, this is so sad.

the problem with learning stuff from liars is that when you repeat it you become a liar. they teach you to perpetuate paranoia about "people" instead of understanding that "power" tends to corrupt at times and some people can explain how it's happening, or is that idea "crazy" too?

you can't explain things away by calling someone crazy unless you prove the "crazy" - or - show me the "body" if you call me a "murderer" and i'll accept it. lots of people get slandered and screwed this way, and it's part of how they divide and conquor us.

even though we know the media lies, we choose to make up the truth based on our biases and half-knowledge instead of finding out why they're lying or what the truth is. if someone tries to explain what the lies are, we learn to refuse to listen and defend our make-believe theories based on the barest of thought or investigation.

we're getting dumb because we forgot that being smart is not defending what you know, but having our opinions evolve by surviving honest challenges. we've been taught to act like religious fanatics when it comes to politics, and proving how bad the bad guys are is bizarrely difficult despite what they've proven to everyone already.

you can be a fox or cbc fundamentalist and mock each other, but it doesn't matter because the silly style of rejection is the same. we laugh at other groups using ignorant anger or smugness, but when we do it we feel "smart" just like the idiots we laugh at do.

this is because the fascist intent of the owners of the world is the same, and if you question the inevitability of "war" or intentions of the "military" you're called "crazy", so if you want to get drafted keep it up - we're heading for endless wars and police states.

if you say "bk believes x and y is really the case", then fine, and i might be crazy if better explanations don't change my mind.

however, they do now, which is how i keep learning.

i don't call people with new ideas "crazy" without proving they are, and i live free and happy because i don't think "people" are out to get me, i just think the "people who wrote the patriot act" are because that's why they wrote it. (it's in the act.)

you haven't researched the "x or y" either you or i believe in, and you're just taking the side of the fascists over your friends like you've been told to. it's happened before, it's happening here, and it's just the history of how they teach us to crush each other's spirits.

there were critics of hitler who weren't listened to either despite all the obvious (pre-emptive war? torture camps?) signs, and look what happened.

there are critics of bush and his "nuclear option" to launch "pre-emptive war" discussed on tv, so don't complain about the world blowing up when you didn't listen to me tell you how to save it.

the logic of assuming people are "crazy" or "lying" if they don't agree with the government will see your friends and neighbors calling special numbers to rat on each other for trying to organize in your city, and us accepting the government hauling us off for complaining about how they're treating us.

that's why i don't call people "crazy", i say they're "right" or "wrong" or "i don't know" and move on. i don't assume they've lost their mind if they decide to point out how evil governments or corporations are, i just see if they make any sense doing it.

if i told you the u.s. government was torturing hundreds of people at a base off the coast of cuba and in secret prisons in eastern europe, you wouldn't believe me.

except you do, because it was on tv.

if anything goes down that's not on tv and your friends warn you about it, what will you do? trust the tv to send you to the "skydome" instead of the new orleans "superdome"? where there won't be food, there won't be water, and you will be shot?

if your analysis of my mental state is that you "don't believe me", then just ask other torontonians who've seen tons of helicopters and planes for the last 2 weeks like i've been doing - and they have.

they don't have my explanation, but they have my evidence, which is what you are questioning first.

if you can accept that helicopters were flying around the city unexplained for hours, what makes me "whack" in following them and trying to find out what's going on?

if tanks were rolling down yonge street, should i be "whack" and follow them - or - be "cool" and just hit the starbucks with the new harry potter?

if you can accept that investigate journalism discovers all sorts of crazy stuff - or that it's supposed to - then why not this?

if you saw my story about this on the cbc you'd believe it, but because you watch the cbc you won't believe me.

because i'm following the story i can't get on the cbc, and because the cbc won't cover it you won't hear about it.

so: a bunch of people can suddenly fly helicopters and planes over the city of toronto for hours or weeks and not explain it, and we'll accept it as busy people who have better things to do then figure out why the media won't talk about it.

or: a 500 pound gorilla can hang off the cn tower and beat his chest with a hot blonde in his clutches, and we'll accept it as busy people who have better things to do then figure out why the media won't talk about it.

so - who's crazy? ;-P

i'm doing this for you guys, the wifeys and the kiddies - i don't have any of my own, nor anyone i relate to as well as i used to, and i could just as soon leave and hit another country with my brains, looks and wit.

this is by design, and it allows me to operate freely. i've had it great and i'm kicking the bad-guys asses for the people that helped me have it great, and like most stuff i say, it makes sense to me and others.

this is exactly what i wanted to make happen, and my timing's aiight, it's everyone else's i'm worried about. much like christians are supposed to go to church and come out acting like jesus, i went to the church for thugs and came out acting like tupac. (etc.) frankly i think i'm doing a better job of practicing my religion than most, and with better results for more, so i'm good.

i'm heavy in the game and understand if you don't get it yet, just stay up and keep your eyes - and - your mind open, you're strong enough to handle the truth and any local critics of it. just 'cause i worked my ass-off to get here doesn't mean i'm not sensitive to your fears, i just have a view of the big canuck picture you don't.

i'm keeping an eye on the clock and the bodycount, and if they get us i want to make sure god will save us, which will only happen if we stop the people in charge of us from killing people.

nothing makes sense if homeboy exists the way we think he does, but i don't care either way since i don't make peace with god, i make peace with man, and figure if we kick-it then god'll be cool with that... :-)

In just over a month’s time, on August 20, the most powerful president in the world will be arriving in Montebello, Quebec for a two-day conference. President George W. Bush will be meeting with Stephen Harper and their Mexican counterpart, Felipe Calderon. So far, the silence from the Canadian and American media has been deafening.

Talk to 90% of people on the street and they won’t know about this upcoming conference, and if by a slim chance they do, they won’t know the purpose of the meeting or why the leaders of Canada, United States and Mexico are meeting in the dog days of summer under what amounts to a veil of secrecy.

So, what’s this upcoming conference all about, and why are the newspapers, radio and television keeping silent about it?

The purpose of the upcoming conference is to ratify the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, which was initiated by Bush, Martin and Fox in 2005 in Waco, Texas. Essentially, this so-called ‘partnership’ will result in what the politicians refer to as ‘continental integration’-newspeak for a North American Union- and basically a harmonization of 100’s of regulations, policies and laws.

In layman’s terms, it means that once this ‘partnership’ has been ratified which is a fait accompli; we will be following in the footsteps of the European Union. It will mean that Canada will become part of the North American Union by 2010, and that our resources, agricultural, health and environment issues, to name a few, will be controlled not by Canada, but by the government of the North American Union.

A huge ‘NAFTA’ highway, one quarter of a mile wide, is already being built in Texas, where private land is being expropriated, and will eventually reach the Manitoba border.

Water will be the ‘issue’ of this century, as more than 25 states in the U.S. are currently in desperate need. Where do you think they will get the water they need?

The United States is already guaranteed 60% of our natural gas resources from NAFTA, which mean that even during emergencies when we need energy, we will have to import it, while we are forced to export gas to the U.S. This is just one example of how Canada is being shortchanged, and it’s only going to get worse.

Why has there been absolutely NO public consultation on the biggest issue (North American Union) facing Canadians since Confederation? Why isn’t Guy Lauzon, our local MP for Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry, holding town hall meetings, bringing in cabinet ministers and explaining how the emerging North American Union will affect our Canadian way of life? Ask the citizens of Canada for their feedback. Isn’t that how democracy is supposed to work?

Folks, I suggest that Mr. Lauzon isn’t even aware of the SPP or the North American Union, which explains why the Conservative government has denied all Canadians information to which they are entitled. If he does have something to say about it, then let him raise the issue in our riding.

Furthermore, the example of the North American Union illustrates that our government claims to be democratic, but in fact, does it act like one, or does it prefer to make the big decisions at committee level behind closed doors, while masking its real intentions?

If our citizenry allows the North American Union to come into existence, then our way of life will change drastically, for the years to come. With privatization of our resources, increased foreign ownership, and a Canadian government with less and less authority, our children and grandchildren will be come ‘North Americans’ and our quality of life will drastically decline.

The founding fathers of Canada must be rolling over in their graves.
