"We're under martial law (that's not in quotes) in Toronto, and men defending their country is..."

.

Prologue

.

"They let the cop cars burn all night for hours. They burned themselves out."

.

.

Uh-oh...

.

We're under martial law (that's not in quotes) in Toronto, and men defending their country from our cops, troops, mercs and spooks being sent to attack us is now "gay"? What the heck are "men" supposed to do right now? Their hair?

Better check ya head Bobby. It ain't workin' right. We've all been socialized to dream, get drunk and party. But, if Godzilla attacked the city, a few of us would have to take a break to fight him. Go ahead. You tell me who that should be.

.

This whole thing is a set-up. I was on Yonge Street around 8 pm filming the protest march and asked a business owner why we'd seen cops every 2 minutes all week but not one was in sight now. He didn't know. He didn't understand it either.

It's because this is a big set-up to encourage and demonize the violence. It's not like they used the "$1 billion" in "security" and cruising around the city 24/7 in packs to "stop" the violence. That was to intimidate us. This is martial law. Wake up.

.

Later, about 50 were around in full black Roman gladiator riot gear at the corner of Yonge and Queen in the rain to deal with about 20 protesters. It was surreal and crazy. They yelled that anyone sticking around would be arrested. I'd seen enough.

The mass media was there and a CP24 truck was following the protest like it was a part of it. They never discuss "anti-globalization" except to talk about "violence" at a "protest" so we don't have peaceful general strikes like in Europe (etc).

.

Rich people (Rockefeller, Ford, etc.) created big tax-exempt foundations that give out "grants" that "grant" permission to most activists and academics (eg. science) to push a bigger agenda. If they don't, they get no grant money. So, many are lying.

In 1776, or the American Revolution, if someone suggested that the well-informed people get together to chant "We're really mad!" and "We already know!" or break things in town to piss everyone else off, they'd be laughed at. This is "CIActivism".

.

Now, the "Infowar", or calmly and consistently sharing rare and valuable info that improves peoples lives while indicting the system, works. Health stuff is a key since a lot of us are into it, and it's a lot of it is just "better" stuff on "normal" topics.

After being stopped and ID'd all week while postering this stuff, Thursday on Yonge north of College, I was followed by cops, city workers and helicopters (seriously). Walking back, I saw why. They were ripping them all down during a busy rush hour.

.

When "the state" sends a team to clean up after an "enemy of the state" like that, you know it's nothing personal. It's all business. They know chanting "We're cool and you're not!" crap is useless. But, exposing corporate-government lies isn't.

Anyway, that'll do I guess, especially since all I got for my whole damn song is one word in brackets. (Sigh) I remember the days of diss tracks. (Word to Sassy.) Still, there's a reason I wrote the song, so at least figure that out and move on it.

.

Peace,
BK

Appreciate the feedback and I understand it, I tend not to have as much time to tinker with the aesthetics of anything since we're under martial law. Speaking of which, any thoughts on that? Is there anything that artists today should do besides brag and fantasize? If someone can rap or sing better than me, should they be getting a "real" message out to more people?

Tell me, what's cool in the new Facebook, Text and Twitterverse? Are we just supposed to fart or grunt whatever we want to say regardless of what anyone else says? Or what's happening? Do we care about anything besides instant gratification? Should we just push away real info like we're babies? Like it's baby food and we don't feel like eating? Can we see anything?

No worries, I finna smash this crap, but just in case I can't, I really hope at least a few other guys will try. For now, I gotta go-harder when most people can't even go, so I'm a marked-man on these issues. I was even warned by people who'd know that I should watch my back and that it's not safe for me this week. So, I did. Hopefully people find the song interesting.

Just an aside: who knows what would happen if Bob Marley made "Get Up, Stand Up" today? While some comments on my music are dead-on, a double-standard is often applied to people getting "political", like we have to be "better" than people selling you B.S. and most disposable crap gets a free pass. It should be the other way around like it used to be. We'll see.

Peace,
BK
