Feeling Good When It Rains Like A Real Should For Brains

Featuring: Featuring: Jamaican Caller, MS Caller, Alex Jones

This episode: why does most of our media and fiction tell us we're sad and life is hard and we'll never find love and we have no future - and yet - still tells us to act like we're happy anyway? Can we still get cathartically and productively angry enough to reject this depressing nonsense and help each other do so too? Can we beat all the fake "left-right" or "black-white" or "Coke-Pepsi" style divide and conquor arguments we're given to have? Can we trust ourselves to figure out who to trust?

Study Finds High-Fructose Corn Syrup Contains Mercury

Washington Post | January 28, 2009

MONDAY, Jan. 26 (HealthDay News) -- Almost half of tested samples of commercial high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) contained mercury, which was also found in nearly a third of 55 popular brand-name food and beverage products where HFCS is the first- or second-highest labeled ingredient, according to two new U.S. studies. HFCS has replaced sugar as the sweetener in many beverages and foods such as breads, cereals, breakfast bars, lunch meats, yogurts, soups and condiments. On average, Americans consume about 12 teaspoons per day of HFCS, but teens and other high consumers can take in 80 percent more HFCS than average.

full gospel shirley: This is a great question, tho you didnt need to sware. Not judging you, just hoping you get the point.

But yes, cola can cause cancer.

First off , it is very acidic and will make your system so off course with the ph system , and the acid in your stomach will begin to eat away at your stomach and go on to destroy other intestines as well. cola is very acidic. Most foods are acidic. We cant totally avoid them, but we are to balance this off with eating more alkaline foods that will help restore the natural balance of the ph system. Cola is very bad for you for so many reasons, and I learned the hard way. IT almost destoyed my entire health, and literally my stomach was in such bad shape, that they thought I was full of cancer, but was not, only acid. Thank God for the warning. (Continued...)

Coca-Cola sued, others settle over cancer-causing benzene

CBC News | August 25, 2006

A lawsuit filed Friday in Kansas against Coca-Cola Co. alleges that the soft drink maker included ingredients in its beverages that could form cancer-causing benzene. On the same day, two U.S. companies announced they will eliminate similar ingredients from their children's beverages. A Coca-Cola spokesman said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration concluded its products did not pose a threat to consumer safety. "[The FDA] has closely reviewed beverages for the presence of benzene in soft drinks several times in the past and each time has found no public health issue," said spokesman Ray Crockett. ... Prompted by a recent U.S. study that investigated the levels of benzene in beverages, Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency launched their own investigation this year. In May 2006, the Canadian agencies released the findings of their study. In a test of 118 soft drinks, low-alcohol beverages and cocktail mixes, four products were found to exceed the government-imposed limit of five micrograms per litre. The makers of Rose's Cocktail Infusion cranberry twist, Mr & Mrs T Margarita Mix mix, Kool-Aid Jammers "10" cherry flavour and Kool-Aid Jammers "10" tropical punch flavour agreed to change their products to conform with the prescribed benzene limit. The Canadian researchers concluded that for the majority of product samples tested, benzene was not detected or was present in trace amounts too small to reliably measure.

Book Review: Corrupt to the Core

David Hutton | | April 17th, 2009

“Corrupt to the Core” paints a disturbing picture of the internal machinations of a government regulator bent on pleasing its drug company ‘clients’, often with scant concern for the public health implications. Dr. Shiv Chopra is one of three Health Canada scientists whose testimony before a Senate Committee in 1998 triggered headlines around the world. The scientists testified that Health Canada managers had pressured them to release suspect veterinary drugs into the food chain without the evidence of safety required by the Food and Drugs Act.

State-Sponsored Eugenics in Uzbekistan Made Possible by UN, US and World Bank Funding:

The Uzbek government acknowledges receiving generous funding for its eugenic programs and restates the UN-funded mission.

Jurriaan Maessen | | July 22, 2010

The British Independent featured an AP article last Saturday, detailing suspicions that health officials in the Republic of Uzbekistan are widely involved in involuntary sterilization-practices. At first glance, the story may seem wild and baseless. Nothing however is further from the truth. The AP-reporter spoke with a 24-year old housewife named Saodat Rakhimbayeva, an extremely brave woman who tells a heart-wrenching tale of state-sponsored eugenics in her home country of Uzbekistan. After giving birth to a premature boy, she had to witness her son dying just three days later. “Then”, states the article, “came a further devastating blow: She learned that the surgeon had removed part of her uterus during the operation, making her sterile.”
