Man, I saw this Colbert Report a week ago and this brown dude named Ramesh Ponnuru was buggin', he's written a book called "The Party of Death: The Democrats, the Media, the Courts, and the Disregard for Human Life".

Has this bastard seen what his party is doing to the Middle-East?

I couldn't stand to hear his sniveling back-pedaling a week ago, and wait... Steven Colbert has said "We're no longer on the road to WW3!", and used the Jesus cartoon - man I love this guy, and yeah - Steve's trying to tell us to help him stop WW3 from actually happening, which is dope.

In fact, I think I like Colbert better than Stewart these days, but Old Johnny is playing a game of set-'em-up knock-'em-back, I'm guessing. Colbert's fake conservative persona defending keeping the name "Freedom Fries" is a brilliant reminder of just how insane things got - and "are", but also a solid "God you're stupid!" hit against them thar brainwashed Republicans, one Mr. Stewart probably can't afford to take and keep his younger sleepier audience lead-in with nearly as much venom as Mr. Colbert.

Either way, it's a matter of taste, and I'm glad they're a team, comedy's "Michael and Scottie" if you'd prefer. Stewart is more Oprahfied, which gives him 20 million viewers, allowing Colbert to savagely nail President Bush to his red-screwy face at a roast - the greatest example of speaking of truth to power in 6 years.

Remember, Dubya's dad, Bush Sr., is the former CIA Director turned Vice-President and President who - starting in 1980 when he stuck his hand up Cowboy President I - Ronald Reagan's butt and worked him like a "Spitting Image" puppet - sunk the world into a tailspin of micro-wars, increased poverty and oppression, media and corporate consolidation of power, and spiraling drug use - including the CIA's introduction of crack cocaine to Los Angeles (Google: "Gary Webb").

Afghanistan's opium production is up 60% by the way, and the fake "War on Drugs" is how the elite make most of their money and keep most of their control - e.g. why America has the largest prison population in the world, and why "School of Rock" director Richard Linklater made "A Scanner Darkly" recently - and got Keanu Reeves, Robert Downey Jr., Winona Ryder, Woody Harrelson and Alex Jones to star in it.

It's a great way to launder money too.

And now and with The Carlyle Group, Big Oil, Bohemian Grove, Intelligence, Military, Saudi, Skull and Bones and ex-Nazi connections he has - among others, I'd be loathe to criticize the hell out of former President Bush's retard kid's failing Presidency and failing intellect to his face.

What big beautiful balls.

And, Colbert still gets conservative guests like the brown douchebag mentioned above.

And here's an incredibly charming President Bush with a brilliant impersonator (Steve Bridges) doing a back-and-forth routine to close out the same dinner, and dammit, with his nigh-perfect timing and control I'm still not sure whether Dubya's a dumbass or not. Evil? Sure. Dumbass? I dunno... he's getting away with murder, way more than Nixon who got impeached for bugging hotel rooms used by the Democratic party - a fraction of The Bush Crime Family's wake of destruction. And besides, with him being "dumb" all of his actions - including his daily lies - are completely excused by most who just take it for granted that he'll say something "stupid" and "simple" like "Iraq is making progress" or "We'll stay the course", while downright believed by a rabid core of others abley abetted by the cheerleading automaton corporate media. It's not like they ever say: "The last 796,144 times the President said something it turned out that he lied, so really, don't get your hopes up. And again, we're really, really, really sorry New Orleans, please - get well soon!" And, it's not like President Bush has to answer questions he doesn't understand - or ask them either, which is just mind-bogglingly diabolically brilliant strategy. We don't even expect the President of the United States to act like a "human" anymore, we don't expect him to understand what's going on or have any desire to learn, and we seem prepared to just ride that fact out. So yeah, this video has me swaying back towards the "he's the Michael Corleone of a global crime syndicate backed by an even older and richer global crime syndicate and they're trying to take control of us" attitude, and if you've got 11 minutes to spare it's worth checking out. Or, as Sun Tzu sez: "Know thy self, know thy enemy. A thousand battles, a thousand victories."

Anyway, once you suck back a few cold Colbert's after John Stews for a bit, you'll be completely convinced the government and media are lying and trying to make us dumber all the time, and then the "conspiracy" gets waaay easier to digest.

After all, who could possibly create a system like this by doing their jobs unless their jobs were to create a system like this?

It's unfathomable that power would be that irresponsible, especially after Spider Man's Uncle Ben famously said: "With great power comes great responsibility."

I mean, we all read that, it's friggin' Spider Man for G-d's sakes.

So yeah, that's why education has been underfunded for years and especially under the "No Child Left Behind" program, that's why many American women get only 6 weeks of maternity leave - it's one year in Canada - though who knows under "Heil Harper!" where that's going along with privatizing/destroying universal healthcare and daycare, etc., etc.

That's why the military can get $70 billion whenever they want but schools have to have bake sales to buy books, that's why we're all on medication that only leads to more medication, that's why they do experiments on food they won't tell us about, that's why New York City was left to die of cancer by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) after 9/11 with no clean up of the exploded asbestos and other hazardous materials contained in the 220 stories that fell, that's why our air and water and land are getting poisoned under the "Clean Skies Act" in ways so horrible we never hear anything about them, that's why the national debt is being run up trillions of dollars creating insane inflation that's driving up the cost of living, that's why the borders are left open to allow illegal (sh-tty term since they aren't trying to "break the law") aliens pour across the border and drive down wages while corporations and the wealthy pay minimal fines for using slave labor with no effort to improve the economy in Mexico, that's why we don't know why we're paying 50% more at the pump when the gas companies are making 400% more profits, and... that's why there's a conspiracy.

Anyway, so Letterman's doing his best to nail 'em to the wall in his opening half-hour, using actual footage of Bush doing his job like it's a joke, and exposing the "War on Terror" (doesn't it just sting your brain?) for the phony piece of evil war-mongering propaganda that it is.

Check it out, it's good to see people in power got our backs, and help give us the balls to push back against the pawns of war.

And hey, like the guys on South Park, they even make it funny.
