no worries, it's just fascism which has worked in dozens of countries, it'll probably work here too since we trust the same media that we say lies to us, but i'd rather it didn't.

the oldest trick in the book is "we're good and they're evil", the romans used it, the british used it on india and africa, bush used it after 9/11... it just means our government can do anything and we cheer for it, including taking away our rights. nasty stuff, but we've seen it for hundreds of years if we remember it.

we don't know much about the "taliban" who shut down the opium crop which pissed-off our drug-dealing governments. they weren't even the enemy and offered to give up bin laden early if there was any proof he did 9/11, but now we'll keep getting stories demonizing them until we're all drugged or drafted.

we used to fight "al-qaeda" who we set up in the 1980's and now hire to attack iran, but they'll keep switching like three-card monty as long as we trust the same media that's lied before.

it's just a pentascript movie, one we've seen before and it's meant to last "100 years" according to rummy and others.

i know, i know, "oceania will always be at war with eurasia..." blah-blah-blah, i just don't feel like playing along and hope if the rest of us know we won't either... :-)
