Hi Folks,

In the 10 years before The American Revolution, "Committees of Correspondence" were formed where citizens shared concerns about the growing tyranny of the British Empire, and became the basis for throwing off the yoke of oppression. In the 10 months before corporations completely control the internet and lie to launch the restrictive "Internet 2", we have to counter the pressures of a busy World where our social circles homogenize and shrink with age and responsibility, and where our impressions of potential friends and enemies are largely formed by the corporate media on behalf of war-mongering fascists.

If we defend our "Rights" the way we defend our "Opinions", then we can have all the opinions we want: the system is designed that way, with the First Amendment of the trend-setting U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights helping protect "free speech" around the World. Our focus on "defending" freedom has been perverted into "attacking" freedom by deliberately infused tribalism sold to us by the corporate media, who get us to condemn things we don't have to while ignoring things we should as part of our socially assigned "gangs".

We have to establish for a fact that the bad guys who destroyed our earning power and standards of living are controlling these false debates, and their evil plans are worse than we could possibly imagine. Facing the truth will allow us to engage a "common enemy" once and for all, which is exactly how the elite look at "us". They've even written many of their psychotic ideas down in racist and genocidal musings, including the Big Pharma "population reduction" and "medical experiments" alluded to in Oscar-winning films like 2005's "The Constant Gardner", among hundreds of other examples of the insane fantasies of the elite.

The mainstream media is just like many other organizations: it’s composed of mostly good people put into bad situations by bad people. Kind of like Guantanamo. They have hierarchies and cultures defined against the mostly cosmetic differences they have with their peers or competitors, and with their platforms of self-promotion can artificially inflate their own importance. Every intelligence agency does this, and if you watch "TerrorStorm: A History of Government Sponsored Terrorism", you'll see former M1-5 (the British FBI) agent David Shayler discuss how his book with partner Annie Machon, "Spies, Lies and Whistleblowers", recently exposed two "journalists" working for the Sunday Telegraph newspaper were secretly M1-6 (the British CIA) agents, and forced them to resign.

Protecting the dirty secrets of the corporate-government relationship has always been the media's main job, and that’s why ownership rules have been lifted: in 1982 people were outraged that only “50” companies owned the mainstream media; now they’re indifferent about “5”. A plan was launched in America 40 years ago by wealthy "conservatives" (really "globalists") like Joseph Coors and Richard Mellon Scaife to dominate the Republican Party and subvert the Constitution to further this aim. They created "Think Tanks" like "The Heritage Foundation" to train "liars" posing as "experts", who relentlessly repeat baseless charges of "liberal bias" based on the possible personal preferences of some reporters, and despite the fact that most have as much editorial control over the content of their news organizations as fast-food employees do over the content of their McDonald's. The myth is maintained because it helps the wealthy dishonestly attack their critics, and promote policies that make them richer while robbing the unwitting middle-class and poor. It is echoed largely unchallenged by the media owned by 5 corporations, but as anyone can see even "establishment liberals" can't get on TV anymore: after calling him "The most important intellectual of the 20th Century", the AOL/Time Warner owned TIME Magazine somehow lost Noam Chomsky's phone number.

The news is increasingly afraid to call something morally "wrong" when dealing with "official" statements or actions, allowing "officials" to "officially" say or do or justify anything they want while destroying the public's sense of appropriate moral outrage. As the elite brainwash us and change enough laws and institutional practices to implement full-blown fascism, the public who refuse to kick their addiction to the mainstream news will become totally ignorant and powerless. We've been fooled into celebrating or condemning nonsense, and are kept paranoid by being emotionally exhausted and intellectually distracted from the "real" issues in an increasingly dangerous World.

Peer pressure ensures journalists deal with specific issues in specific ways, and the many blindly defending what they choose to ignore is really just self-defense: it helps them justify lying and not trying. Not being "allowed" to cover "real" news often leads to burning-out or selling-out, fulfilling the chief goals of their corporate bosses: weak critics or enthusiastic liars. The mass media’s overall affected arrogance is a vain attempt to bolster their faltering credibility in an awakened online World, and while news divisions are scared of losing their entire audiences, the corporations who own them don't mind taking a $10 million hit on their disappearing nightly audiences in exchange for the $10 billion in oil profits they secretly cleared.

And of course, the sales of old TV on DVD.

Those "waking up" must do a lot more "speaking up", as angry demands for viewer-loyalty by fascist broadcasters emulating "Fox News" and “right-wing radio” tactics galvanize and frighten the ignorant masses, and artificially harden opinions against the alleged but never investigated lies of the independent media and other fake enemies of the public trust. The burdens of proof offered and accepted by the corporate media and their fans is a thinner gruel of "simple-speak" than any serious "conspiracy theorist" can afford to serve anyone, least of all their peers. The recognition of the true dangers we face and the need to work harder for credibility leads to most of us working harder for credibility, and a staggering amount of work is being produced that can bring everyone else up to speed if it’s seen and respected.

The powers of propaganda make the corporate media exceptionally dangerous in a World where we've learned to accept the simplest reasons for killing people; and reserve the "Right" to avoid thinking about it. This paradox should encourage more murder over the coming "100 years" or "Long War" the elite are preparing us for, and before the institutions that can implement or stop it are completely bribed or brainwashed, we need to expose it for a fraud.

The rise of anything-goes "public relations" means anyone pitching anything from anywhere is good business, including "experts" secretly or publicly paid for their punditry or speaking engagements based on the "face-time" they can get on network television. They are often sponsored by the same corporations who make their most trusted liars our most trusted media stars, leading to a parasitic relationship. You've got to feel bad for the decent people trapped inside this morally shaky house of cards: to get rich they have to become confidently, charismatically and criminally negligent, and it can work fantastically as the $50 million estate left by the late ABC News anchor Peter Jennings proves. One can only hope journalists are using their talent as whistleblowers in some fashion, perhaps grabbing aliases and helping to deconstruct the brainwashing they are supporting for the benefit of the public and independent media.

To say "the media lies" is intellectually bankrupt nonsense.

To finally replace the conjecture with the real: "Holy crap! The media tells us nothing we need to know!" empowering truth, I strongly recommend watching and promoting the brilliant film "Orwell Rolls in his Grave" by Robert Kane Pappas. Despite great timing and reviews in 2004, it was buried by the media while the unwittingly polarizing "Fahrenheit 9/11" was promoted, probably because it deals with the media's least favorite subject… itself. Former high-level journalists and producers from major networks and newspapers reveal hundreds of crucial insights as courageous whistleblowers, and expose that the most powerful lobby in Washington is… the media.

This whole genre of brilliant documentaries critical of the "system" as opposed to certain elements of it are often suppressed, and since any 2 minutes could fill a whole episode of 60 Minutes, and you may want to watch them more than once to take it all in. On my umpteenth viewing I noticed that "breaking news" is now just a talking head breathlessly announcing how their "investigative" team learned of some official pronouncement in advance. But they never challenge it. Basically a breaking story today is getting lucky enough to broadcast the official propaganda first, and getting us even more excited about the lies than we would have. Since that's the case, it's not a bad idea for increasingly secretive governments and corporations to leak a few stories either, and confuse the public on what "investigative journalism" is supposed to mean.

Like a lot of good ideas, neither the "media" nor the "conservatives" are what they were meant to be, and corporations have been especially focused on destroying their original value-systems. Once we figure out how complete the corruption of our preferred "gangs" and “mainstream news” sources are, which shouldn't take long since "Orwell Rolls in his Grave" is about 1 hour and 45 minutes, we can see the elite are infinitely more dangerous to us than we are to each other. Once we establish that "we" are inherently more trustworthy than "them" and their salesmen on television, we can safely gamble on the questions we decide to ask as individuals that could benefit the entire World. Whether the questions are considered good or bad or sane or crazy depends on the familiarity with the subjects introduced, and as long as they are focused on the fascists they should be respected: because the fascists are crazy. The global elite are playing "chess" with their "boiling frog effect", and using a series of carefully calculated moves to divide us, weaken us, dumb us down, and distract us from their true intentions. To win we have to play "chess" back by announcing what their plans might be, and anticipating and cutting off the moves they are planning on making. While cynics will attack us for what "doesn't" happen after we say it will, they need to realize that a big reason it "doesn't" is because we are making sure enough people know who should really get the blame if something blows up. Remember: these neo-fascist idiots were talking about being attacked by "terrorists" on a regular basis, so while we're not out of the woods yet, our “anti-terror taskforce” is certainly having a positive effect.

If you're not prepared to fight and want to remain sane in the World we live in, I understand that you have to have skepticism over how bad the situation is and a generic optimism: what choice do you have? Much like cheering for Kerry in '04, Pelosi in '06, and Clinton in '08, you're going to have to believe one of these fascist puppets will save us despite having no evidence to support that conclusion. It's a dangerous and willful blindness, and to seriously deny the critics of these war-mongering savages is categorically nuts. If you’re not in the game you’re not in control, a less-empowering position, and if you’re expecting “G-d” to save you then you’re forgetting one of his favorite sayings: “G-d helps those who help themselves!”

Besides, leave Him alone, He just got “Lost” on DVD and is dying to know what all the fuss is about.

For years the elite have been fomenting infighting based on the alleged "credibility" of peers within various groups opposed to them. However, with the massive amounts of evidence most deep-researchers can present thanks to the advances in technology, including priceless documentaries which organize their work into comprehensive narratives for a semi-literate public, we need to accept and gamble on the value of all the warnings and evidence coming from fellow citizens attacking the "establishment". As long as their claims are represented by peers, persistence and proof, and are aimed at the fascists and not at each other, we have to refuse to adopt our natural cynicism, and accept and promote as many possibilities as possible to counter their attacks on every facet of our society - the majority of which we don't have time to investigate.

It doesn't matter if someone is "wrong" or “mistaken” as long as their views don't attack any peers or keep movements from moving forward, and we can sort the mess out later when we have formal investigations. This policy ensures that nice guys finish first, and can help minimize the impact of government snitches sent to disrupt peaceful assembly. In an “open source” environment, anyone suppressing anyone else can be quickly identified and dealt with, hopefully constructively. As Mahatma Gandhi remarked to a follower who asked him what to do about government agents in their midst, he calmly replied: “Tell them everything.”

Though it's a force of habit, if any of us knows anything more than common-knowledge about anything at all, and all of us do, we have to avoid hypocritically using mainstream justifications to deny the value of the investigations of others as a part of rebuilding trust. While we all act like “experts” at times, we also all reflexively cheat towards "mainstream opinion" when ignorant and fearful of accepting something new or controversial, acting just like the people we get frustrated trying to reach. Even informal discussions with friends and family are tough when you aren’t “believed” despite obviously having looked into a given issue more, something that we’ve greatly suffered from over the last 6 years of internal “Red/Blue” state polarization, another brilliant “divide and conquer” tactic. Perhaps pointing out that attacking people on their knowledge of their “job” is just as silly as being attacked for your research, or perhaps even less so since they often haven’t “studied” their job.

We have to look deeper at issues than the leading pundits on the "Left" or "Right" encourage us to, and realize they are only "leading" because they work for corporate interests who sell them as our "leaders", and represent the same controlled-dissent conditions we’d encounter in their shoes. I wouldn't write them all off though, as many use their resources and intelligence to do a decent job of pointing us in the right direction: Noam Chomsky convinced me that Western governments and corporations are hypocritical and brainwashing mass-murderers; and Alex Jones showed me “why”. If we're smart we can build on the body of evidence put forth by everyone from Arundhati to Oprah, and look closer at the issue than they are allowed to until we see the moves being made that can mobilize entire communities.

Stopping the expensive and dangerous anti-terror "drills" that could go "live" as the brilliant Webster Tarpley enthusiastically endorses is key, and many cities have successfully shut them down. In a World of "official" lies we need to gain confidence in our collective worth by promoting our collective intelligence to each other, condemning the failures of our establishment "experts", and using our respective specializations to help chase their evil plans around the chessboard until we say checkmate before they do. Or, if that metaphor bricked, perhaps it's more like roulette, and the more numbers we place our bets on the better odds we have of winning.

All of this aiming-blame at each other needs to stop for our own safety, and to avoid the domestic police state being set up while we're busy arguing with people or ideas that represent - at worst - a fraction of the danger we're in.

We also have to be concerned about the poor young men and women from the "poverty draft" who make up the troops: the rich chicken-hawks who lied them into the Middle-East don't care about us, and don't care about them either here or there. They have been demoralized by pointless and immoral missions, with no clear objectives and no serious reconstruction efforts to win the "hearts and minds" of the people. They are in serious emotional and physical trouble, many are mentally or physically ill, some have committed suicide, and right now most have pulled back to Baghdad in retreat. They could be encircled and wiped-out especially if Iran is attacked, the totally unprovoked nuclear bombing pushing millions of Iranians into attacking American troops. This could also be part of a neo-fascist plan to destroy any local National Guard units who may resist a martial law takeover, which is probably among the biggest reasons they were created.

The Iraqi "people" or "insurgency" is rising in strength after over 600,000 have been killed (British Medical Journal), and with millions more possibly sickened for generations by depleted uranium causing cancer and birth defects, they have nothing left to lose by fighting the illegal occupation and theft of their land. Everyone is being screwed by the old story of the most powerful military the World has ever seen deliberately waging a failing war to: secure the drug trade, addict the troops, demoralize Americans at home, enrich defense contractors, enrich oil companies, increase Pentagon budgets, and enable tons of other corruption. The absence of the "war" on TV means it could easily be far worse than Vietnam, and based on the "torture" that's been "officially" sanctioned and echoed in our pop-culture, it probably is. All the Pentagon reports of "sectarian violence" are told by proven Pentagon liars who've promised "cyber attacks" on "bloggers" and other sources of "disinformation", or anyone else who disagrees with the claims of nobility made by mass murderers and torturers. They squeeze out a handful of lies in press conferences, and tactfully "leak" a few more to their friends in the "embedded" media as part of the psychological operation (PSYOP) being run on us. These "civil war" reports are just like the reports of "Zarqawi", their "most successful PSYOP to date" according to The Washington Post. In his keynote speech to the ACLU, Seymour Hersh noted in July 2004 that Zarqawi was a Jordanian, not even an Iraqi, and the idea that he was “controlling” the insurgency was laughable. The truth is we have a total blackout on “truth”, and our leaders are bravely refusing to “talk” to the "insurgency" or "people" because that might end the war. "Al-Qaeda" is a fictitious CIA and MI6 contractor on-call for anywhere they need false-flag or destabilization efforts: Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Tanzania, Yemen, Bosnia, Chechnya, Jordan, Afghanistan again, Iraq, and apparently Iran, Syria, North Korea, Egypt, Venezuela, Idaho, New Brunswick and anywhere else the U.S. wants to use “terrorist threats” as an excuse for meddling. To take the Pentagon seriously at this point is to forget all the lies they've told so far, committing the same intellectual suicide as those who assume that Bush definitely lied all the time before and after 9/11, but for two months or so he told the truth: it’s asinine. It's also time for this nightmare to end before Dick Cheney goes nuclear to get his Christmas Wish.


UK soldiers 'freed from militia'

Two British soldiers whose imprisonment prompted UK troops to storm a Basra police station were later rescued from militia, the Ministry of Defence says.

Brigadier John Lorimer said it was of "deep concern" the men detained by police ended up held by Shia militia. Basra governor Mohammed al-Waili said the men - possibly working undercover - were arrested for allegedly shooting dead a policeman and wounding another.

Since the locals in Afghanistan and Iraq are overwhelmingly unhappy with the occupation, the lack of reconstruction, and how it's being brutally managed, more and more are joining the "insurgency" in self-defense against the corruption of a largely lawless and privatized military engaging in random acts of murder and torture. Even soldiers "officially" charged are returning to duty a few months later, a slap in the face to Muslims around the World. The racist and evil plans to totally Balkanize and control the Middle-East according to the Bernard-Lewis Plan didn't need to be botched this badly, and as the weakest and dumbest President in history, Bush has sold-out to far too many greedy interests far too fast to manage this effectively, unable to keep track of the mess or veto even one bill.

Once we stop questioning each other instead of "them", this frees up our minds from needing to question each other, and we'll feel better when we realize who the real enemies creating our fake enemies are. Once we're not enemies we can freely gamble on the worth of each other's information by seeing who we are accusing, and elevate all the ideas that shed light on the systemic changes we can finally make. Instead of chasing the works of leaders beholden to powerful interests, we need to take their leads and focus higher up the food chain of power until we can choke off the negative decisions at their sources, the only way to truly affect significant change. We need to identify the source of "crimes" against humanity like the 40,000 people a day dying needlessly from poverty, and ask why the power-brokers don't structure the economy to counter-act this.

This includes everyone on earth sharing the half-dozen valuable pieces of the puzzle we independently learn each week in any ways they can with everyone they can. We need to tell each other about valuable information sources, gain confidence in our ability to spot and promote them to sympathetic audiences, and avoid shrinking from responsibility and getting depressed over general apathy. It's never going to get easier than this, and despite all the negative hype around "spam" and getting "political", there is simply no easier way to reach, empower and enlighten people than email, the internet and DVD’s. The brainwashing will continue to intensify as they finish their endgame, and if you think it's hard to understand what's happening now, just wait for the effects of another year of fear.

The financiers who've ruined the World's economy are the hidden factor here, the robber-barons of London and Wall Street who should take the biggest hit from the coming depression. ...The dirty little secret is that both houses of Congress have become increasingly irrelevant. The nation's business will go on, regardless of whether there's a long, drawn-out Senate trial.

In case you hadn't noticed, America's domestic policy is now being run by Alan Greenspan and the Federal Reserve Board. Their decisions about interest rates are determining how many of us have jobs and how many of us get a raise.

When the Fed's Open Market Committee decides to lower the rates, unemployment drops and wages rise. When they raise rates, it's just the opposite. When they decide to hold rates steady, as they did last week, the economy continues to move in whatever direction it was already going.

Congress is out of this loop. Every so often, some senators or House members politely ask Greenspan to visit and talk about the economy. He obliges by riding up to the Hill and muttering convoluted sentences that no two people interpret in quite the same way. Then he goes back down to the Fed and runs the country.

America's foreign policy, meanwhile, is now being run by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), with some coaching from the Treasury Department. Their decisions are determining the fate of much of the Third World. The giant bailout they just engineered for Brazil, with lots of strings attached, will decide whether Brazil slips deeper into recession and brings most of the rest of Latin America with it.

The documentary "America: Freedom to Fascism" explains how The Federal Reserve and Central Banking systems Worldwide have been printing money from nothing, and how the inherent corruption in this massive fraud is finally leading to it's collapse. Wealthy economic interests have been using their "experts" at "think tanks" to rationalize horrible social and economic policies in magazines and on television, and convince us that our interests are the same as theirs despite radically different benefits. Despite the hype and people getting outrageously “offended” by a horrible “death tax”, none of the tax-breaks benefited the poor or middle-class in any way.


"[Jim] Martin is credited with having brought the "death tax" coin back into wider circulation in 1993. He gained an ally in political mastermind Frank Luntz. Luntz, who conducted focus groups for conservative caucuses and politicians, understood the importance of language. He even wrote a rhetoric primer for conservative politicians with the Orwellian name "Language for the Twenty-first Century."

Luntz's message research found that "death tax" kindled voter resentment in a way that "inheritance tax" and "estate tax" didn't. Luntz shared his findings with Republican leaders and included the phrase in the GOP's 1994 "Contract with America."

In a strategy memo to GOP lawmakers, the media-savvy Luntz suggested that legislators stage press conferences opposing the estate tax "at your local mortuary" to dramatize the issue. "I believe this backdrop will clearly resonate with your constituents," advised Luntz. "Death is something the American people understand."10

Between the desire of the World to avoid total financial collapse, the total aggregate U.S. dollar supply, the easy removal of taxes on small businesses and a simple bearable tax on the banks, we could ensure a decent $25/hour minimum wage to offset the brunt of the recession and dollar devaluation, which despite what you might think isn't really that much. If you watch TV you can see how much stuff the rich have built for how many rich people, and it's a hell of a lot for not a hell of a lot. That's where the old "one-job easily supports a family" to the new "two-jobs barely supports a family" difference in the fruits of our labor went over the last 50 years, when the income for the poor and middle-class grew by single-digits, at the top incomes grew well over 100%.

The wealthy can help compensate for devaluation in deals with foreign creditors that could save all our skins, and we need to get their attention by bringing them to the table to negotiate by using a series of general strikes. This is what 50% of the Spanish did after The Madrid Bombings (3/11), which helped expose their very own 9/11-style "inside job" and get their soldiers safely home and out of the illegal War in Iraq. The best way to shut down the finance oligarchs is the strike at their money-supply, and the source of it is ultimately our labor. They are fairly well-hidden though, and even Forbes Magazine downplays the influence of the richest family in the World:

The Democrats winning the House is a good sign. Or not.

With "hackable electronic voting machines" who knows what really happened, and whether the Republicans decided to throw the fight and put controlled "Democrats" in to help us go to sleep. They’ll all probably avoid fixing the problem, especially since most Democrats haven't stood up for the American people in 6 years. Pelosi's suicidal pre-election promise to avoid impeaching Bush shows they're obviously controlled: what Democrat in their right mind would say that before an election with Bush's approval ratings at 30%? It has since been echoed as a Bush "loyalty oath" by Howard Dean and John Conyers, and the Democrats early eagerness to "compromise" instead of "fight" is a sign of a "representative democracy" in total decay.

But, it’s possible that this may have woken people up, and the vote to make Benedict Pelosi the Speaker doesn't happen until January, so despite the mainstream media's premature coronation you need to let everyone know there is still a chance to dethrone her:

Polls show half of America wants impeachment proceedings or oversight hearings, and the spineless Democrat leaders aren't going to bother if they get the wrong people organized into supporting the fascist agenda. This is embarrassing either way: the Republicans treated the so-Demized-o-crats like dogs when they had power, refusing to listen to them, threatening the "nuclear option" of eliminating the filibuster, and even forcing John Conyers to have Congressional hearings on the Downing Street Memo in the basement. Someone like Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean is boxed-in by the powers-that-be, and toes the party line to keep his job despite his natural activism and energy. Despite echoing Pelosi's anti-impeachment stance, in the past he's loudly mused about President Bush having foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks, and appeared with the wonderful Bev Harris from BlackBoxVoting.org to explain exactly how Diebold software is easily hacked in "Votergate: The Movie". Incidentally, check with Bev for the latest reports of election fraud, it's more rampant and less publicized than ever.

After all: we got the result we wanted right?

An utterly toothless and useless "separation of powers"?

For Dean and other Democrats or even Republicans to take on the electronic voting issue and gamble on the many others that can stop this fascist takeover, they need to have their grassroots supporters move beyond echoing their publicly watered-down and weakened rhetoric, which is often softened to avoid getting bashed by the controlled corporate media. Their followers need to embrace more radical and ultimately more "truthful" ideas to give them the political cover-fire they need to bring them up publicly, giving them an educated “base” with which to take up the fight.

Look at the "Left" (or “Right) as a spectrum, and understand that Jon Stewart probably watches more than just his show to get inspired. He and others research positions more radical than they publicly espouse, and translate what they can get away with to be “cutting edge” for their audiences. Look for "Fuel Spectrum Dominance", or the opportunity for harder-core information to inspire, enlighten and “fuel” the evolution of your current position into a more effective one, and to help you bring your preferred leaders along. If there is going to be any Congressional revolt or Constitutional Crisis, they need to see a mass-market for truth that can finally end the reign of the neo-con war-salesmen.

Using the "official" rhetoric won't work: it's designed to be limiting, and even the simplified anti-war messages play perfectly into the Republican "Talking Points" in the mass media. We've got to stop the North American Union (NAU), the police state anti-terror "drills" that could go "live", the old FEMA and new Halliburton concentration camps, the forgotten environmental destruction, the looting of pension, healthcare, social-security and other funds, and the hundreds of other tragedies accelerated over the last 5 years, and engage communities and the media in more open and constructive ways. While they are all "compromised" in some way, more and more prominent people are speaking up on behalf of their children and grandchildren, and we need to embrace the newfound realizations and courage of even the people who helped Bush steal the election in 2000:

As part of their panic attacks on us, the "peak oil" thing is a fraud to help sell us higher gas prices, and has been sold to the public every few years since the 1970's. While there are normal improvements to be made along the supply-chain, there are no shortages with so many areas still not fully surveyed, and when great powers rush to grab oil it's not about shortages: it's about gearing up for war. I even asked at prominent "peak oil theory" proponent: "Is there a lot of oil?", he said "Oh no!", I said "Well if there's only a small amount what's the point of fighting?", he said "Oh no, there's more than that", I said "So if there's as much oil as there was before, what's all the fuss about now?", and he couldn't answer because despite being a peak oil proponent he had no clue how much oil there was. However: it will help pay your rent, so it might be worth it to study the propaganda and squeeze out an article or two. The simple truth is the gas companies are making 400% more money while we're paying 50% more money for the same gas, so there's no "supply chain" issues either.

When major oil companies report their quarterly profits next week, they're once again expected to post record numbers. With crude trading around $60 a barrel, the oil industry is enjoying one of the biggest windfalls in its history. But as the industry looks for places to put that cash, it's finding it harder and harder to put funds to work finding new deposits of oil and natural gas.

By just about any measure, the past three years have produced one of the biggest cash gushers in the oil industry’s history. Since January of 2002, the price of crude has tripled, leaving oil producers awash in profits. During that period, the top 10 major public oil companies have sold some $1.5 trillion worth of crude, pocketing profits of more than $125 billion.

The so-called Bush Doctrine of "pre-emption" is what’s allowing them to simply declare countries a “threat” and attack them without providing any “proof”. The Nuremberg Trials called unprovoked wars of aggression "the supreme crime" when indicting the Nazi's, especially in the nuclear age, and the rest of the World knows it. This could be a neo-con red-herring designed to get us focusing on them and their very public Project for the New American Century plans, as opposed to the European puppet-masters ready to save us all from those damn Yankees. It’s not guaranteed, but it plays into the big picture nicely, and can be added to the list of possibilities.

The whole rationale behind this foreign policy is the "War on Terror", an issue that if it was actually "real" the local police and foreign aid would solve: just arrest the crazies and get the rest of the people food and jobs. That solves everything. The reason the Israeli government is treating the Palestinians like rocks is to maintain their power and control over the Israeli people, so basically their government is full of scumbags just ours. I had a discussion with a friend of mind about the use of that and other derogatory terms for politicians, but frankly if you can't call mass-murderer's the worst words in the book, then what the hell are they meant for? Stubbing your toe?
