Democracy NOW! (Please don't forget: it's STILL a really good idea!)

[Ed note: this has been a real pain in the ass to post, any other suggestions for blogsites where I'm not setting off some corporate-fascist alarm-bells that give orders for someone to mess with me? I mean, it's cool that they're internally scrappin' at least, I just feel bad about it. Ugh. Oh well, on to the drama...]

Okay, blogger.com won't let me load their bomb-ass logo, but screw them, I friggin' love the picture above.

But check here for what I'm talking about...

http://blackkrishna.blogspot.com/2005/09/democracy-now-because-really-its-just.html

Or heck, just go here to see the logo, make sense of the world, and believe in the people who are trying to help make it better. Or heck, in light of the brilliant work done daily by the Press Corpse in making us all feel terrified and powerless, believe they really exist...

Okay, screw them again, I can't load any pictures, just take my word for it that there's a picture I love that I wanted you to see.

Bah, I think my bloggin' dayz are nigh over...

Bastards...

[Ed note: that's the picture, wikkid eh?]

Anyway...

Across the Spectrum of the Left and throughout society, while some stirring and stunning work is being done to expose various truths, we also tend to ignore all the obvious evidence that supports what we almost all cite casually:

"It doesn't matter who you vote for."

Really?

Please: define.

No seriously.

A handful of hard-to-find public figures recognize the game for what it is, and what it increasingly looks like to all of us despite the fact that we don't understand it. Just look at the new reality being created that doesn't quite make sense, and the bizarre plot changes happening at incredible speed:

"This is just pro-wrestling folks."

That statement is courtesy of Mr. Alex Jones, a gentleman of a mere 31 years on this planet. He's been exposing the "New World Order" for 8 years now, and after interviewing hundreds of people and poring through thousands of articles worldwide and official government documents, he's yet to be proven wrong.

Mahatma Gandhi once said:

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and then you win".

Mr. Jones is somewhere between being ignored and laughed at, and I'm extremely proud to share such esteemed company - albeit with a much lower profile. He's been arrested but never charged, as the evidence would then be on "the record"; and he's been slandered, mocked, and arbitrarily discredited, but never "disproven" over 8 years. He doesn't have a massive staff and budget so he's putting in crazy hours trying to fight the good fight, and he's not on Oprah, CNN, or Entertainment Tonite. But he's a well-known name with 8 million radio listeners and millions of fans of his incredible films - which he encourages people to copy and distribute. He has also been on many radio and TV talk shows, and had a memorable role in the animated film "Waking Life".

You can find his stuff at infowars.com and prisonplanet.com, and repeated and endorsed endlessly everywhere online by people like me.

That's 8 years folks: and don't trip on the term "New World Order", we all heard it said first by President George Bush Sr. a mere 15 years ago at the end of the Cold War.

That's right: the coaches are calling the plays right in front of us, and I can't even imagine what they're saying directly into the quarterbacks helmets to run them.

"Ahh!!!"

Okay...

Stop reading: NOW.

(...)

If you do, then you'll be blissfully ignorant... until you open your eyes.

Then you'll be assaulted by half-knowledge on TV, and even if you ignore that you'll be assaulted by high gas prices that you don't understand, blame those damn darkies for making us kill them over there, lose your job, lose your health, lose your rights, lose your friends as they are driven selfishly insane by the subtle moral corruption cancerously affecting every organization they belong to, and feel isolated and weak.

And then you'll become an asshole too: it's really just a self-defense technique to help fit in.

After years of letting the governments of the West sodomize the rest of the World, they've now become so powerful and callous to the endemic plight of humanity that they are finally turning their sights aggressively inward: it's time for us to pay the price for our ignorance and indifference.

Soldiers trained to fight immoral wars and dehumanize entire cultures out of 150+ U.S. military bases around the world are no longer members of the First World, they are members of the New World Order, who've been purging the military of any nobility at the highest levels for years...

It's simple really: if I savagely beat my dog every day for 10 years, it may eventually affect the way I treat my wife and kids.

See?

Simple.

How do you get "people" to run Guantanamo Bay? Abu Ghraib? Black helicopters?

How do you get "people" to perform experiments on domestic populations?

How do you get "people" to support all of this evil and much more?

We'd better figure it out...

(...)

We need to understand that the world doesn't work in black and white, nothing is either "good" or "bad", and nobody needs to be defined by any rules placed on them by themselves or others. I friggin' hate the normative neo-fascism gang-mentality that's affecting all of our thinking, I hate seeing how many people are affected by it, and will act as weird and crazy (and unique!) as I can to fight it despite taking the heat.

Screw that crap.

If you ask me why I do what I do, I'll say because I want to, and strongly recommend you do the same.

Don't do what I tell you...

Well, okay.

Fuck it: Do what I tell you.

I'm telling you to do what you tell you.

Cool?

(...)

I got some love, I got some hate, but I don't care, I gotta go my way...

(...)

Those of us who can have to be stronger than ever in a world where those drowning in their sorrows are trying to drag the rest of us under.

After all: misery loves company.

But to me: that's a pretty shitty party.

Unfortunately: that's the Nazi Party in charge.

As they gather more members and cite famously "You're either with us, or you're with the terrorists", we all make and are continuously making calls to endorse our own freedom or the tyranny they are selling. Every excuse we make for their actions makes us complicit in their results, and eventually, a victim of them.

Even if you join them, make no mistake: they can see hidden strands of moral fibre, they can sniff out fugazi true-believers, they can feel decisions made out of fear as opposed to a true love of evil, and if you have a heart left they will cut it out with a Night of the Long Knives.

I quoted that in a lyric recently just free-styling onto the page, but if you missed it just check back a couple of blogs.

Or here, I even Googled it for you:

We've got to avoid moral judgments absent any proveable harms or malicious intent against innocent victims: they confuse us into reinforcing stupid stereotypes, and into attacking anyone weaker than us for bloodsport.

FUCK FASCISM!

Does saying the "F-word" invalidate everything I do?

Make everything I say less intelligent?

Make me a bad person?

FUCK YOU!

You're full of crap.

You're just reinforcing racism and classism, I roll with cliques of all stripes and everyone swears, and you are using the tools of fools to judge others by their covers. You're just as bad as every black pastor who rallied support for the re-election of George W. Bush because he said he hates faggots, only to realize that he doesn't just hate faggots: he hates everybody.

Remember: if God is telling you something that sounds wrong, it may not be God telling you...

Pat Robertson recently called for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez' assasination, a violation of global moral and legal principles, and an endorsement of cold-blooded murder.

Yet, The 700 Club still clubs millions of its members like baby seals, keeping them trapped like Christian Crackheads in a world of fear and hate: you need to keep watching, we'll tell you exactly what to think and do, and we'll tell you we're the only ones who can give you the strength to deal with the world we sell you.

This is how the whole game works, and if your sources of strength make you feel weaker, then perhaps that's a freakin' clue...

(...)

I'm happy.

No seriously.

My S&M approach to info leaves me poppin' back up into reality feeling like I'm standing on solid ground, and I walk the streets feeling like I own them.

I'm hangin' with cute chix, making some bomb-ass music, saw buddy's band play and chilled with some old homiez, took a trip out to do a wicked little televised set, kicked-it with some O.G. revolutionaries trading contra-convo, saw another old chiquita home-girl of mine and her fam and played with her kids, and with nary 2 nickels 2 rub together I'm chillin' finishing this lil' piece of writing sober as a judge while feelin' high as a kite.

Y'all don't know, but you will: we can do this, and it feels so much better thinking we can...

Peace, (NOW!!!)

Sheehan Arrested During Anti-War Protest

By JENNIFER C. KERR, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 13 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - Cindy Sheehan, the California woman who has used her son's death in Iraq to spur the anti-war movement, was arrested Monday while protesting outside the White House.

Sheehan and several dozen other protesters sat down on the sidewalk after marching along the pedestrian walkway on Pennsylvania Avenue. Police warned them three times that they were breaking the law by failing to move along, then began making arrests.

Sheehan, 48, was the first taken into custody. She stood up and was led to a police vehicle while protesters chanted, "The whole world is watching."

Sheehan's 24-year-old son, Casey, was killed in an ambush in Sadr City, Iraq, last year. She attracted worldwide attention last month with her 26-day vigil outside President Bush's Texas ranch.

Sheehan was among several hundred demonstrators who marched around the White House on Monday and then stopped in front and began singing and chanting "Stop the war now!"

The demonstration is part of a broader anti-war effort on Capitol Hill organized by United for Peace and Justice, an umbrella group. Representatives from anti-war groups were meeting Monday with members of Congress to urge them to work to end the war and bring home the troops.

The protest following a massive demonstration Saturday on the National Mall that drew a crowd of 100,000 or more, the largest such gathering in the capital since the war began in March 2003.

On Sunday, a rally supporting the war drew roughly 500 participants. Speakers included veterans of World War II and the war in Iraq, as well as family members of soldiers killed in Iraq.

"I would like to say to Cindy Sheehan and her supporters don't be a group of unthinking lemmings. It's not pretty," said Mitzy Kenny of Ridgeley, W.Va., whose husband died in Iraq last year. The anti-war demonstrations "can affect the war in a really negative way. It gives the enemy hope."

New Accounts of Torture by U.S. Troops

Reuters | September 26 2005

U.S. Army troops subjected Iraqi detainees to severe beatings and other torture at a base in central Iraq from 2003 through 2004, often under orders or with the approval of superior officers, according to accounts from soldiers released by Human Rights Watch today. The new report, "Leadership Failure: Firsthand Accounts of Torture of Iraqi Detainees by the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division," provides soldiers' accounts of abuses against detainees committed by troops of the 82nd Airborne stationed at Forward Operating Base Mercury (FOB Mercury), near Fallujah.

Three U.S. army personnel-two sergeants and a captain-describe routine, severe beatings of prisoners and other cruel and inhumane treatment. In one incident, a soldier is alleged to have broken a detainee's leg with a baseball bat. Detainees were also forced to hold five-gallon jugs of water with their arms outstretched and perform other acts until they passed out. Soldiers also applied chemical substances to detainees' skin and eyes, and subjected detainees to forced stress positions, sleep deprivation, and extremes of hot and cold. Detainees were also stacked into human pyramids and denied food and water. The soldiers also described abuses they witnessed or participated in at another base in Iraq and during earlier deployments in Afghanistan.

According to the soldiers' accounts, U.S. personnel abused detainees as part of the military interrogation process or merely to "relieve stress." In numerous cases, they said that abuse was specifically ordered by Military Intelligence personnel before interrogations, and that superior officers within and outside of Military Intelligence knew about the widespread abuse. The accounts show that abuses resulted from civilian and military failures of leadership and confusion about interrogation standards and the application of the Geneva Conventions. They contradict claims by the Bush administration that detainee abuses by U.S. forces abroad have been infrequent, exceptional and unrelated to policy.

"The administration demanded that soldiers extract information from detainees without telling them what was allowed and what was forbidden," said Tom Malinowski, Washington Director of Human Rights Watch. "Yet when abuses inevitably followed, the leadership blamed the soldiers in the field instead of taking responsibility."

Soldiers referred to abusive techniques as "smoking" or "fucking" detainees, who are known as "PUCs," or Persons Under Control. "Smoking a PUC" referred to exhausting detainees with physical exercises (sometimes to the point of unconsciousness) or forcing detainees to hold painful positions. "Fucking a PUC" detainees referred to beating or torturing them severely. The soldiers said that Military Intelligence personnel regularly instructed soldiers to "smoke" detainees before interrogations.

One sergeant told Human Rights Watch: "Everyone in camp knew if you wanted to work out your frustration you show up at the PUC tent. In a way it was sport… One day [a sergeant] shows up and tells a PUC to grab a pole. He told him to bend over and broke the guy's leg with a mini Louisville Slugger, a metal bat."

The officer who spoke to Human Rights Watch made persistent efforts over 17 months to raise concerns about detainee abuse with his chain of command and to obtain clearer rules on the proper treatment of detainees, but was consistently told to ignore abuses and to "consider your career." He believes he was not taken seriously until he approached members of Congress to raise his concerns. When the officer made an appointment this month with Senate staff members of Senators John McCain and John Warner, he says his commanding officer denied him a pass to leave his base. The officer was interviewed several days later by investigators with the Army Criminal Investigative Division and Inspector General's office, and there were reports that the military has launched a formal investigation. Repeated efforts by Human Rights Watch to contact the 82nd Airborne Division regarding the major allegations in the report received no response.

The soldiers' accounts show widespread confusion among military units about the legal standards applicable to detainees. One of the sergeants quoted in the report described how abuse of detainees was accepted among military units:

"Trends were accepted. Leadership failed to provide clear guidance so we just developed it. They wanted intel [intelligence]. As long as no PUCs came up dead it happened. We heard rumors of PUCs dying so we were careful. We kept it to broken arms and legs and shit."

The soldiers' accounts challenge the Bush administration's claim that military and civilian leadership did not play a role in abuses. The officer quoted in the report told Human Rights Watch that he believes the abuses he witnessed in Iraq and Afghanistan were caused in part by President Bush's 2002 decision not to apply Geneva Conventions protection to detainees captured in Afghanistan:

"[In Afghanistan,] I thought that the chain on command all the way up to the National Command Authority [President Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld] had made it a policy that we were going to interrogate these guys harshly. . . . We knew where the Geneva Conventions drew the line, but then you get that confusion when the Sec Def [Secretary of Defense] and the President make that statement [that Geneva did not apply to detainees] . . . . Had I thought we were following the Geneva Conventions as an officer I would have investigated what was clearly a very suspicious situation."

The officer said that Bush's decision on Afghanistan affected detention and interrogation policy in Iraq: "None of the unit policies changed. Iraq was cast as part of the War on Terror, not a separate entity in and of itself but a part of a larger war."

As one sergeant cited in the report, discussing his duty in Iraq, said: "The Geneva Conventions is questionable and we didn't know we were supposed to be following it. . . . [W]e were never briefed on the Geneva Conventions."

Human Rights Watch called on the military to conduct a thorough investigation of the abuses described in the report, as well as all other cases of reported abuse. It urged that this investigation not be limited to low-ranking military personnel, as has been the case in previous investigations, but to examine the responsibility throughout the military chain of command.

Human Rights Watch repeated its call for the administration to appoint a special counsel to conduct a widespread criminal investigation of military and civilian personnel, including higher level officials, who may be implicated in detainee abuse in Iraq, Afghanistan or elsewhere.

Human Rights Watch also called on the U.S. Congress to create a special commission, along the lines of the 9/11 commission, to investigate prisoner abuse issues, and to enact proposed legislation prohibiting all forms of detainee treatment and interrogation not specifically authorized by the U.S. Army Field Manual on Intelligence Interrogation and all treatment prohibited by the Convention Against Torture.

"When an experienced Army officer goes out of his way to say something's systematically wrong, it's time for the administration and Congress to listen," Malinowski said. "That means allowing a genuinely independent investigation of the policy decisions that led to the abuse and communicating clear, lawful interrogation rules to the troops on the ground."

“Owning the weather”

More documents prove the Pentagon’s interest in manipulating Mother Nature

by Bob Fitrakis

Humans have long sought to control the weather. Early people learned how to make fire and modify their micro-environments; rain dances and other rituals to alleviate droughts are part of our folklore. So Columbus Alive’s December 6 cover story reporting that the government is engaged in secret experiments to control the weather should come as no surprise after a long history of “cloud seeding,” “atom splitting” and cloning revelations.

Many readers asked me for more information on chemtrails and weather modification. The first thing to realize is that this technology is an orphan of the Cold War. As the U.S. and former Soviet Union spent trillions of dollars on their militaries, their commitment to mutually assured destruction led to extensive experimentation with the use of weather as a weapon. In 1977, the Saturday Review cited a CIA report hinting that the U.S. government already had the power to massively manipulate the weather for war purposes.

As the Soviet Union disintegrated, a 1993 Isvestia article suggested the U.S. might want to partner with the Russians in peddling their top-secret technology to the world. Oleg Klugin, a high-ranking KGB officer, bragged of his involvement in geophysical weapons research to a London newspaper. The grid patterns of jet chemtrails now spotted throughout the Western world are likely the application of these technologies to new military and civilian uses.

The military is not attempting to hide its long-term goals. “Weather is a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025” is a white paper that can be found on a Pentagon-sponsored website. The paper’s abstract reads: “In 2025, U.S. aerospace forces can ‘own the weather’ by capitalizing on emerging technologies and focusing development of those technologies towards fighting applications. Such a capability offers the war fighters tools to shape the battle space in ways never before possible… In the U.S., weather modification will likely become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications.”

Wired magazine wrote about the paper and extensively quoted physicist Bernard Eastlund in its January 2000 article “Activate Cloud Shield! Zap a Twister!” The article detailed the military’s plan for “made-to-order thunderstorms” and “lightning strikes on demand.”

Eastlund managed programs for Controlled Thermal Nuclear Research for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission from 1966 to 1974, and he was a key researcher in the 1980s’ Strategic Space Initiative (aka Star Wars). Since 1996, Eastlund served as CEO and president of Eastlund Scientific Enterprises Corporation. The company boasts on its website, www.eastlundscience.com, that it specializes in “weather modification” and “tornado modification” among other high-tech services.

Eastlund considers the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) in Alaska a smaller version of what he envisions for weather modification. In response to Michael Theroux of Borderland Sciences—who asked Eastlund whether the HAARP station could affect the weather—Eastlund replied: “Significant experiments could be performed… The HAARP antenna as it is now configured modulates the auroral electrojet to induce ELF waves and thus could have an effect on the zonal winds.”

At the Space 2000 Conference and Exposition on Engineering, Construction, Operations and Business in Space, sponsored by the American Society of Civil Engineers, Eastlund outlined his plan for zapping tornados with an electromagnetic radiation beam from the proposed Thunderstorm Solar Powered Satellite he’s developing with the help of the European Space Agency and Jenkins Enterprises.

U.S. patent number 6315213, filed on November 13, is described as a method of modifying weather and should concern the public. The scientist from Wright Patterson Air Force Base who’s been talking to Columbus Alive acknowledges that planes are spraying barium salt, polymer fibers, aluminum oxide and other chemicals in the atmosphere to both modify the weather and for military communications purposes. The patent abstract specifically states: “The polymer is dispersed into the cloud and the wind of the storm agitates the mixture causing the polymer to absorb the rain. This reaction forms a gelatinous substance which precipitate to the surface below. Thus, diminishing the cloud’s ability to rain.”

Answering the age-old question, Who’ll stop the rain?: Apparently our government and a few of their closest friends in the military industrial-complex. The emergence of Edward Teller promoting this startling technology is more than scary. (Teller was the father of the H-Bomb and grand promoter of Readi Kilowatt, our perky little radiation friend from the ’50s; one of his bright ideas from the ’50s was to create harbors by nuking our own coastline.) The April 24 New York Times reported that Teller “has promoted the idea of manipulating the Earth’s atmosphere to counteract global warming.” The computer simulations on the use of aluminum oxide to counter global warming come from the Lawrence Livermore Weapons Laboratory, where Teller serves as director emeritus.

There should be little doubt that this would be a priority for the government—or for for-profit military contractors. The Columbus Dispatch reported this week that 2001 might be the second-hottest year on record (1998 holds the record as the hottest year); the eight hottest years on record have occurred since 1990. But why would the government conduct anti-global warming experiments in secret?

Investigative reporter William Thomas holds that there’s a link between the recent increase in asthma, allergies and upper respiratory ailments and the chemtrail spraying. Sound crazy? Remember, it sounded absurd when reports first came out that the government had conducted radioactivity experiments on U.S. citizens and released radiation from nuclear plants to test the effect on civilian populations. It sounded bizarre when news first filtered out that the government was engaged in the MK-Ultra mind-control experiments using LSD. The CIA and Defense Intelligence Agency admit they were responsible for many of the UFO sightings in the 1950s in order the explain away experimental military technology.

From public documents to mainstream news accounts, the record is filled with reports of weather-modifying technology left over from the Cold War. Now we have a right to know what, if anything, the government plans to do with it.

New Ranking System Slices, Dices Blogosphere Buzz
PubSub.com has released a blog and Web site ranking tool calibrated to avoid the Janet Jackson wardrobe-malfunction, buzz-of-the-minute phenomenon.
Nice blog! I like the way you've set it up. I've added it to my bookmarks!

I have a Computer Generated Websites site. It pretty much covers Computer Generated Websites related stuff. (And I've got lots of great new programs!)
Have a look sometime!

Thanks a bunch, I'm so bad at anything but rambling in urgent semi-coherency that I'm not even sure how to evaluate what programs would work best for me.

Any suggestions?

Please let me know...

Cheers! :)
