Dear Friends in Toronto,

.

Millions of people online show us they're looking for better info about how people in power really work and agreeing on it. That's better proof than a jury of 12 reviewing evidence and sending someone to jail. While mainstream history reveals bad people are usually in power, today more good people know and share what they're up to. It's not good, but the people of Toronto can handle just like others worldwide. And we have to.

Right now, we all see prices rising, a bad job market, cruel threats of scarcity that are a joke with just 30 million people in a huge resource-rich country, health risks and an uncertain future. We're supposed to see things get worse this winter. We know corporations control our governments, lie in our media, poison what we eat and drink, aren't stopping and aren't being stopped. We can't ignore it because we're all affected.

.

In 2010, with an abundant supply, we need to use the truth to take control of our City's political system. We need to find our inspiration where we get it and use it. Adults have to feel like they can do this. We can ask for more than we're being given now to get it. We can keep the lives we like. We just need to make sure our politicians to deal with our real problems, not just say the right things to get elected. That does us no good.

I'm running for Mayor of Toronto on real issues because I know most of us feel safer knowing a lot of us are hearing the truth at once and can act on it. We're bored by the race so far. We don't want candidates lying about fighting corruption by never giving us examples; lying about lowering taxes again; selling projects for kick-backs; being controversial to attract the media and so on. We know better than to accept this farce.

.

We all know good info, so we can just use calm, consistent and polite ways of sharing the truth to reject all the nonsense. We can also keep our local politicians busy working on things if we spend one hour a week asking them to. City employees can do better work they can be happier with. We can get lower taxes and toxins causing poverty and cancer. Our political system is in place. We just have to control it this election.

Men always used to defend their cultures under attack. Today, our new corporate culture is attacking men to keep us from fighting back. They know if men won't fight for their relationships, others won't and they can take over. Everyone can try, but if these issues are tough to deal with, then more men should on behalf of women, children and the elderly. That's what men do and all of us will feel better if more men remember it.

.

Everyone should learn more to protect their health, wealth and relationships, but just learning and getting used to bad things happening won't stop them. We all need to figure out the truth as best we can, then use safe, legal and normal ways to ask for things from our political system. Local elections are more important because candidates aren't controlled by political parties. The people in Toronto can control who they elect.

This election is a great chance to commit all candidates to dealing with real issues if they want to get paid $100,000 tax-dollars a year. I want to use our publicly owned Bank of Canada to get legal debt and interest free loans for our City's budget. I want to help re-direct our City's bureaucracy to evalute the truth found by normal people to help get rid of threats to our health, wealth and relationships. It can be done if we want it.

.

Globalization is the big problem for all of us. It's not a "left" or "right" issue. It's the same system in control of both sides and what we discuss. It's not natural. A few banks and corporations with inter-locking boards, international institutions and others are trying to standardize cultures worldwide to centralize their control. The people of Toronto have to resist this plan. It's the source of our problems. This election is a chance to.

Below are interviews and two documentaries explaining most of what's happening, this website has more. All our problems can be solved by understanding who causes us to have them, including why people who are scared to discuss it now may be even more scared of more things later, causing us to lose confidence in ourselves. It happens. That's why we should use this election to bring up real issues to get what we want.

.

We should all have faith in our own ability to communicate with other people in our culture about our most serious issues, whether they're personal or political, especially during an election year, plus have faith in our ability to handle our issues and others. This faith in each other is being eroded in many ways, but if we try sharing the truth, it can be restored easily. That's why our corporate culture tries to distract us from it.

Regardless of what we do, most adults know that our apathy is being deliberately created by our corporate culture. So: can we keep it and still defend our families, friends, city and country? Can we deal with real issues at crucial times? Can we look at the world and see our neighbours as fun friends to help us fight for our future? This election year, please consider saying yes and voting Vijay Sarma for Mayor of Toronto.

.

Warm regards,

Vijay

Note: Sometimes I use the stage name "Black Krishna" or "BK" to host radio shows, perform music and more after writing a poem or song a few years ago and using it to perform on stage. Using a stage-name also helped me take these issues seriously as a philosopher who thinks differently when we're not encouraged to, so while acting normal I could also spend years continuing to figure out solutions that we can use today.

.

My interviews with fellow Canadian Alan Watt on history, music, culture and more that explain nearly everything.
