CKLN 88.1 FM's Rude Awakening hosted by Black Krishna

Mood Music 2 Battle Babbylon System

Featuring: Molly Hagerty, Jesse Ventura, Ron Paul, Alex Jones

This episode: what do our favourite artists want us to "do" when we hear their best music? To buy the CD and enjoy it? To inspire us to achieve more for ourselves and each other? Can we hear it in their lyrics? How do we let people know what's really going on? What was done to let many of us know? Can tough old guys teach us anything? If 50,000 "Muse" fans (e.g.) left a stadium chanting "They will not degrade us..." and shared out valuable info, could they take back a whole city in one night?

Bilderberg Files Complaint against Dutch Journalist Micha Kat

Jurriaan Maessen | | July 4, 2010

Usually Bilderberg stifles journalists who attempt to report on the meetings by ordering the authorities of the country they happen to hold their meetings in to detain them. Remember the famous occasion when Alex Jones was detained for no less than 15 hours by Canadian immigration on orders of the Bilderberg group in June of 2006?

McGuinty refuses to apologize over G20 fence law

Maria Babbage | The Canadian Press | July 2, 2010

... “I think it’s clear now that the government made a blunder on this,” said Tory critic Garfield Dunlop.“I don’t think we need a public inquiry to do that and I don’t think we should spend millions of dollars, and that’s what it would do. ... I don’t think we can afford to do that right now. I just think the premier – in good faith – should apologize on behalf of the government.”

Angry merchants ask: Why did G20 protesters attack us?

Leslie Scrivener | Toronto Star | July 2, 2010

... When the rioters arrived at First Choice Gifts at 356 Yonge St., owner Li was away from his store having a late lunch. The place was staffed by two female university students working for the summer. Yun Zhu, 22, who’s taking engineering at McMaster, had been on the job for two months. Xiao Lin, 23, who has finished her first year of chemistry at Queen’s, had been working one month. They both immigrated to Canada from China four years ago with their families. Both were terrified but showed presence of mind. They’d heard the commotion and saw the black-clad vandals approach. “You couldn’t see them — just their eyes,” recalls Zhu. She turned off the lights while Lin locked the glass doors. “We were so scared,” continues Zhu. “Oh my God, you have no idea. They tried to get into the store. Four customers were here. Two were girls like us. Another was a couple in their 30s. They were so great. They told us, ‘Be calm, take deep breaths.’ ”
