FYI, I did a Google News search on "Rosie" last night, and emailed copies of a download-site where I posted the clip to papers who did stories on her recently. Charlie Sheen Joined By Rosie O'Donnell: 9/11 Conspiracy Theorists

Actor Charlie Sheen has now been joined by Rosie O'Donnell, adding to the chorus of conspiracy theorists that bang the drum loudly in their belief that the attacks on 9/11 are not exactly as America watched them unfold on live TV.

Page Six is reporting that Sheen has agreed to narrate a new version of "Loose Change," which claims that a corrupt faction within the federal government orchestrated the mass murder at the World Trade Center in a controlled take down of the buildings.

The 'Two and a Half Men' star also said in the radio interview that on 9/11/2001 he "was up early and we were gonna do a pre-shoot on Spin City, the show I used to do, I was watching the news and the north tower was burning. I saw the south tower hit live, that famous wide shot where it disappears behind the building and then we see the tremendous fireball."

"There was a feeling, it just didn't look any commercial jetliner I've flown on any time in my life and then when the buildings came down later on that day I said to my brother 'call me insane, but did it sorta look like those buildings came down in a controlled demolition'?"

As far as the plane that crashed into the Pentagon - Sheen isn't even certain that event even occurred. Red State.com notes that Sheen outlined his disbelief that the official story of what happened at the Pentagon matched the crash site's evidence.

"Show us this incredible maneuvering, just show it to us. Just show us how this particular plane pulled off these maneuvers. 270 degree turn at 500 miles and hour descending 7,000 feet in two and a half minutes, skimming across treetops the last 500 meters."

Sheen is reportedly in talks with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's Magnolia Pictures to distribute the picture. Sheen has called for a new independent probe of the attack, Page Six reports, telling Alex Jones' radio show: "It seems to me like 19 amateurs with box cutters taking over four commercial airliners and hitting 75 percent of their targets, that feels like a conspiracy theory. It raises a lot of questions."

Meanwhile, on her blog, O'Donnell pushes the widely debunked rundown of the collapse of 7 World Trade Center from the whatreallyhappened.com Web site, created by conspiracy theorist Matt Rivero.

O'Donnell repeats his discredited theories almost verbatim, but she's mindless so one would kind-of expect that.

In a post dated March 15, 2007 she writes:

[WTC 7] contained offices of the FBI, Department of Defense, IRS (which contained prodigious amounts of corporate tax fraud, including Enron's), US Secret Service, Securities & Exchange Commission (with more stock fraud records), and Citibank's Salomon Smith Barney, the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management and many other financial institutions. [Online Journal]

The SEC has not quantified the number of active cases in which substantial files were destroyed [by the collapse of WTC 7]. Reuters news service and the Los Angeles Times published reports estimating them at 3,000 to 4,000. They include the agency's major inquiry into the manner in which investment banks divvied up hot shares of initial public offerings during the high-tech boom. …"Ongoing investigations at the New York SEC will be dramatically affected because so much of their work is paper-intensive," said Max Berger of New York's Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann. "This is a disaster for these cases." [New York Lawyer]

Citigroup says some information that the committee is seeking [about WorldCom] was destroyed in the Sept. 11 terror attack on the World Trade Center. Salomon had offices in 7 World Trade Center, one of the buildings that collapsed in the aftermath of the attack. The bank says that back-up tapes of corporate emails from September 1998 through December 2000 were stored at the building and destroyed in the attack. [TheStreet]

Inside [WTC 7 was] the US Secret Service's largest field office with more than 200 employees. …"All the evidence that we stored at 7 World Trade, in all our cases, went down with the building," according to US Secret Service Special Agent David Curran. [TechTV]

Rosie is an absolute embarrassment when she talks politics. If you needed any proof - just last week O'Donnell claimed that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed only confessed because he was tortured.
