SWINE FLU SHOTS: GTA Have Your Say Day + 2 Million Toronto Facebook Users?

Hey TTS,

Toronto is supposed to have the most Facebook users in the world. We love Facebook. So, anyone can help let 2 million Toronto Facebook users know they can express their opinion on whether Canadians should have to take a swine flu shot or not at Dundas Square on Saturday, October 17th, from 1 - 9 pm.

They can anonymously check a "Yes, No or Maybe" box in a survey. They can sign a petition against the shots. They can take a picture holding a sign saying how they feel, or they can share their thoughts on audio and video to be shared via YouTube and other sites. No matter how they feel, they have options.

Since the CBC reports that regular swine flu shots are supposed to start in 10 days, we should get the word out now. People should know they have a chance to stop the swine flu shots from being introduced and then made mandatory before the process starts. A handful of other Googled links are below.

Incidentally, if we don't manage to stop mandatory flu shots, having a record of our efforts to warn the public and asking our public servants to help stop this will give us the credibility to stop the next attacks. The bad guys are rolling-out all the bad stuff they wrote down that we complained about. So, it's on.

But, we're lucky that there are a few simple things we can do. As long as we have the internet to do research, figuring out who's responsible for this can be done in minutes. After that, we can help others petition our institutions. Nothing works perfectly, but this and many other efforts can help back them off.

P.S. What the heck, thinking of what to do is better than saying "there's nothing we can do"... :-)
