Save CKLN Radio 88.1 FM - IMPORTANT Big Push: Write directly to the CRTC

.

Hi,

The CRTC has informed us that people wishing to comment on the decision to revoke our licence should use the CRTC's question/complaint page at:

http://www.crtc.gc.ca/RapidsCCM/Register.asp?lang=E

We will be sending all the comments we've received at board@ckln.fm to the CRTC but this week, everyone on this list should use the form at the above link to register their complaint. The form's cumbersome to use, but there you go:)

Please fill click the above link and fill out your complaint today. Please be polite and please encourage your friends to use this link as well.

Thanks,

.

Just to speak to the process of writing directly — it really has shown results in the past. It's a hassle, but it's how the CRTC tracks comments and follows up, and is a system of accountability for them.

On this page, toward the middle, they explain their process:

http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/INFO_SHT/G8.HTM

Please read these instructions, they'll tell you small things like include or name or your complaint will not be processed. Throughout the process of the online form you will be asked questions such as whether or not you want your comment to be public. It also mentions that complaints made by phone must be followed up in writing. Please try to file your complaints as complaints, rather than questions, as they are processed differently.

CKLN is NOT a member of the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council, so please do not click on the link to their complaints process.

I'd suggest the info to write to the CRTC be on CKLN's website. If all of the people signing the petition were commenting directly to the CRTC there would be an impact. Some people may want to note the petition in their comments to the CRTC.

.

Sign The Petition: CKLN must remain on the airwaves!

LOCAL UPDATE: Hip Hop town hall meeting to discuss this on WEDNESDAY, FEB. 9, 6-9:30PM, 55JOHN ST(Metro Hall), ROOM 309...come prepared to be heard! Everyone welcome!

To: CRTC, NCRA

CKLN 88.1FM MUST REMAIN ON THE AIRWAVES!!!!

We the Toronto community are shocked at the recent revoking of CKLN 88.1FM's broadcasting license by the CRTC. CKLN is the heart of our community. It has represented a multitude of communities throughout its history, communities that have been traditionally marginalized and ignored by the mainstream media. It is a major player in the distribution of alternative news and information, and has been the genesis of hundreds of careers from local artists to music lovers, comedians to dancers.

This episode: why did think tanks Chatham House and the CFR fail miserably in their goal of "preventing future wars"? Why is Rothschild banking not blamed more for being "at the centre of the world's financial markets for over 200 years"? Can we do primary source research on the new world order? Read military industrial complex predictions in the paper? Watch them on TV? How do we inform people so they don't protest without knowing what to ask for? Can we share info for better health to start?

CKLN Radio's Rude Awakening Morning Show is hosted by Black Krishna, aka BK, aka Vijay Sarma, aka Vij, on Mondays and Thursdays from 6 - 7 am EST on CKLN 88.1 FM, Rogers Cable 947 and CKLN.fm online. Chatham House History

Chatham HouseIn 1919 British and American delegates to the Paris Peace Conference, under the leadership of Lionel Curtis, conceived the idea of an Anglo-American Institute of foreign affairs to study international problems with a view to preventing future wars. In the event, the British Institute of International Affairs was founded separately in London in July 1920 and received its Royal Charter in 1926 to become The Royal Institute of International Affairs. The American delegates developed the Council on Foreign Relations in New York as a sister institute. Both are now among the world's leading international affairs think-tanks.

Think tank - Wikipedia

A think tank (or policy institute) is an organization that conducts research and engages in advocacy in areas such as social policy, political strategy, economy, science or technology issues, industrial or business policies, or military advice.[1] Many think tanks are non-profit organizations, which some countries such as the United States and Canada provide with tax exempt status. Other think tanks are funded by governments, advocacy groups, or businesses, or derive revenue from consulting or research work related to their projects.[2]

Revolution, flashmobs, and brain chips. A grim vision of the future

Richard Norton-Taylor | The Guardian | April 9, 2007

Information chips implanted in the brain. Electromagnetic pulse weapons. The middle classes becoming revolutionary, taking on the role of Marx's proletariat. The population of countries in the Middle East increasing by 132%, while Europe's drops as fertility falls. "Flashmobs" - groups rapidly mobilised by criminal gangs or terrorists groups.

This is the world in 30 years' time envisaged by a Ministry of Defence team responsible for painting a picture of the "future strategic context" likely to face Britain's armed forces. It includes an "analysis of the key risks and shocks". Rear Admiral Chris Parry, head of the MoD's Development, Concepts & Doctrine Centre which drew up the report, describes the assessments as "probability-based, rather than predictive".

Canada's military peers into future, and it's scary

Alan Woods | Toronto Star | October 17, 2009

In the worst-case scenarios, oil prices quadruple, drones patrol the skies, global wars spill into cities

OTTAWA - The war between India and Pakistan spills over into Toronto's immigrant suburbs. A terrorist sleeper cell poisons Montreal's water system. Mandatory military service is enacted for young and new Canadians.

While the Armed Forces constantly project scenarios for which to train, these hypothetical situations are rarely publicized. Although they appear far-fetched, the military is obliged to prepare for the worst, or risk being unready in the event of a catastrophe.

A 10-year forecast completed for the air force lays out likely trends in areas such as oil prices and aviation technologies, but also a series of "strategic shocks" – unpredictable events that could throw the best-laid plans off course.

Debit cards to replace welfare cheques?

Toronto has taken a first step toward replacing welfare cheques with reloadable electronic cards similar to debit cards, a move that would allow thousands of welfare recipients to avoid payday lenders’ high cheque-cashing fees.

Ontario to launch $1 million blitz to explain soaring energy costs

Robert Benzie | Toronto Star | February 7, 2011

OTTAWA—Premier Dalton McGuinty is hitting Ontarians where they live to explain rising energy prices and what’s being done to help.

Queen’s Park is distributing a six-page pamphlet this week to every household in Ontario as part of a public-relations blitz to tout the new 10 per cent discount on electricity.

The Star obtained an advance copy of the leaflet, which is costing about $1 million to mail out.

“What we’re trying to convey is why we’re doing this,” McGuinty said late Saturday after a 40-minute speech to 300 Liberals at the party’s pre-election policy conference here.

Why not a metered Internet?

Iain Marlow | Globe and Mail | February 7, 2011

More than half of Canadians surveyed last summer thought their Internet plans were unlimited – a veritable buffet of bandwidth, with all the high-definition video streaming and file-transferring they could consume.

How wrong they were. More than 90 per cent of the country’s plans are finite, with set limits and stinging charges for going over. The vast majority of people in that poll by Solutions Research Group had never even heard of the concept of paying for Internet based on how much they used. ...

... But consider the incredible week that just was: On Monday, growing consumer uproar over the regulator’s move on Internet pricing forced Industry Minister Tony Clement to announce he’ll examine the matter; then, on Tuesday, the Prime Minister tweeted that he wanted a formal review of it; on Thursday, the CRTC’s chairman was hauled out of a crucial set of hearings to appear before a committee of hostile MPs to discuss it; and on Friday, none other than celebrity blogger Perez Hilton chimed in on the state of Canada’s Internet with: “Yikes!!”

At the root of the circus this issue has become, though, is one simple question:

Should Canadians’ Internet use, like hydro or water, be metered?

Inane Conversations: The Power of Talking About Nothing

Kari Henly | Huffington Post | Feruary 6, 2011

This post is dedicated to my "coffee girls." For the past eight years, I have met with the same group of women at a local bagel joint on Thursday mornings. Having met when our children were in the same preschool, we have seen each other through divorces, job changes, my stress having twins, and the like. Our time together is so sacred that we rearrange our lives to make it work and physically miss each other when we have to skip a few weeks. Guess what we talk about? Nothing in particular. Nevertheless, it is a community that I cherish deeply. Do any of you have a simliar experience?

Bread and Circus on Superbowl Sunday

Dr. Susan Rubin | February 6, 2011

The phrase “bread and circus” was used by a Roman writer to deplore the declining heroism of Romans after the Roman Republic ceased to exist. The government kept the Roman populace happy by distributing free food and staging huge spectacles.

When I see Jersey Shore, the Kardashians and NFL Football on TV with tons of advertisements for food that is not really food, I wonder if we are watching the decline of American civilization.

Record crowd expected for Super Bowl

CD Review: Chet Singh, Recessionary Revolutionaries

Jah Works | December 7, 2010

www.myspace.com/chetsingh

Perhaps revolution itself is in a recession these days. There are so many significant problems requiring revolutionary solutions, but it’s difficult to demonstrate that great strides are being made with any regularity or promise of lasting success. Not that intelligent, concerned, talented people aren’t involving themselves in the struggle. It’s just that the issues are so numerous and complex, and that the forces for the ultimately destructive status quo are so entrenched. Or so it seems to some of us.

Samara

Political leadership.
Citizen participation.
Public affairs journalism.

Samara is a charitable organization that studies citizen engagement with Canadian democracy. Through our projects we hope to strengthen the health of our democracy and encourage others to do the same.

Samara was created out of a belief in the importance of public service and public leadership. We are named for a samara, which is the winged "helicopter" seed that falls from maple, elm and ash trees.

Our work focuses on three areas: political leadership; the participation of citizens in public life; and public affairs journalism.

.

What is CAPP Toronto?

CAPP Toronto is a non-partisan, non-profit organization committed to informing the population of Canada about issues that may concern them; and to improving the democratic system structure that we are beholden to by helping inspire people to become active citizens and get involved in politics, either through action or education.

Forged out of the public reaction to the Prorogation of Parliament on December 30, 2009, CAPP Toronto’s members come from all political parties. Often CAPP Toronto members are not affiliated with any political party, but are still concerned with the direction our society is headed. CAPP Toronto members come from every walk of life. We represent the woven tapestry of Canadian society.

Through education and active engagement in democratic activities, CAPP Toronto strives to return democratic power to Canadian citizens.

The Year in Democracy

Aaron Wherry | Maclean's | January 5, 2011

Samara is soliciting nominations for the best in democracy for 2010 and Alison Loat notes the trend of the current entries:

"From the submissions made so far, it would seem that Canadian democracy is on the defensive. Many of the entries were public outcry in reaction to a policy decision, a government move, or even an individual politician. What does this say about Canadian democracy? Does democracy always need defending?"

Tweet Psych: Watch Mind Control Happen Fast In Real-Time (By AdjudiTwitting) And See How CAMH Sick's Our Kids On Us

TweetPsych

http://tweetpsych.com/

.

Just a head's up, since we're a few months from 2012, we'll probably have to act fast to avert catastrophe. This basically means doing what everyone who's ever looked into this suggests, which is fight the info war until everyone around us knows what's going on and can act on it. Whoever wants it more, with numbers, will win.

That doesn't mean we should believe every crazy prediction about 2012, or anything else, just that we should understand that we're usually given hot topics to discuss for a while to change our behaviour by experts who understand how to do this. So, between the stories of Mayan prophecies and military PSYOP's, something is up.

On that note, on to attacks on our minds by the "system" and it's acolytes. Above is "TweetPsych", which judges our ability to Twit and compares it to fellow Twitters. Check it out. It may make you feel self-conscious and judgmental while helping to standardize thought globally. You may not care, but it's working on us somewhere.

Since the old saying is "As above, so below" (Baphomet), we have another attack on our minds from CAMH training children to attack their parents to get them to stop smoking, just like they're trained by the state to attack for not being "green" enough. They better know about the new world order before they're in charge of enforcing it.

We're not given technology promoted everywhere like "Twitter" and "Text" and "Smart" phones exclusively for our benefit and because they sell. They're provided for surveillance and control. We're told by the mass media they're useful tools for revolution. We should wonder why. Do they really have an interest in helping us out?

Online communications can destroy offline communications. People are more a--holish online than off, more fractured and shallow in their thoughts, and so on. It has a spillover effect that leads us to trust offline interactions less. We need to talk about serious things in-depth offline to stop us from being unable to stop things like this.

Each stage of the new world order's plan is playing out right now as predicted.

Instead of getting randomly excited as part of the online hive, let's focus.

There are things going on right around us that we can deal with.

New Storybook Tackles Kids' Smoking Fears

Trevor Maimann | Epoch Times | January 20, 2011

With the prevalence of anti-smoking messages, kids today are hip to the dangers associated with smoking and may worry if their parents smoke.

To help such kids, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) has published a storybook called “Smoking and Quitting: Clean Air for All” that will be distributed to elementary schools and public libraries across the country during National Non-Smoking Week, Jan. 16 – 22.

The book covers questions children may have, such as why their parents smoke when they know it’s bad for them, whether they themselves will get sick from the smoke, and why some people have a hard time quitting smoking.

“Kids grow up hearing about the dangers of smoking, including some messages that are really aimed at adults,” said Dr. Irfan Mian, a psychiatrist in CAMH’s Child, Youth and Family Program.

“This can cause confusion and concern for kids, especially if parents, caregivers, other family members and people they admire smoke. It’s important to talk to kids about the realities concerning smoking and encourage them to discuss their feelings. Discussing the facts is one of the most important things you can do for them.”

Activists and Local Communities Gaining Ground on Exposing Wal-Mart For Deceptive Practices

John Galt
Infowars.com
February 6, 2011

The myth of Wal-Mart as an indispensable part of Americana that presents the poor with a wide selection of affordable products is coming unraveled.

The revelation that Wal-Mart actually kills jobs and damages local communities is contradictory to their own brand marketing, but in a Yahoo news story Wal-Mart is drawing ire from the very people who it claims to be helping. The story cites a report released in January by City University of New York’s Hunter College Center for Community Planning, which studied 50 Wal-Mart stores and the impact they have had on the surrounding communities. The conclusions are striking:

The overwhelming weight of the independent research on the impact of Wal-Mart stores . . . shows that Wal-Mart depresses area wages and labor benefits . . . pushes out more retail jobs than it creates, and results in more retail vacancies.

This report has led the City Council to condemn Wal-Mart, saying:

‘To me, Wal-Mart is definitely not welcome in this city,’ asserted Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito. ‘It is a union-busting, tax-evading, wage-suppressing, job-destroying, civil-rights abusing, food stamp-denying, multi-national corporation that has no place in this city.’

Cancer Causus, Childrenified of the Corny, News vs. Olds, And Why We Get The Same Obvious Advice Every Day

.

Just a head's up, since the new world order is using "science" and "experts" to replace "religion" and "priests", we should see what they're up to before we start believing even the good advice we get. Especially when we've seen it before. A lot.

For example, staring at us in big bold letters was the headline "Three simple things to do to avoid cancer" from Yahoo Canada's main page, with a woman's hand with a yellow LiveStrong (Lance Armstrong's cancer cause) band and a finger raised.

.

After clicking on the article, it said one-third of people in the U.S., U.K. and Canada could cut their risk of getting cancer if "people ate healthier food, drank less alcohol and exercised more". Why is this still a news story? Don't we know this by now?

Cognitive dissonance may be caused by rejecting a familiar reality, so people might be tempted to say we need to be reminded more often. That may be true, but one could accomplish that with a "be healthy" prayer to themselves. This is not news.

.

Mainsteam corporate narratives often ignore new information in favour of the basics, leaving us stuck with them. Plus, health authorities frustration with our inability to handle the basics reinforces the idea that people are stupid and need guidance.

Since Big Cancer, the most profitable group of charities in the world, says about half of people in North America (etc.) are expected to get it, we'll either believe it was because we're stupid, or figure out it's because the new world order's into eugenics.

.

Billions of dollars have gone into curing cancer, and yet, all that the big global health authorities in this article can say is "eat better, drink less and exercise"? Is this really the best that 80 years of research and thousands of scientists can come up with?

Adults are being spoken to like children. So, even if one thinks they're not affected, people can find better info, and they don't care, the point is it's having an impact on the conditions wherever we live. Being talked to like children turns us into children.

.

Take a look at the article for yourself. All it says is people are too stupid to do simple things; so lots of us will get cancer; and giant global health authorities should handle it. This is the new world order planned rule over zombified slave masses in action.

Fortunately, we have the goods on the guys behind this. Unfortunately, it involves learning that they're not making mistakes, they're stone-cold eugenicist killers. At the top anyway. Fortunately, good precedents have been established in the info war.

.

Once lots of people simplify and share great info from great health websites like NaturalNews.com, Mercola.com, TheNHF.com and others, plus stuff from sites like Infowars.com for the big picture, we can stop this instead of learning to accept it.

As long as people don't mind other people doing this where they live, it can be done. People need to get out and establish peaceful precedents before this gets uglier. Once enough people know, we can push our politicians to get all the toxins out too.

.

Keep in mind that it's getting harder to spend our way out of this, especially with the crazy combinations of wireless radiation, genetic engineering, chemtrails, poisons in our products and more. Buying "organic" is expensive and ultimately not enough.

People should try to use all options to live healthy, but if people still have to interact with other people, we'll all run into hardcore victims of the eugenics program soon. Everyone who's ever known has said to get the word out. It can beat this stuff too.

.

Nobody can say people didn't tell them if the people where they live tell them.

All it takes is calmly and consistently sharing good info where they live.

Below are better sources of info on cancer than recycled cliches.

Simple life changes could stop millions of cancers

Kate Kelland | Reuters / Yahoo News | February, 4, 2011

LONDON (Reuters) - About a third of all common cancers in the United States, China and Britain could be prevented each year if people ate healthier food, drank less alcohol and exercised more, health experts said on Friday.

Estimates from the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) and the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) suggest that making simple lifestyle changes could prevent some 40 percent of breast cancers alone in Britain and the United States, as well as tens of thousands of colon, stomach and prostate cancers.

"It is distressing that even in 2011, people are dying unnecessarily from cancers that could be prevented through maintaining a healthy weight, diet, physical activity and other lifestyle factors," Martin Wiseman, a WCRF medical and scientific adviser, said in statement.

In China, 620,000 cases, or 27 percent are preventable, the WCRF said, as are about 35 percent, or 340,000, in the United States and 37 percent in Britain. Healthier lifestyles could prevent 61,000 cancers in Brazil and 79,000 in Britain.

The WCRF findings are backed by World Health Organisation (WHO) recommendations, which say regular exercise can prevent many diseases such as cancers, heart diseases and diabetes.

Cancer is a leading cause of death around the world and its incidence is rising. Each year around 12.7 million people discover they have cancer and 7.6 million people die from some form of the disease. There are about 200 known types of cancer.

According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), cancer will kill more than 13.2 million people a year by 2030, almost double the number it killed in 2008 -- and the vast majority of deaths will be in poorer countries.

In a separate statement, the Geneva-based WHO said low levels of physical activity are the main cause of an estimated 21 to 25 percent of breast and colon cancers, 27 percent of diabetes cases and 30 percent of heart disease cases worldwide.

Rachel Thompson, the WCRF's deputy head of science, said that while the message was simple -- that not smoking, eating good food and being a healthy weight can help ward off many cancers -- it was still a difficult one to get across.

"It's all very well us saying 'this is what you need to eat and this is how much physical activity you need to do', but we need to make it easier for people to make those changes," she said. "Everybody has a role in that -- from international organizations, to governments, to people themselves."

The WHO says adults should do at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week. This could be done by walking for 30 minutes five times per week or by cycling to work every day.

Peter Baldini, head of the World Lung Foundation, also called on all governments to introduce smoke-free laws and raise the price of cigarettes.

Tobacco kills millions of smokers every year, and tobacco-related lung cancers also kill hundreds of thousands of people who don't smoke but have been exposed to it second-hand.

"There isn't a magic bullet to cure all forms of cancer, but we have the opportunity and the obligation to protect people from developing cancer wherever possible," Baldini said.

Why have cancer cures proven since the 1920's been suppressed for 90 years by the same banks and drug companies who tell us to "run for a cure"? How does a 70 year old man fight fake environmentalism for 30 years? How does an 87 year old woman fight fake pharmacide cures? Why are so many heads "bowed" texting all the time? Michael Phelps Rocked Young Jeezy Inspired Playlist on His iPod Prior To Races: Why his playlist more than any singular item serves as the most important Phelps memorabilia

Phelps, a (commercial) hip hop head recently said it was Young Jeezy whose tracks âI Got What it Takesâ and âGo Gettaâ with R. Kelly provided the inspirational soundtrack that he bumped before every race at the Olympics in Beijing. âIt would be great if I could holler at Phelps,â Jeezy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitutionâs Peach Buzz column. âAnd itâs a compliment that the man found inspiration in the music I do for the streets over here, over there in Beijing.â

Friend Spam Is The Worst Kind Of All

Michael Arrington | TechCrunch | February 20, 2008

Facebook announced a number of steps today to battle the growing problem of application spam â stuff that is sent from your Facebook friends asking you to try out new services. Generally, applications force users to send these invitations in order to get access to the more interesting features. The result can be dozens or hundreds of messages a day asking you to join some service that you really donât want to join. And if you do join it, you make the whole spam cycle continue.

Socially active environment can cause cancer tumors to shrink and even disappear

S.L. Baker | NaturalNews.com | July 28, 2010

... The new study, published in the July 9th issues of the journal Cell found that when mice with cancer were given enriched living conditions and a boost in their social life, their tumors shrank -- and some of their cancers disappeared completely. That's powerful evidence, the scientists say, that social connections and an individual's mental state, play an important role in the way the body responds to malignancies. "Animals' interaction with the environment has a profound influence on the growth of cancer -- more than we knew was possible," Matthew During, who headed the study, said in a statement to the press.

Her powerful, inspired message of informed hope is reaching millions of readers who are learning about the many safe, effective options for treating cancer that exist outside the realm of the conventional cancer industry (chemotherapy, surgery and radiation). Recently, Suzanne Somers spoke with NaturalNews editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, to share the inspiration for her new book Knockout. "People are just starving for some new information... for other options, for hope in [treating] cancer," she explained.

Mammograms cause breast cancer (and other cancer facts you probably never knew)

Dawn Prate | NaturalNews.com | August 15, 2005

... Is mammography an effective tool for detecting tumors? Some critics say no. In a Swedish study of 60,000 women, 70 percent of the mammographically detected tumors weren't tumors at all. These "false positives" aren't just financial and emotional strains, they may also lead to many unnecessary and invasive biopsies. In fact, 70 to 80 percent of all positive mammograms do not, upon biopsy, show any presence of cancer. ...

... Many critics of mammography cite the hazardous health effects of radiation. In 1976, the controversy over radiation and mammography reached a saturation point. At that time mammographic technology delivered five to 10 rads (radiation-absorbed doses) per screening, as compared to 1 rad in current screening methods. In women between the ages of 35 and 50, each rad of exposure increased the risk of breast cancer by one percent, according to Dr. Frank Rauscher, then-director of the NCI.

According to Russell L. Blaylock, MD, one estimate is that annual radiological breast exams increase the risk of breast cancer by two percent a year. So over 10 years the risk will have increased 20 percent. In the 1960s and 70s, women, even those who received 10 screenings a year, were never told the risk they faced from exposure. In the midst of the 1976 radiation debate, Kodak, a major manufacturer of mammography film, took out full-page ads in scientific journals entitled "About breast cancer and X-rays: A hopeful message from industry on a sober topic."

G. Edward Griffin - A World Without Cancer - The Story Of Vitamin B17

55:13 - 4 years ago

G. Edward Griffin marshals the evidence that cancer is a deficiency disease - like scurvy or pellagra - aggravated by the lack of an essential food compound in modern man's diet. That substance is vitamin B17. In its purified form developed for cancer therapy, it is known as Laetrile.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4312930190281243507#

... Why has orthodox medicine waged war against this non-drug approach? The author contends that the answer is to be found, not in science, but in politics â and is based upon the hidden economic and power agenda of those who dominate the medical establishment.

With billions of dollars spent each year on research, with other billions taken in on the sale of cancer-related drugs, and with fund-raising at an all-time high, there are now more people making a living from cancer than dying from it. If the solution should be found in a simple vitamin, this gigantic industry could be wiped out over night. The result is that the politics of cancer therapy is more complicated than the science.

FLASHBACK: We're Watching The "Revolutions, Flashmobs and Brain Chips" Program Predicted In The Mainstream Media In 2007

.

Just a head's up, the new world order banksters and financiers and armies of think tanks keep a close eye on what's going on. Nobody in power stays there without doing this. And influencing it. They knew what would happen when the West moved nearly ALL manufacturing to China. They knew what would happen when they allowed countries to get trillions in debt. They know what's going to happen for the next 30 years. They published it in The Guardian, the NY Times of Europe, in 2007.

Four years later we can see it, so this is a worthwhile flashback, re-printed below a video with Alan Watt explaining it. It says the UK Ministry of Defence is planning to deal with "Revolutions, flashmobs and brain chips", among other crazy scenarios. Keep in mind they're not planning on stopping ANY of this, just planning for it. Similar articles were in U.S. and Canadian papers as part of NATO. We need to have a sense of history to understand where we are today or we'll be taught to accept this.

While 90% of people working anywhere are probably decent, we are given ways of thinking and talking by the people in charge that hit the information echo chamber and change our cultures. The situation in Egypt - and normalization of the previously unheard of (by most) Muslim Brotherhood - is part of the set up for the "Clash of Civilizations" (Samuel P. Huntington), one of several ways to think that we've been given to make it all seem "natural" as opposed to "new world order" pre-planning.

Anybody in the world can read this and predict the future, or at least quote what the trillon-dollar defence industry thinks, and they would know. That means the news is mostly like a serialized TV show, with many episodes in the can. When we talk about "Egypt" or "protests" or anything big, it's often meant to be as worthwhile as talking about "Jersey Shore". Except, it helps to change the way we all and advance the big agenda with fake dialectics that take us out of the game. Or, out of control.

People in our cultures are often absorbing propaganda too fast to think about it, so we learn what to quickly and safely repeat in social circles. One way to beat this is to have more pro-active and tangible goals where we live. By definition they beat the right things to say about the hot topic of the day. It's been proven forever, so it's only not in style now because the new world order wants to go for (us) broke and don't want us to stop them. That means more (new world) order out of chaos coming up.

Since the goal of all this is a vastly reduced and brain-chipped slave population, we should realize that practicing rationalizing and running out of the way will only lead to more until there's nowhere to go. They probably want us to practice feeling helpless until we get good at it. People can try to have a good time and ignore it, or they can try to have a good time and deal with it. As long as people where you live accept that other people are fighting for their future, more people should step up in the info war.

Everyone can finally see we're losing our freedoms. It's in the media all the time. Curiously, the logical end-result of this slide isn't discussed very much. Beyond the many new crisis, Canada's army thinks we might need a draft soon. While this goes on, we'll struggle to make the TV make sense, even if it costs us dollars. Our new ability to communicate (too) quickly is reducing our ability communicate well. We have options that we all need to work to normalize locally before this happens.

The 90-page report comments on widely discussed issues such as the growing economic importance of India and China, the militarisation of space, and even what it calls "declining news quality" with the rise of "internet-enabled, citizen-journalists" and pressure to release stories "at the expense of facts". It includes other, some frightening, some reassuring, potential developments that are not so often discussed.

New weapons

An electromagnetic pulse will probably become operational by 2035 able to destroy all communications systems in a selected area or be used against a "world city" such as an international business service hub. The development of neutron weapons which destroy living organisms but not buildings "might make a weapon of choice for extreme ethnic cleansing in an increasingly populated world". The use of unmanned weapons platforms would enable the "application of lethal force without human intervention, raising consequential legal and ethical issues". The "explicit use" of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons and devices delivered by unmanned vehicles or missiles.

Technology

By 2035, an implantable "information chip" could be wired directly to the brain. A growing pervasiveness of information communications technology will enable states, terrorists or criminals, to mobilise "flashmobs", challenging security forces to match this potential agility coupled with an ability to concentrate forces quickly in a small area.

Marxism

"The middle classes could become a revolutionary class, taking the role envisaged for the proletariat by Marx," says the report. The thesis is based on a growing gap between the middle classes and the super-rich on one hand and an urban under-class threatening social order: "The world's middle classes might unite, using access to knowledge, resources and skills to shape transnational processes in their own class interest". Marxism could also be revived, it says, because of global inequality. An increased trend towards moral relativism and pragmatic values will encourage people to seek the "sanctuary provided by more rigid belief systems, including religious orthodoxy and doctrinaire political ideologies, such as popularism and Marxism".

Pressures leading to social unrest

By 2010 more than 50% of the world's population will be living in urban rather than rural environments, leading to social deprivation and "new instability risks", and the growth of shanty towns. By 2035, that figure will rise to 60%. Migration will increase. Globalisation may lead to levels of international integration that effectively bring inter-state warfare to an end. But it may lead to "inter-communal conflict" - communities with shared interests transcending national boundaries and resorting to the use of violence.

Population and Resources

The global population is likely to grow to 8.5bn in 2035, with less developed countries accounting for 98% of that. Some 87% of people under the age of 25 live in the developing world. Demographic trends, which will exacerbate economic and social tensions, have serious implications for the environment - including the provision of clean water and other resources - and for international relations. The population of sub-Saharan Africa will increase over the period by 81%, and that of Middle Eastern countries by 132%.

The Middle East

The massive population growth will mean the Middle East, and to a lesser extent north Africa, will remain highly unstable, says the report. It singles out Saudi Arabia, the most lucrative market for British arms, with unemployment levels of 20% and a "youth bulge" in a state whose population has risen from 7 million to 27 million since 1980. "The expectations of growing numbers of young people [in the whole region] many of whom will be confronted by the prospect of endemic unemployment ... are unlikely to be met," says the report.

Islamic militancy

Resentment among young people in the face of unrepresentative regimes "will find outlets in political militancy, including radical political Islam whose concept of Umma, the global Islamic community, and resistance to capitalism may lie uneasily in an international system based on nation-states and global market forces", the report warns. The effects of such resentment will be expressed through the migration of youth populations and global communications, encouraging contacts between diaspora communities and their countries of origin.

Tension between the Islamic world and the west will remain, and may increasingly be targeted at China "whose new-found materialism, economic vibrancy, and institutionalised atheism, will be an anathema to orthodox Islam".

Iran

Iran will steadily grow in economic and demographic strength and its energy reserves and geographic location will give it substantial strategic leverage. However, its government could be transformed. "From the middle of the period," says the report, "the country, especially its high proportion of younger people, will want to benefit from increased access to globalisation and diversity, and it may be that Iran progressively, but unevenly, transforms...into a vibrant democracy."

Terrorism

Casualties and the amount of damage inflicted by terrorism will stay low compared to other forms of coercion and conflict. But acts of extreme violence, supported by elements within Islamist states, with media exploitation to maximise the impact of the "theatre of violence" will persist. A "terrorist coalition", the report says, including a wide range of reactionary and revolutionary rejectionists such as ultra-nationalists, religious groupings and even extreme environmentalists, might conduct a global campaign of greater intensity".

Climate change

There is "compelling evidence" to indicate that climate change is occurring and that the atmosphere will continue to warm at an unprecedented rate throughout the 21st century. It could lead to a reduction in north Atlantic salinity by increasing the freshwater runoff from the Arctic. This could affect the natural circulation of the north Atlantic by diminishing the warming effect of ocean currents on western Europe. "The drop in temperature might exceed that of the miniature ice age of the 17th and 18th centuries."

The report predicts that oil prices will have doubled, tripled or quadrupled by 2019, unmanned attack aircraft will police the skies, and the Arctic will have become the zone of interest for the world's great powers.

A lethal, all-commando Canadian army may not stay in Kandahar, but it will be fighting terrorists in a geographic rainbow known as the "arc of instability" – a region stretching from western Africa, through the Middle East and into Southeast Asia.

"These areas have also traditionally served as potential safe havens for terrorists in developing, organizing and preparing for asymmetric attacks against the developed world," says the report, produced earlier this year by the Canadian Forces Aerospace Warfare Centre.

No more country-to-country wars for Canada. Instead, soldiers will face shadowy enemies in weak or failed states with little regard for civilian safety.

"It is projected that irregular challenges, asymmetrical warfare, low-intensity conflicts and insurgencies will be the most prevalent form of conflict until 2019."

The report also explicitly probes Canada's domestic fault lines – features like our shared border and trade ties with the United States or our large immigrant populations – and puts them up against some of the world's most volatile disputes to offer scenarios showing how a largely peaceful society could be torn apart.

They include:

The introduction of national military service for new Canadians in 2016 to tackle large immigration flows and a depleted military.

War between India and Pakistan that sparks clashes in B.C.'s Lower Mainland and Ontario suburbs where refugee and immigrant populations from the two countries have settled.

A Taliban sleeper cell poisons the Montreal water system, killing and sickening thousands. Hospitals are swamped, the U.S. border closes and tourism plummets.

A large-scale Canadian military deployment to Afghanistan in 2016 to ensure Canadian business has free access to protectionist U.S. markets.

The scenarios may seem improbable, but they all have some basis in reality: Canada's dependence on the U.S.; international terrorist ambitions; simmering conflict in South Asia; and a stagnant military.

A study by the University of Ottawa earlier this year looked at security threats to Canada in 2020 and came up with similar outcomes to those of the military.

In one, the Pakistani state collapses in 2016 and India moves in, appointing friendly politicians and establishing its own laws. Protests eventually give way to riots in "Little Toronto," where Indians and Pakistanis live side-by-side.

"Fundamentalist feelings have flared up, opening the door to terrorist organizations and the recruitment of new members," says the April study.

The military's scenarios may be conceivable, but there's no evidence they are likely to occur, said Paul Robinson, a University of Ottawa professor and former military intelligence officer who helped design the dystopian outcomes for the University of Ottawa study.

"Scenario building is never desperately scientific in the sense that you are engaging in fantasy, but you can engage in fantasy in a more solidly grounded basis," he said.

In his opinion, the air force's strategic shocks are less grounded in scientific method than in the politics of a military bureaucracy competing for money.

"I suspect it's in an air force report because it makes you scared, and if it makes you scared you'll spend more on defence," he said. "That's just my cynical view."

The air force report cites various Canadian and British military studies to come up with its forecasts, as well as an official Air Force Strategy paper and the "vision of the Chief of the Air Staff."

As for the flying wing of the Canadian Forces, the future lies in the North and high in the skies.

With climate change, melting Arctic ice and the possibility of up to 80 per cent of the global transportation market moving through Canadian waterways, the air force plans to better protect Canadian territory, deter unfriendly visitors and rescue those in trouble in the unforgiving territory.

Dwindling global fuel stocks, and unstable oil prices, also make it more likely that the pilots of the future will have two feet on the ground, controlling surveillance and attack drones by remote control. It's unlikely the air force will ever purchase another fighter jet to replace its CF-18s, the report says. "In the future, smaller, cheaper and expendable unmanned combat aerial vehicles ... will have unsurpassable advantages over manned platforms in both performance and costs."

Orwellian-ggas: Positive Thinking vs. Positive Ignoring, Individualism vs. Globalism, Trust vs. Belief, Nature vs. New World Order

.

Just a head's up, there's lots of ways they're politically emasculating us, but with our freedom, education, wealth and access to communications technology, the problem isn't physical restraint, it's mental. We have to be careful not to miss the boat on this, once we get past a certain point where people learn to "love their servitude" as Alduous Huxley (Brave New World) predicted, we won't be able to turn it around.

In many ways, we're being taught to feel like we're in a literal prison and to randomly theorize and fantasize about the outside world to pass the time. Absent consistent control of our political system, or a desire for it, we argue more about all sorts of nonsense than we would otherwise. The big driver of togetherness used to be the need to work together to preserve and improve the welfare of the tribe. That's going.

Orwellian concepts like "Ignorance is strength!" are more subtle today, or they have an effect on us over time that we can't see easily. We're being taught to forget about actual "positive thinking", or seeing a problem and thinking we can solve it; to now "positive ignoring", or seeing a problem and thinking we can ignore it and be happy. There's no thinking involved at all. But, they still sell it as "positive thinking" anyway.

Individualism is also under attack, but not just to make us feel bad, it's also because the more we agree to think globally, like we're told to, the smaller we feel. Ironically (again), we think being part of big crowds or a global movement makes us happier. But, it just makes us feel less important and valued. People are happier in small companies or communities... not as 1 person in a global corporation of 7 billion.

This also makes us easier to control, or it's easier to control large groups of people than it is small groups, because in large groups we feel small. The more we go into this era of "globalization" the smaller we feel. We also like to "believe" whatever we want, but ironically (again!) that just destroys trust in people around you, including family and friends. If nobody can tell anybody what to do, nobody is worth anything.

People often think this is all "natural", but as Lenin said, humanity can go in many directions, but they must be taught to think the one they're going in is the only one. Our lack of trust means we often don't like learning from people just like us, just the "experts", though we all hear different experts and could simply trust each other and compare notes. Either way, we all have to figure out what's natural and what's not.

There's more to be said, but perhaps it's best to end on the idea of what makes us happy. Most guys want to feel their balls and most girls want a guy with balls. We're given lots of stuff that's supposed to make us happy, but we always crave more, so maybe there's a reason. Once we figure out how to deal with this pesky new world order problem in calm ways on a consistent basis, then we'll figure the rest out too.

Peace,
BK

This episode: since prominent people have warned us about new world order since the 60's and millions since, why is it hard to deal with today? Can people try positive thinking instead of positive ignoring? Will we be trapped in debt in internet gulags? Why do charities, activists and NGO's avoid looking deeper into problems they try to solve? Why are people so focused on the fight for freedom in Egypt instead of false flag fear where they live? What's happening to our e-kids? Will adults notice?

The President and the Press: Address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association, April 27, 1961

"... For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations."

Farewell Address, Dwight D. Eisenhower, January 17, 1961

"... In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes."

Big Sis Cites Staged Portland Terror Plot To Expand Domestic Spy Program

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com | February 3, 2011

Homeland Security is gearing up to accelerate the roll out of its domestic spying program by teaming up with the Department of Justice to expand the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Initiative, and in doing so cites the justification of the alleged plot to bomb a Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, a case of entrapment where the would-be bomber was groomed, set-up and even provided with a fake bomb by the FBI.

Harper, Obama expected to authorize sweeping overhaul of Canada-U.S. security

Les Whittington | Toronto Star | February 2, 2011

OTTAWA—After months of secret negotiations, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama are expected Friday to authorize the most sweeping overhaul of Canada-U.S. border and security cooperation in decades.

The agreement to be signed at a White House meeting will open the way to a bilateral pact with the potential to give Washington a much bigger say in Canada’s border security, immigration controls and information-sharing with American law agencies.

Tories and Liberals get grim rating in year-end poll

Jane Taber | Globe and Mail | December 17, 2010

Women are restless, young Canadian voters are searching for an alternative to the Tories and there is no majority government on the horizon, according to a new EKOS poll that puts Stephen Harper’s Conservatives 5.5 points ahead of Michael Ignatieff’s Liberals.

“Canadian federal politics is clearly in a rut,” pollster Frank Graves says.

Anderson Cooper has long traded on his biography, carving a niche for himself as the most human of news anchors. But there's one aspect of his past that the silver-haired CNN star has never made public: the months he spent training for a career with the Central Intelligence Agency.

“I wouldn’t mind if they said ‘Send me a picture of you.’ But it’s like the way they ask for it. Naked?” An after-school conversation with girls about sex and the Internet.

Her lips are full. She’s a pretty thing, and from the number of provocative images and Cristal’s pout in each of them, it appears that she knows it. In any case, whatever lingering self-doubts she may have had on the matter are surely dispelled by the comments: “VERY SEXY…..I LIKEY”; “god Damm Cristal! Feminists Surprised their Daughters are Sluts

Dr. Henry Makow | December 27, 2010

In a recent article "Outraged Moms, Trashy Daughters" by Anne Kingston, (Macleans, Aug 16, 2010) mothers lament that their daughters now see "empowerment" in terms of pleasuring males.

While the feminist mothers saw power as financial independence and rejected female "objectification," their daughters accept the pornographic message of pop music and advertising. In the words of one mom, they "believe their purpose in life is to be sexual beings who please men."

"A blow job is like shaking hands," said another mom. "Their attitude is: 'We're emancipated, we're liberated, we're in control. They see [it] as power; I see it as giving their power away."

New currency for global casino-gulag announced

Max Keiser | January 19, 2011

While attention is focused on SDR’s as the new global currency replacing the US dollar, virtual dollars have steadily moved into position to transform the global economy as we know it. As bad as fractional reserve banking and fiat currencies are – Zynga’s virtual currencies are worse. There is no denominator to this currency at all. No fraction. Just demand.

Dr William F. Pepper on MLK Jr and the 9/11 Truth Movement

Perhaps the most valuable information transmitted by Pepper in this keynote address is the story of infiltration of the National Conference for New Politics in 1967, a movement designed to challenge the political status quo with an anti-war, anti-poverty agenda. Pepper describes how agents provacateurs positioned themselves within the nascent party and pushed through highly questionable unacceptable resolutions designed to divide the participants.

Toronto cop faces second G20 assault charge

The Metro Toronto | February 3, 2011

TORONTO - A Toronto police officer is facing a second assault charge related to G20 protests.

Toronto police say Const. Babak Andalib-Goortani, 30, was charged Tuesday with assault with a weapon.

It follows a complaint that a woman was hit with a baton near the Ontario legislature last June 26.

The legislature was designated as a protest area during the summit of world leaders in downtown Toronto.
